I just called A&R to see if I could get a quote on fixing a bay window that is foggy due to a leaked seal in the dual panes. An incredibly unhelpful person answer ed the phone and told me that I had to pay $250 to get a technician to come out to even look at it. I asked why I had to pay just to get an estimate and she replied that they would have to pull someone off of a job to look at my window. I have never in my 30 years of home ownership encountered anything like that. How unreasonable and absurd to expect someone to pay over $200 just for an estimate. She was polite, but I felt like they had zero interest in my getting my business. Too bad because I was contemplating all new windows for my home. I can't speak to the work they do, but I will say that there are MANY other window companies out there who are actually interested in gaining customers, not keeping them away. read more

they take a little longer than some companies to get an estimate but it's worth the wait. they charge to send someone out in person but do free estiamates over text with photos and info. only place that actually got all the details correct and even lowered their price to match the other quote i got even though the other quote was wrong. read more

I had A & R Junior install my new shower doors and mirrors in our new bathroom and the results are exactly what we were looking for. They suggest the upgraded blue glass for the shower and I am so happy with the result. There was a small snafu with the glass door handle but they were right on top of the correction and had it done within the week. I found this business online and contacted them to replace a broken glass in the bedroom window. The gentleman that I spoke with , I think his name was Richard, told me he is the owner and his crew are booked for over 2 weeks but he was nice enough to squeeze me in 2 days and he said he will do the job himself. I sent him a picture of the window and he texted me a quote for the price. I had also called one other business before and his price was much more reasonable. I felt he was very honest with me. So I made an appointment for 2 days later. Today he sent another guy instead of himself and this gentleman was also very polite and professional. He had brought a helper and between the 2 of them they replaced the broken glass in no time (less than an hour) he also told me that there were a couple of screws missing on the window and he replaced them. So to make the story short I was very impressed with the professionalism at this company, how quickly they fixed my window and the fair price they gave me. I contacted A&R as a backup to my contractors vendor just in case their estimate came in too high. Marianna was helpful from the start and we were able to set up a same day estimate. Richard came out and took measurements and provided me with an estimate by the following morning (less than 24 hrs after I contacted them). I did not use them only because my contractor ended up paying for our glass enclosures due to some missteps on the project. If not for that, we would have hired A&R. We plan to do more projects and will contact them again as they were professional, punctual and the product looks to be top quality at a reasonable price. read more
