Universal Iron Doors has been a dream to work with from beginning to installation. Starting off in the showroom they have so many options, something for everyone and every situation. There are LOTS of doors on display so Enrique Marquez, sales rep, explained the various options and details to us. After that he let us wander around and peruse on our own, no pressure, just let us know where he would be when we needed him. Once we narrowed our choices down he walked us through the inventory and the available options and timelines for in stock and custom orders. Enrique told us how to measure our doorways, so we did that when we got home and emailed him the info. He had CAD drawings prepared from the info and sent them to us for approval. The invoices and payments were also handled online. Enrique walked us through the entire process. Anytime I had a question or issue he was right there to help out. Even during installation. We ended up ordering an in stock and custom door (due to odd size). For the in stock door, I received a call to schedule installation immediately! The lady that called said she likes to schedule them as soon as she receives the order and she wasn't lying. We scheduled installation for 5 weeks out, which is reasonable. Then 1 week later, on a Friday, she called back and asked if they could install on Monday. I said Yes! The installation team, Vahe and Ahot, showed up on Monday as scheduled and did an absolutely FANTASTIC job!! The door looks soooooo good!! They communicated well, also noticed that the lock was missing on the order and helped me get that corrected with Enrique. They were very respectful of keeping the area clean, making sure everything was clean and all trash/debris removed when they left. So pleased even 10 Year later! The quality of Universal Doors is A+ Vilen came out and did a once over on the finish and realigned the doors. We had knicks and some sun fade to be expected with well used doors in the am sun.. they look brand new! Vilen couldn't be been more professional and kind. He is an expert at finishes. I drove out 65 miles to come see this place! For our home we have the rare 42" wide size door in our house. All the door places we have been to don't have 42" wide doors or if they do it's like 2-3 styles to choose from. We really didn't want to reframe our door to fit a different size door. I was shocked on how many 42" wide doors they had here. The selection was a lot too. Nico who helped us was friendly and this place was clean. We found our door and ordered it. We bought our door from Universal Door, and Asael "Ace" Curiel was our salesman. He was fantastic to work with. We couldn't believe how many doors they had on display, and after shopping around for nearly a year, Ace helped us find the perfect one in just a few hours. I originally thought I could handle the installation myself. I removed the old door, raised the header about 16 inches, and got the opening square and plumb. At that point, I felt ready to go, until I realized just how heavy the new 60" x 96" door and frame really were. It was not a one-person job, and suddenly I was stuck with a massive opening where my front door should have been, with my wife giving me the L@@K! I started calling around for help, but most installers either didn't want to touch it since I had already started the work, said it was too heavy, or quoted extremely high prices. I reached back out to Ace to see if he knew someone. Without hesitation, he said, "I've got you, I'll be there Saturday," and he followed through. Ace handled the installation and did an excellent job. He was clean, professional, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. He also charged far less than anyone else I spoke with, honestly less than I would expect to pay for a "Normal" door installation. I highly recommend Ace and Universal Door. read more

I bought a door from this company. Worst mistake of my life. I live in NY and i have frost coming inside of my house. I called them and they said there is nothing they could do about this and no credit they can provide for this issue. I was never told aboit the thermal break option until the customer service rep told me i probably didnt have that option. Do not buy these low quality doors especially if you live in cold areas!
