The wait for the food was a ridiculous 35 minutes and the food was nothing I could in all honesty rate above a 3 out of 5 the shakes were thin and runny and the fries were the sane ones that are $2 for a 2 lb bag at grocery outlet . The place is like a roadside coffee stand, you pull up to the window and order so not much of an atmosphere. Whatever. I took my double cheeseburger and tater tots and ate a nearby park. I enjoyed it. It was greasy, but I like that once in a while. The servers were very friendly. Next time I'm in town I'll swing by again. I hear they have good shakes but didn't order this time. This place was great! My husband and I stopped by after a long day for a burger and a milkshake. We ordered 2 burgers, sodas, fries, onion rings, and a blackberry milkshake. Total was about $55 which I think is absolutely fair for the quality and quantity of food you receive. Everything is made to order and fresh. We just by chance happened upon this place on a road trip. It was nice to just pull up to the window. Our burgers blew our minds. They were very substantial and the perfect amount of flavors and textures Might be my favorite burger I've ever had. I had a cheeseburger as is and my husband a bacon cheeseburger. The girls at the window were pleasant. I will say the fries were just ok compared to the burger but it's a HUGE order. I wish she would have told us we could have just ordered one. My Pepsi was not very good. Very flat. These are not a huge deal but with the price you pay for these items now it sucks when they are sub par. This is not a cheap burger place or a fast burger place, as you have to wait at the window for it to be cooked. But in my opinion the burgers are phenominal! Stopped for a quick bite to eat, and it's a true classic drive through. I enjoyed the fries the most, but since that is something of high importance to me thats all good! Nice stop on a road trip. As with any drive through, the time you have to wait varies with what the people in front orders. Great old time burger and ice cream drive up! We stopped here for dinner around 5:30 on a Thursday in July. There were only 2, or, 3 cars at the drive up windows and we were surprised it took a little time to get our order in/made? That was until... we drove around back to the large parking area to park and eat. There were 6 more cars lined up side by side, with a nice lady taking orders. One of those things only the locals know about... LOL! People were standing outside of their cars talking and kids were playing close by. A very old time relaxed feeling seemed to surround the place. There is also a nice inside seating area in a building off to the SW side of the Drive through. Large trash cans and nice bathrooms in the same area. The friendly young (HS?) waitress was very efficient at the drive through and a joy to talk with. Our food (corn dog/grilled cheese on sourdough) was very good, but, the $3.75 sundaes were the best! Went once because I had a friend that worked there. Management was horrible, there was a very rude older woman who slammed the window in our faces and said our orders were gross. Looking into the windows was disgusting within itself as the floors were BLACK. I mean, why? Why are they black? Clean. Prices were insanely high given the food is not all that great. Our burgers were burnt, we found hair in one of them, and to top it off, my brother and I went home to have upset stomachs for days. We still ordered a cheese burger and some onion rings to avoid starvation while on the road. My RTP and I had a seat in the dining area after he made certain the only door in the place didn't lock form the outside. Yes, it was a little sketchy. Food came out within 5-10 minutes. I don't know why I keep coming here, neither does my husband. Been sitting in line behind 1 car for 25 minutes. Did they come out to take my order to shorten my time at the window? Nope. All in all I think that took me 35 minutes with a baby crying in the car. That is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a drive thru. About 50% of the time they mess up my burger toppings. The amount is always different to, since they don't give you a receipt with what you're charged I'm going to assume I get over charged here and there. We ordered, fish and chips, 1 corn dog, fried mushrooms, large chocolate peanut butter shake, small Sierra mist, large pepsi, 2 fry sauces, 1 Tatar. I made the mistake of not checking the bag before we left. Our house is about 3mins away. When we got home we noticed we were missing the Tatar and corn dog. My wife went back to get the corn dog for my son. After talking to the younger worker about the mistake the older one that took our order was making a scene. Very interesting little establishment. Drive up windows for ordering and if you want, they have a little indoor patio area which is kind of strange. If I hadn't just eaten I would have loved to try their food as it smelled good when we pulled up. I had there ice cream sunday which had fudge, nuts and whipped cream on soft serve. Stopped by 25 minutes before closing (which I felt bad about) and the women working was rolling her eyes and telling me what an inconvenience I was because they had already turned off the grill and closed the machines. Have always gotten great meals here so came again! Tonight I am not sure what happened. Clam strips burnt and tough. Fries also overcooked and crispy. They are normally seasoned but tonight nothing but greasy crispy tasteless! Burger average at best... Not the norm! Onion rings also dry and crispy. Don't know if ownership changed, new employee or what but definitely not our usual experience. Will try this place one more time but if this happens again we will not be back. This is my favorite place to get a burger in the Twin Cities (Centralia/Chehalis). "Do you want onions on that?" is always the question they ask when you place you order. My answer is always "yes!". I don't know what it is about their burgers, but the combination of lettuce, onions, tomato, and dressing is second to none around here. You have to get your order "to go". They have a secondary building that serves as the "sit-down" part of the establishment, but is is basically a covered picnic area. The drive through is kind of unique...car go one way on one side of the building and the opposite way on the other side. This really is a burger "shack" in the very sense of the word.
