Whenever i see those freakout videos of customers going ape crazy, I always feel bad for the servers. I too worked in fast food and i emphasize. But then there is this location.... let me just say, I have great patience and am ALWAYS very polite to servers but when they mess up your order and insist that they didn't eventhough its only for a lousy $2 gravy then I can see why some people can get into some argument! It was more like 15-20mins BUT... then a young lady came out and apologized for the long wait and added an extra cheese curd and two pies for the long wait. If I could give 1/2 Star I would, they don't even deserve one star. I'm in drive through, I order 3 pc tender meal ($5.99) and ask for the additional side (that's offered on sign for 1.50$) and I also say I will also have the Monday .99 cent burger, but with cheese. I get to window and it's it's almost 13.00$ -- why so much I ask-- she tells me my order I said the side item was 1.50$ it said on sign. She was a little irritated and then said it was $11.something! I pull up, look at my receipt and they charged me $2.79+.50 for cheese for the .99 cent burger -- I go in explain that I'm waiting on food but I was charged wrong. Shift supervisor had to come over and he was rude, as I waited for 3-4 min. I said I need to get to the car, my 6 yr old is in there, (right at the door that I can see) can you just bring my change out with my food. Ok great, my food comes 3 minutes later. NO CHANGE!! We had a busy morning today. We went to the dentist and then stopped at a used car dealership and spent several hours looking for a vehicle to tow behind our motorhome. We did not find one. We came home through Chehalis and Centralia on Kresky and the on Main Street. OMG the KFC aroma filled our nostrils and we began to feel hunger pangs. We decide to go through the drive through and eat at home. The woman who spoke to us through the microphone had an Hispanic accent that was hard to understand because the quality of the microphone connection was garbled. The garbling and her accent meant we had to ask her to repeat herself several times. We ordered a 2 piece meal all white and a 2 piece meat all dark plus drings. We paid $17.84 for the two meals. The prices had gone up considerably since last summer. We ate when we got home. The chicken was original recipe and was very good. The two sides, mashed potatoes and coleslaw taste like they always have, a little soggy with not much flavor. Hey, when the urge to have KFC hits, I will tolerate lack of flavor in the side dishes as long as the chicken is still good and today it was still good. read more

I was hoping to speak with a mgr, but after trying to reach one by phone for 2 days with no luck, so I am turning to Yelp to voice my frustration with KFC Centralia. Thursday 8 31 18 I wanted to take advantage of their happy hour which is 2 to 5 pm. I pulled into the drive thru at 4:50....only one car in front of me. This customer took 5 min to make up her mind. That left me 5 min. When I drove up to the speaker, the young male employee asked me to wait. 5 min later he asked for my order. I told him I wanted to order from the happy hour menu and he told me I was 15 SECONDS too late. When I told him the only reason I was late was because he made me wait. He said he could not do anything about that because the register would not accept happy hour orders even 1 second late. I was livid.....hes the reason I was late. He refused to make an exception. I left and took my business to Burger King, who made me feel welcomed. On my 48 state roadtrip I have stopped at many KFCs but have never encountered anyone so ridiculous and definitely not customer oriented. I dont know how this location stays in business. I do not recommend anyone go there. Maybe someday KFC will open a second location in either the Chamber Way or Napavine area and soneone more customer oriented will manage it and provide Lewis County with better service. read more
