It was my first time going to an auto body shop; I was very nervous. I took my car in for a rust removal assessment as I had a rusty hole growing over the passenger seat and it was traveling do the door frame, so it was structural damage possibly. My guy friends told me auto body/rust jobs are the most expensive and with a truck of my age, I was best off buying a new truck! But i'm sentimental. Martin assessed rust removal on my truck in person. We talked about what I felt I needed, that they'd have to cut out the rust areas. I also wanted to know if they saw future issues anywhere else. Martin was straightforward with what he saw, predictions of where the rust may travel, what definitely needed to be done, what I had time to wait on and shop time. One rust area was young but the back seat glass was involved. He advised it as an area to consider seeing as they were going to repaint my entire roof anyways. Martin said they don't handle glass and would have to send it out to a partner shop they work with that does good work. Reasonable price. It gave peace of mind they work with other experts so that I'm getting the best but cost-conscious service. I liked that he wasn't salesy. By the time I got home, an email quote was in my mailbox: what they'd do in item detail with cost. Easy to understand for a car owner with no knowledge of how autobody shops work. Kwan's Auto Body shop's quote was super reasonable. I mean, the rust could've really traveled when you look under the hood so I was worried the cost could change in a big way, but they assured me that was the cost. It was affordable and fair! Picked her up in four days (timeline was not important to me; I wanted it done well) - she was like BRAND NEW. I was SHOCKED! The paint color matched my truck and my roof cab looked like new! Showed me photos of the rust damage they saw, what they carved out and did. The small rust didn't show to the visible eye but it was spreading "under" the rubber to the glass . I'm soooo glad I listened to Martin's assessment and got that additional spot done. When I think of : - all the structural rust they cut out - the partial structural damage that had to be rebuilt - the additional rust spot that was secretly SPREADING (that I didn't know about) - the fact I've now ALSO got an entirely brand new-looking roof which I didn't count on (TBH, the old one was faded, weathered & lost its sheen) - I didn't have to buy a NEW truck because my old one has been saved I feel like I got a freaking PHENOMENAL DEAL, where I actually SAVED MONEY getting the work done. Great work , value and service. I scraped my 2 month old beloved Prius against a concrete pillar backing out of the parking space in my building garage. Concrete Pillar 1 Beloved Prius 0 Called a handful of body repair shops in the town area. One never answered or responded to my message. One took 3 days to respond. One told me my side mirror is a specialty item and couldn't guarantee if he could get it within a few weeks and he also gave the impression that the process of working with my insurance company could drag on. I asked if I could pay him directly then have the insurance company reimburse me. He said no and that he needed to work with and bill the insurance company directly. NOT TRUE. Then there was Martin at Kwan's Auto... He answered the phone, asked me to drive by and let him look at the car. Upon inspection, he gave me a quote of about $1,400 which was about $365 below the estimate from my insurance of $1,735. Made an appointment with Martin , and as promised, 4 days later, the repairs were completed and the charge was $1,435. Paid with my credit card and by that time, Liberty Mutual had already mailed me a check for $1,235 - $500 deductible = $1,735 estimate. I really appreciated Martin's friendly, low key, honest, no drama approach. I couldn't be happier with the repairs. The car looks as good as new and they even washed it. Martin said his workers have been with him for 30* years and were very experienced. Pro tip : Expect about a 2 week wait before they can take your car. Those 2 are the ones who are consistently there and give honest feedback. I'm a repeat satisfied customer, just got my car back today, beyond great results. Almost skipped them this time, due to in 2020 there was a stranger there who didn't behave in the genuine manner that I am accustomed to from them, not sure who that man was (Only English-speaking), never saw him before and didn't see him this time. The shop has worked with me to save me money with their recommendations each time while providing excellent work. Two previous times I had stopped by for very minor things. This last visit I needed to get an estimate for substantiable damage sustained while my car was parked; more cosmetic than anything else. I cannot believe it...had to take in my 2nd car in for fixing. There was a hole on the side front driver side because I hit a homeless's cart (don't ask how lol)...I went in and they were book of all December. I couldn't believe it of how pack they were, but seeing that most people know this place...I'm shouldn't be surprise. Lol. But I was grateful that they were able to take my car in right away. Someone hit my parked car in the parking lot and messed up the bumper a little bit. Thankfully she left a note but now I had to find a body shop to take care of it. Kwan's had some really good reviews, I called him up to schedule an appt and he said just bring it down while they are open and he will take a look at it. He was really professional and quick. It took his estimated 3 days to fix my bumper and it is as good as new! They disinfected the steering and seats after cleaning it. He worked with the other person's insurance company to get the funds to pay for the repairs and the price I feel was reasonable. Martin and the people of Kwan's went above and beyond! I actually had 2 separate damages but it was an overlap of paint/labor. I went in thinking that I was about to pay up 2 deductibles which is like $1k and probably more with the overlap. But instead when I went to pick up the car I just made one deductible payment! Martin even told me that they replaced my whole bumper which I imagined was supposed to be hella expensive. I just wish I could do or show them more of how much I appreciate their work and for not charging me extra! My car was repaired overnight and looks really good! I was rear ended and paint was all scraped off my bumper.

I received many heartaches from being in accidents as well as getting my car hooked on a fence. So I was exiting a parking structure, and like a dumb @ss, I scrape my car along the wall. I've searched through yelp to see what were my options.
