Honestly why go to Duane Reade, CVS, or even Rite-Aid when you can just go to D & D to make a one stop pit shop and buy all your beauty supplies that you would need by just simply shopping here instead?!?! By far this place is phenomenal. All the beauty products a girl can dream of and their choices here are absolutely sick (in a good way of course)!!! . Let's just say, walking in here will make you feel like a fat kid walking into a candy store. All the findings are sweet and colorful and it's at your finger tips (literally)!!! So next time if you ever wonder where the nail salon people go to buy their supplies, look no further. Btw, don't be timid when walking in, this place is a wholesale/retail store. They sell everything under the sun and if you don't know what it is, just ask. The people there are helpful but not friendly. Lol...if that makes sense! O.P.I - $5 Essie: $4 Dante: $2

$4 Essie polishes in all the colors of the rainbow. I'll never go anywhere else to feed my polish obsessions. They have a smaller selection than Nails Plus two blocks down, but the ladies are friendlier, and I find their actual nail supply tools (cuticle oil, lotion, pedi salts) more plentiful. P.S. You must try the Duri polishes! They're $3 but have better staying power than Essie. Take it from a nail polish addict :)

(9/14/19) This was a pretty cool store. I was greeted with a hello & a smile when I entered. It's open to regular consumers (you do not need a tax or business ID to shop here) They have a good selection of high quality brands which I love! Mostly everything was organized, & if I needed help, someone was there to assist me. I mainly went in to shop for Kiara Sky, & their Gel Polishes were $6 which is AMAZING!! I literally ordered from the Kiara Sky website about 2 days ago & their Gel Polish retails for $12.99! I was like omg! I canceled that order with the quickness lol! I made sure to open each & every polish I wanted before purchasing & they weren't thick or dried out (major plus). The BIGGEST thing for me with this store was that I wasn't being WATCHED every isle I went in. I know it's Chinese owned & at times they stare at your every move you (plenty of beauty supply stores I've been to) but I was not watched & so grateful for that. I did not give this store 5 stars because they didn't have my FAVORITE Pure White & Matte Top by Kiara Sky lol! Everything else is great!

I immediately went straight for the Ghibli Studio stuff in the back of course to see what kind of Totoro items they may have. It's not the biggest and most spacious but very decently sized place. They accept both credit/debit card and cash as forms of payment. Staff is friendly and fast service since there's never a line. Stuff can get pricey depending on what you wanna buy. However, I think their prices are actually pretty reasonable and way cheaper compared to other websites and Amazon in my most honest opinion. I bought some lotion from them, and a while later (a month or so), my wife noticed black mold growing on the top. Pretty horrifying, because I hadn't noticed, and I'd been putting it on my face! Yuck. I brought it back, to tell them about it, not to ask for my money back, which I made clear. I just thought they would want to know. The salesperson called the manager to come over, who was excessively argumentative about it. "Let me explain something to you about our products," he said. "Our products do NOT grow mold." It was a little like the old, "who are you going to believe?" joke, since mold was growing right on top of the lotion, and we could both see it. And he just wouldn't stop. I kept telling him, I don't want to discuss this, I just thought they would want to know, I was just trying to be a good samaritan for one of my favorite stores. And he kept arguing. "Mold is caused primarily by moisture," he said at one point, as though he thought I was very stupid. Finally I said, "I'm going to ask you to stop talking." And he wouldn't! So I had to say it again. This all bothers me for two reasons. First, I thought the guy was defensive and insulting. Why disbelieve me? Did he think I brought some kind of fake moldy lotion to his store because ... why? He should have just thanked me for letting him know. Second, I thought they SHOULD care that their lotion grows mold! So the manager doesn't care about quality control, and he has an attitude problem. I don't feel that I can trust their products anymore, and unfortunately I cannot go back. It's too bad, because I used to love this store.
