About 3 months ago, I called them seeking repairs on my heat pump. I never talked with a real human being and was only able to leave them a voice message. Crickets, I never heard from them. Fast forward 3 months and my heat pump finally died, and I am in the process of getting bids to install a new system. It was a repeat of my first attempt to contact them, I never got a real person, but I did leave a voice message for them, again I left my name, number, and what I was trying to accomplish. Again, crickets. After 4 full days, 2 full business days (I called Friday morning and here we are after close of business the following Monday and still no call from them. Seeing how the heat pump is completely kaput, I cannot waste any more time waiting for them to reply. So yes, I will leave you alone now. After two ignored attempts at contacting you, you don't ever have to worry about me calling you again. I will ignore you now and I will tell others to do the same as well. He pretended he heard a hissing noise and he showed me a cap that did not belong to my unit saying that the refrigerant leaked out. He was sent to me - mandatorily, I did not ask for this vendor. He works with Fidel national home warranty - I was not informed the other vendors in the area. I had to have a second vendor come out - he opened another panel inside the garage unit, found a partial road sign stuck in there to literally slowdown refrigeration leak. I am speechless, dumbfounded, extremely disappointed that such flakes are employed. This vendor would not even recognize me the following day . He sounded drunk on the phone. My husband and I thought he was senile when he was diagnosing the system. He kept dropping his cell phone while he was trying to hold two wires together at at a time - apparently trying to measure electrical output, which he told me I had none -- but I do have 100% electrical output and the outdoor Carrier con unit is working just fine! Do not use this vendor unless you want to be sabotaged. Huge, enormous, very bad, horrible experience - you would do not want to repeat personal!

My house had been pretty warm but it looked like the thermostat said it was cooling. I called Mill Creek and they had a technician come out. Tim Wilson was great to work with. He diagnosed the problem after a leak check, checked their history on the heat pump, called the office for more info, and I was told I needed refrigerant and a new compressor. The company called the manufacturer and because it wasn't that old the compressor was provided to me at no cost, and also a discount on the refrigerant. The new part arrived a few days later, Tim showed up timely and obviously knew what he was doing. He installed things, double checked my thermostat, answered my questions and provided a written description of his work. However, the next morning the same problem occurred, and the house was again without heat. When I called to report the issue, my first call was routed to an answering service and I did not receive a return call. I called again and reached someone at the business. When I explained that the system was still not working and the person responsible for paying the bills was understandably upset, the woman who answered responded by saying, " That doesn't matter to me." I found this response dismissive and completely inappropriate, particularly given the amount of money we have spent with your company and the urgency of the heating issue. As a result of both the unresoved issues and this interaction, we will not be using Mill Creek again, nor recommending your services to others.

Darrin and Zach from DRS Air came out to replace a furnace in my house. Here's how it went…read more I have a Home Warranty, and had my furnace go out in early December. My Home Warranty company scheduled me with a large, Portland-based company, who has let me down time and time again over the years. Ultimately, that Portland-based company was unable to appropriately fix the furnace and also no-showed once, so I called my Home Warranty company and begged for a different company. The Home Warranty came through and they sent me to DRS Air. To my surprise, my Home Warranty company asked if I was free to have them come out within the hour, not weeks like the other company. I was free, so hell yeah! Zach, who lives locally to me, came right out and was VERY thorough, ultimately diagnosing the problem very quickly and also identifying some significant errors the Portland-based company had made. Zach and Darrin (The owner of DRS) worked direct with my warranty company and got them to buy off on replacing the entire furnace! Of course, there are some things the Warranty company won't cover, which is totally okay. My out of pocket ended up being about $960. Darrin and Zach came out a week or so later and worked hard to get my new furnace installed. On top of that, they identified MORE problems the Portland-based company had caused, including a gas leak, and fixed them free of charge. Then, they figured out the cost was cheaper than expected, and charged me $200 less than quoted. These guys are incredible. Not to mention, it's a VETERAN owned and operated company. So rest assured, the work is going to be thorough and they'll stand behind their work. My hat is off to these guys. So glad I got connected with them.
