Finding the right auto body and paint shop for unforeseen car repairs is hardly something people look forward to. Well, you're in for luck. ABC Auto Body & Paint is at the very top of my list, and not just because I sorted in alphabetical order. So someone backed into a family member's car and scratched their brand new vehicle. Remembering a positive experience with ABC, my Dad asked me to take his car in to this auto body repair shop to get things fixed. I was truly impressed by the quality of their work and how closely the paint was matched to the original color. You really could not tell the difference between the fixed panel and the rest of the brand new vehicle. And the price was way more reasonable than other places recommended by the insurance company. Unfortunately, the same car was hit again just two weeks later in a different area. Thankfully, we were able to work with ABC on these repairs too and even received a personal visit from the shop owner. Kindness is so key, especially in stressful situations. Great service and 100% recommend! It took a few weeks for the car to get fixed, but if you can be patient and understanding itʻs well worth the wait because 1) the car was carefully fixed, 2) the quality of the work was superb, and 3) the owner and car repair man are very pleasant + professional people to work with. Some teenagers shouldn't be allowed to drive; including that moron kid who couldn't bother to ask his two passenger friends to direct him in the former Crazy Karaoke's tight parking lot that put a big fat dent in my parked car's bumper, thus necessitating my need for an auto body repair shop. I went to A B C Auto on the suggestion of my father who's used them in the past. They quoted me $70 for the dent removal, but since my bumper's paint was already damaged from the prior owner, I couldn't in good judgement bill the teenager's parents for a repaint as it was something he didn't cause. Even if the kid had the judgment of one Ted Mosby with two tickets to man vs robot boxing, as tempting as that may be. Anyway, A B C got my repair done within a few hours. The dent was gone as if it never happened and I went on my merry way, sending the bill over to the teenager's parents. The repair guy was a little bit surly, but at that price, I could hardly complain. The shop is somewhat dirty, but it's an auto body shop, so that's expected. While the folks there were at the mercy of getting parts from BMW they were kind and courteous through the entire process keeping both myself and the insurance company informed on the progress. All these butt hurt reviews about how the old man was rude. He isn't friendly but neither is he rude. He has a sharp mind and a sarcastic sense of humor. I think it's kind of funny but I deal with difficult people all day long in my job so this old man's attitude didn't even bother me. I had a mishap with running into a newly placed high curb in a driveway. Called if I could bring my car in for an estimate that evening right before closing and he told me to stop by the next day after 930AM when he gets in. He told me I would have to come back because it would take a few hours. I asked if I could leave it now and I would catch an Uber to the mall and hang out. He was able to take me in same day. I had my sisters with me so we walked to the corner of S King and McCully and rented Biki bikes and ride our way to Ala Moana. An hour and a half later, he calls that it's ready for pick up. Yes he isn't talkative and yes, he doesn't offer kiss your ass service. What a bunch of cry babies in their reviews. He gets the job done efficiently and with great quality and at affordable rates. Best Collision Work Ever! I live in Berkeley, CA and was on holiday visiting my family in Kapolei - my cousin's car was hit while parked. Unfortunately, the other party did not leave their contact info nor their insurance info. After a couple high estimates from local body shops, my cousin starting asking around, and ABC Auto Body & Paint was highly recommended by multiple people. We just drove in and obtained an estimate that same day. I must say, the owner was efficient and very reasonably priced - the turnaround time from the estimate to the repair was extremely quick as well. All he had to do was explain that I needed to bring my car in for assessment - the "I can't read minds" comment was so not necessary.
