Would highly recommend! Needed them to move an heavy antique China cabinet along with a few other items like a bench and garden statue. Only needed them for the 2 hour min and they quoted the best price which saved us over a $100. They offered reasonable warranty, and were very professional. Movers were on-time, courteous, and didn't start the clock til paperwork was filled out even though the other guy was already wrapping up the China cabinet. They worked quickly and nothing was scratched nor broken. No surprises... no additional fees.. didn't charge extra for stairs, etc. Turns out they finished well before the 2 hours was up and had no problem moving some furniture and boxes I had upstairs down to the garage. Must note that the company is actually a Christian rehabilitation program for men struggling with things like addiction and alcoholism. The 18 month program helps them to prepare to start over with a a chance at a better life by teaching life skills as well as counseling. I believe they team up so that there's always 1 person that's a mentor, although it's a good possibility that the mentors were once part of the program. When scheduled, you are asked to make sure that all medicines, alcohol, and weapons are properly locked up as a security precaution. I look at it as there is always a risk involved when you hire someone and these men have made it to the point they are considered trustworthy, yet they are still under the microscope more than a traditional mover so I felt comfortable using them. I needed a company to help move. I searched many and found A Better Way Movers. The low hourly rate caught my attention but It was the great reviews that made me schedule an appointment. On my scheduled move day A Better Way Movers called to confirm that I still needed them. When I told them yes, they showed up on time with a large truck and 3 young men. They introduced themselves as Anthony, Justin and Isaac. After being explained the procedure, insurance and their attentiveness to me furnishing, they began work. They moved quickly but carefully, wrapped items that needed protection, covered others and quickly and carefully disassembled beds, and other furnishings. All without damaging anything. They loaded the truck quickly, being mindful of time. When we got to the new destination they unloaded the truck with the same care and efficiency they used when loading. We could not recommend A Better Way Movers more. We needed to move on a specific day, and at first they were booked, but they were able to shift things around to make it work and fit us in. We have moved three times in five years, gaining one child and a whoooole lot of stuff per move. These guys moved us into our new house faster than any previous movers have. We were anticipating the move taking at least 7 hours, and they finished in less than 4.5. We had two large storage units filled to the brim, filling two 26 foot trucks. They loaded them up, drove to the new house, and unloaded everything into the correct rooms (3 story house). We got quotes from 5 different companies, and while they were one of the higher prices per hour, I am quite positive that nobody could have done it this quickly, resulting in a cheaper cost overall. All six of the men on our crew (Joel R, Geoffrey I, Chris M, Devin H, Jackson N, and Derrick M) were personable, professional, and kind. I just used A Better Way for a move yesterday (from an apartment to a townhouse) and I cannot recommend these guys enough! The three movers who handled my move, Ashton, Mickey, and Desmond, were fantastic - professional, congenial, fast, and efficient. We had to negotiate both a long narrow hallway on one end of the move and a complicated set of stairs on the other (not to mention furniture donations from both locations), and they handled it with no problem whatsoever. Not only were they great movers, but just really good guys, which makes such a difference in terms of the experience. We had Betterway move our furniture and other household boxed goods from Peachtree City to Senoia. They were very prompt and went through what was expected when they arrived. The men moving the items were very friendly and courteous, and were very careful moving them from the house and loading them into the trucks. Once we arrived at our new residence, they were equally as careful removing the items and locating them in the house where I requested. Again, they worked quickly, but were careful not to damage anything. The cost was very reasonable, and for the work done, well worth it. At the end of the job, one of the workers said a beautiful prayer blessing us and our house and thanking God for all of his blessings. I had will and Jeryas, do an after hours load of my pack rat container last evening, they came after they had completed several moves, and worked a full day because I really was up against a dead line and they agreed to help me out. they are two fine young men and worked another three hours, I never heard a disgruntled remark and I really doubted if they could get all the stuff in the container they kept working until it all fit. We had a great experience with A Better Way Movers. We moved about 80 miles from the south side of Atlanta to the north side. They were courteous, careful, and conscientious with our family, pets, and belongings. They even went the extra mile by helping repair a couple pieces of furniture that were damaged BEFORE the move. The day required two trucks and almost 14 hours from start to finish, but they never slowed down or gave out. They also took time to pray blessings over our family, home, and new job (the reason for the move) before they started their 1.5 hour drive back to Peachtree City at 11pm.
