I'm a Residential Builder. I've installed many different window and door systems. Hands down, Sejon and his team offer uncompromising value, with an expertise rarely found in our industry. I cannot speak highly enough about them, and will get into why I feel this way. But first, let me say this - if you're looking to get a window repaired, or glass replaced, or are a retail customer without any background in window systems - I don't know that Pristine Windows is where you should be looking. They're not setup that way, it's clearly not their business. What is their business - they provide a precision approach to new construction and remodeling projects when it comes to window and door systems. Through a detailed oriented lens, Sejon will quickly identify and troubleshoot issues, and in turn offer the correct solution, prior to even ordering. You're going to have a rock solid installation working with them. You project will run incredibly smooth having Sejon on your team. If you're a builder or developer, creating quality builds, you really do need to connect with Sejon. Having him on your team guarantees the glazing /fenestration phase of your project is installed and completed to the highest standard. Literally spoke to a gentleman on the phone at Pristine Windows 20 seconds ago and felt the need to log on to Yelp immediately and write a review after my conversation with him. He was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I have a window whose glass spontaneously combusted. Of course the glass is not covered by the warranty and the manufacturer charges $400 to fix, so they recommended I call a dealer to fix it cheaper and faster, which I found listed on their website. I called, and the first thing said to me was "well what do you want me to do about it?" Sir, I want you to replace the glass. "Well it's going to cost you, we don't do that free." Yes, I am well aware of that you rude imbecile. Who taught you social manners? Anyone?! Then he tells me they don't do repairs. Fine. I hung up. Obviously you don't want my business, so you don't get it. A$$hole. I would be highly suspicious of all the 5 star reviews that have no pictures, no friends, and very few reviews. I had an awful customer service experience with these people. As "certified Milgard Window Experts" I reached out to them for recommendations on my Milgard windows. Not only did they not return my voice messages left on their main line, but when I was finally able to luck out and get an actual human on the phone, I was curtly dismissed with: "we don't offer recommendations"...the man offered no help whatsoever, and hung up. And, they call themselves "authorized experts". So sad. Try another "authorized" dealer....it would be impossible to find an establishment that cared less than these people. read more

I ask Bobby at Pristine to send a quote for a bifold door system in vinyl. He responded quickly that he would do so and I asked him to send a link or images of the system he would be quoting. He continued to send me weblinks that did not work. I asked via email several times that he send me an image or link that did work. He finally sent me a pdf that did not open because he did not give me access. Finally I called him and he was curt and rude, and said to, "forget about it, we don't do vinyl anyway, go somewhere else" and he hung up. Had he simply explained that to me earlier today I would have moved on and not spent several hours waiting for information from him. I found the company to provide very bad email and phone service and recommend going elsewhere for your door needs, which frankly was his suggestion anyway. read more

It has been a while since I had interactions with Pristine Windows. They were quite professional and friendly and explained everythingI needed to know to make my decisions. Because of structural reasons they suggested that I do not make the changes. They spent quite a bit of time and then did not charge me anything because no slide doors were installed. As I got ready to write a review I came across a one star review by a person who wanted to get a broken glass replaced. She was upset that this company limits its service installing new windows and referred to their salesman as an A$$hole. Many professionals limit their activities to certain services, sometimes for time reasons, sometimes because they can be more efficient at some work than others. There are many businesses run by one person, who specialize in just replacing broken glass. This woman with the foul mouth would be well advised contact a person like this and would probably get the job done at a reasonable price. I cannot imagine that the salesperson, who was nice to me and took a lot of time without earning a penny would behave that badly on a short phone call. But some people cannot take it if someone says no to their request, no matter how friendly it was done. read more

I was reminded how unprofessional Pristine Windows is when I received an emailed quote that was for another customer. I probably wouldn't be writing this if it wasn't for that email. Since I was reminded, I might as well oblige them. Maybe PW customer service will be more attentive if you have a large order, but I only needed one window. My initial contact was fine and my order was taken. But when it came to delivery it was a friggin nightmare. I was promised a two week turn around. So I waited the two weeks, and then contact them. They said it was in Fresno and it would be in the next day. My contractor was going to come by the day after I picked it up. I called the next day to confirm and they said it was in a warehouse in Torrance and it would be there the following day. So I called my contractor to push back the day. Again, I called and said I would be coming by and they said that it was still in the warehouse because they had a big delivery somewhere else and no one could pick it up. When I reminded them that I had already been pushed back and my contractor was accommodating them, the guy angrily said, "well what do you want me to do?" He sarcastically continued, "drive down to Torrance and get it myself?" To which I replied, "yes." I was made to feel guilty that he had to drive through traffic and I wanted my window. Would I recommend Pristine Window to a friend or enemy, "No." read more

We had excellent experience with Pristine Windows. We wanted to replace eight old louver windows with new windows with noise and wind insulation. John came over and measured the windows. He then emailed us a competitive proposal. We spoke a few times about the window types for each room. I appreciated his professional no pressure approach, and answering my questions. He's very knowledgeable and offered info & advice. John helped us choose the windows based on our preferences, the price point & product line we worked with, and the local building code. We worked through a few versions of the proposal until we were happy with everything in the final proposal, and signed the contract. John came over before ordering the windows, to verify precise measurements and for us to see where the horizontal dividers should be. On installation day everything went smoothly. The installers showed up on time. They covered everything around to protect. They installed all the windows in one day. They vacuumed after the work was done and left everything clean. They were responsive, professional & polite. They answered any question we asked and responded to any concern we had and did an excellent job. We're very pleased with the windows. I have just had all my windows replaced by Pristine Windows and the new windows are wonderful. The work was done beautifully and the installers took great care to protect all my belongings. My house was built in 1941 and has 21 double hung and picture windows. The new, double-pane windows are beautiful and don't need painting ever! I hired Pristine Windows to install new Milgard Windows for my townhome about 2 years ago. I wanted to write a very positive review shortly after the work was done, but then time just flew by and I recently was reminded in writing another review. I really wanted to give Pristine Windows a good review because I was so pleased with their customer service and quality of work. I got 4 other quotes before hiring them and I would say Pristine is very reasonably priced. I learned that you have to be very wary of inexpensive quotes because the quality of work may not be there. They may not be licensed or experienced. Or they may provide a cheap product. Pristine Windows is very professional and they provided very high quality work. Norman, the installer has come back a few times to fix some issues I've had. They didn't charge anything extra each time! Sejon, the owner, is always very responsive and level headed. I've already recommended them to a friend that lives in Redondo Beach. I'd definitely use them again for my next home! read more

We are very satisfied with the French doors and windows we purchased from Pristine Windows in West L. A. The salesman was very knowledgeable; he understood what we were looking for and offered us reasonably priced options. He always responded very promptly to e-mails when we had questions, and he quickly adjusted his estimate after each of the many changes we requested. We liked the fact that Pristine offers several brands, rather than being just a sales force for a single brand. The installers did an excellent job and were very fast. They handled a very complicated French door installation that required major carpentry work due to settling of one exterior wall. They even installed a doggie door requiring custom carpentry, below a casement window. They also found oak trim that matched our paneling, to install around one set of French doors and the adjacent casement windows. The only negative aspect of the installation (and the reason for a 4 rating instead of a 5) was the mess. On a day when the main supervisor was not on site, they were sawing wood in the den with an electric saw, with no dust protection for the furniture or open bookshelves. When they finished the entire job, there was significant debris on the patio and driveway, including metal filings. read more

I had 12 windows retrofitted in my home by Pristine this past week - the living room and 2 kids' bedrooms. I chose Milgard vinyl dual pane double hung windows from the Tuscany line. The whole process was completely drama-free. I could not imagine that the windows could be replaced without needing a paint job afterwards. John told me I might need a little touch-up. I was skeptical. In fact, there is only very minor touch-up to do - not even necessary. The crew from Pristine came in and got the job done and completely cleaned up in about 6 hours. They covered everything in the rooms they were working in, and put everything back when they were done. They even vacuumed. I have alarm screens on most of my windows, so I had the alarm guys here at the same time to make any necessary adjustments to the screens and magnets, and they all worked very well together. I had priced a couple of other window companies and Pristine not only had the best prices but also had great reviews on Angie's List and Yelp. I was very concerned that vinyl windows might look cheap - they don't. Maybe because I did a retrofit and kept my own screens - there is literally no difference from the outside, and on the inside I think they look great. I realize that the real test of new windows is how they hold up; time will tell. But my experience with Pristine so far has been excellent, and I highly recommend them. read more

The experience was great. They are extremely professional. It's sort of a family run business because the guys that installed the windows and doors are related to the owner. JP and Norman are extremely responsive and considerate. They cover and tape up everything and clean up well after themselves. I felt like they didn't dismiss or trivialize my concerns. They definitely looked out for us as customers as well. They didn't install the windows for a few days because it was so windy. They were concerned about all the potential lead dust blowing around everywhere. They also patched the wall with a drywall like substance around my sliding glass door to cover my old aluminum frame because I didn't like the way it looked had they left it. Since the installation, they've come out to fix a couple of issues. Sejon, the owner was quick to respond and Normal the guy in charge of installation was quick to come out! They may not be the cheapest price you'll find for window installation, but they provide quality work. When researching windows, I mainly looked for price, reputation and safety. I wanted lead safe certified installers because I have two young kids. I got four different quotes and their prices are pretty competitive, especially when you consider quality of work, which is extremely important when you install new windows. read more
