While stationed overseas, my realtor sought Patriot's services to inspect my septic system before an imminent closing. Unbeknownst to Patriot, I had already serviced my septic system prior to vacating the property, ensuring it was fully functional and in need of no repairs. The previous company provided detailed reports and photographic evidence of the system's condition. Additionally, a separate company, separate from the first and Patriot, was hired to empty the tank for the convenience of the new owner and to facilitate any necessary home inspections for their loan. Nonetheless, Patriot conducted their inspection without any supervision; and to my shock, they recommended a complete system replacement. With my closing rapidly approaching and me being overseas, Patriot seized the opportunity to take advantage of the situation. Please be cautious, as Patriot may be proficient in their work, but they clearly lack integrity. I arranged for my own company to reevaluate Patriot's recommendations, and they disagreed with the need for an extensive system replacement. Furthermore, the other company provided supplementary documentation supporting the system's good condition. The most concerning part was Patriot's manipulated the system so the pump could not be further tested. The house was only 7 years old, had a complete inspection and service, but Patriot advocated for an entire system overhaul, including a new pump, control box, and various components. As I shared my experience with others, it came to light that Patriot's practice of recommending unnecessary upgrades and charging for them during inspections is not uncommon. This unscrupulous practice benefits Patriot, as they assume that homebuyers won't be alarmed by an approximately $5,000 bill since these costs are often covered at closing, and sellers are more concerned with the overall profits and selling of their home. As a result, Patriot can unjustly charge exorbitant fees for services that were neither required nor actually performed. In sum, Patriot Septic & Waterworks is a company that must be avoided at all costs. Their lack of professionalism and unethical recommendations and billing practices render them a hazard to anyone in need of septic and waterworks services. I strongly advise you to seek a more reputable and honest company for your septic needs. My experience with Patriot served as a costly lesson for anyone searching for a reliable home services provider.

May 2024 we had the beginning of our plumbing issues on our well system. After being ghosted by our first plumber, and finding out the second one we used would not be able to get to us in a timely manner, we reached out to Alexander & Sons. They came out to get a water sample to determine what type of system we would need and that was the extent of their service. They claimed we had bacteria in our system (but never provided a report) and would need to shock it before performing work. After a few phone calls and no shows, they claimed they came out to do it. Unfortunately for them, my security cameras told otherwise. When I called them back to confirm, I was then ignored for a week. I called another company, who came out, tested, and replaced our system in the time it took this company to ignore me and reach back out to me. When I informed them I went with someone else and told them they never came back, the person on the phone told me they did. I then informed them that they did not because A) my security cameras never caught them, and they would have if they had come in my driveway and B) there was something left behind on the well cover by the plumbers who replaced my well pump. She then called me back and left a voicemail (which I still have) telling me to get my cameras checked because they did come out and move a pair of pliers from the cover. Only problem? It was electrical tape the previous plumbers left behind next to the well which I then placed on top of the cover when cutting grass, not pliers. So either the plumbers lied to her and she didn't know or she lied to cover for them. Either way, unacceptable. Overall, I would avoid them and go with a larger company who, even though you may pay more, at least gets the job done.

When I got a hold of Jenny from Alexander and sons she blamed my warranty company for not sending them any appointment. She later admitted to receiving the information the day before my appointment but chose not to reach out that day or the day of the appointment but blamed me. I took off work for this appointment which is unacceptable.

The owner, Mark, indicated that he wanted to resolve the issues and offered to apply an additional topcoat to the driveway for an added cost. Based on those representations, I gave the company an opportunity to address the concerns. Despite investing nearly $17,000 in this project, the driveway remains unsatisfactory in my opinion. The surface appears patchy, contains depressions where water collects, and portions of the material began deteriorating almost immediately after installation. These issues have required me to seek evaluation and repairs from another contractor. I was initially assured that the company would stand behind its work and was asked not to engage another contractor while the matter was being addressed. However, my subsequent attempts to obtain a response and resolution have gone unanswered. Due to the condition of the driveway and the lack of resolution, I am currently pursuing legal remedies and have retained legal counsel regarding this matter. Consistent with my attorney's advice, I may provide additional documentation relevant to my experience, including photographs, video footage of the installation process, and records of conversations that occurred during the project, so that others may make their own informed decisions. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions regarding the workmanship, responsiveness, and overall handling of this project.
