I hired ABT Electric to replace two exterior GFCI plugs and repair the doorbell at my rental property. The technicians, Brett and Ethan, arrived on-time and were professional in appearance, attitude, and workmanship. They explained the issues clearly and in layman's terms so I knew exactly what work they were performing. The doorbell issue was slightly more complex than initially suspected. The first time I used them for installing all of my various Ring products which included them having to cut into my stucco and install flood lights. Did not have a good experience with this company. Came into my home and was unprofessional by talking smack about another electrician while on the job. May not have noticed that I was listening but nonetheless, should keep that type of chatter to themselves. In addition, the work was not done appropriately and I had to call another electrician in. Highly recommend ABT! I called about a GFI issue and they attempted to troubleshoot the issue over the phone. They promptly scheduled for the next day. Diagnosed the problem and replaced the outlet immediately. While they were here I had them install an LED fixture. All work done promptly and at a reasonable, fair cost. This is the second time we have had Scott/ABT Electric come out to do electrical work. This time, they hung a dining room pendant and an entry way pendant light, as well as put in 7 fire alarms, some with carbon monoxide alarms. Our recently purchased homes had very old ones in place, something that the home inspector failed to notice, but that Scott noticed right away. Scott explained that problem and remedied it, plus did a great job on the lights. Excellent work, good sense of humor, good value. read more

A.B.T. is a great company to work with! Scott is very responsive, concise, and a true trade professional. I had a hack job 220 run for a Jacuzzi that fried my old jacuzzi. With the new one, I wanted to be sure the same scenario did not happen. I called ABT, they scheduled me 2 days out to assess the run, they were on time, and put together a very competitive quote. Knowing that I am a DIY guy, Scott gave me an option to save some money by digging the trench. At that point, I had done so much digging last year, I paid the little extra. He was able to salvage some of the components of the hack job to save some $$$. He performed the job ahead of schedule! I was a little worried about how it fed into the Tub.
