I've an Frankenstein system that a large biz wouldn't even work on. Its older and CO safety was concern. Shawn used analysis equip to take close look at health of all of it including the heat exchange area. Super happy with AC police. I just moved here and my house was running warmer than I was setting my thermostat at. I had a response in under 20 mins from my first call for requesting service. They provide ongoing updates via text and are professional from start to finish. Shawn was my technician and was very thorough upon arrival to understand what I was experiencing and then addressing the issues in a timely manner. They were delayed by about an hour and called ahead of time to notify me so I can go run errands for the day before they got here. One nice perk was a free diagnostics check for locals and helped keep the cost reasonable. Excellent value for what I needed and very happy with the the process from start to finish. 2 techs came, 2 days after my original call. My AC was blowing cold but after awhile, it would freeze over. This place was recommended by a Veteran friend. Techs evaluated the AC handler and advised it would need to be moved to have easier access to clean coils. The Unit is 5 years old and summer months are just too hot for it to handle sometimes. The techs said it needed more coolant and if i wanted the coils cleaned, id have to setup another appointment. Within 24hrs the house stopped cooling completely. I had another company come out who told me the Excess refrigerant led to it completely shutting down and to contact the original company. I did and i was met with ZERO help. I texted and called the office number just to be hung up on and then a few hours later i got 10 calls from 2 different random numbers that i didnt answer and it was supposedly the office. So now im out even more money having to hire another company as an emergency visit. After speaking with the owner Shawn, i realized i was speaking with an ego, not a person. He told me, "Oh Well, you signed when you paid, we told you your coils were bent". LMAO they clearly wanted me to purchase a new system. The coils were warped a bit but there was zero interference with air flow. So a new company came out and ACTUALLY fixed my air conditioning instead of trying to make a buck because they were already there. Now im disputing the charges from AC police and im met with even more ego. As a daughter to a Veteran, a man that served as a Marine and fought in Viet Nam, the owner of this company is anything but a Veteran let alone a man. If you look at his other responses to reviews, you will see there is a big difference in how he replies to woman and men. They have been amazing keeping my ac unit working great. I first had them fix a plugged drain line. Very professional and thorough. I now have the maintenance plan and never worry about the clogs. My latest issue was a whistling sound, A/C Police sent Jean and he was a blessing, figured out the problem in a couple of minutes. This company is amazing the thing I love the most is this company is forward thinking with how they keep clients updated on the next steps and process. I absolutely love the system they use. The service was amazing I was able to speak to Shawn and make an appointment for an air handler freezing over after getting Freon added in by another company last month. They came out and RJ (Raul) did a leak test which confirmed a leak on the outside condenser. They quoted me a price but the thing I like the most is they took into consideration that I had a new born baby in the home and they moved even quicker to get the job done.
