She really wanted an Alfa Romeo, and this dealership had a car with everything she wanted. First off, the staff was nice, but the saleswoman (Yaeli) was grossly misinformed about the selling process, and she didn't know what she was doing. The finance manager (Steven) helped her out and he was lovely, admittedly. He did his best to help her with the sale, but she messed up so many times that were just ready to get out of there. She tried to drill, yes DRILL, holes in my wife's bumper to add a license place holder. I had to tell her that the car provided a space for that, so she backed off. Another problem was that my wife's DNA system NEVER worked. It was reported to them before we left the lot. Yaeli told us that the part would be ordered, and this problem would be fixed. It's been over 6 months and they have not fixed the DNA knob, in fact, my wife was told that they didn't even order the part. They sold my wife this car and then completely forgot about us. If it were me, I probably would ignore it, but I have to hear about this almost daily. To add a little insult to injury, her electrical system is faulty, and her Bluetooth disconnects all the time. I had to convince her to pick her battles and only focus on the DNA problem for now. The saleswoman (Yaeli) is no longer with the dealership (no surprise at all). I will be looking to change my original review I made with this dealership and will report them to the BBB. After almost losing her life and being thankful she had a reliable car, my wife no has to deal with a car that has problems, and the dealership has done nothing to make this right. DO NOT BUY YOUR CARS WITH ALFA ROMEO OF NAPERVILLE.

To begin, I bought this car brand new at Toyota of Elgin, but every time I go in for a simple…read moreservice, they give me a dozen things it does not need and make it imperative that I have them done asap plus do not check for what I want done. And, the service check takes forever (think 2 hours on a Saturday): 1. New tires (I went elsewhere for half the price, but that place told me i had at least another year on the old ones, so I was switching them out early) $2500 at Toyota ($1130 for four locally, better brand, original equipment). 2. Brakes: they did not check them even though they said they would. Instead tried to sell me a front caliper cleaning $117, rear caliper $117 nope. What I did need was the supposedly free brake check that they "forgot" to do. At local shop, told I have 80% wear left. Free check. 3. Rodent Deterrent -$303 nope don't need that. I use bait boxes in garage. 4. A/C Heater Cleaning $205 nope, don't need that 5. Fuel Induction Clean $299 nope, don't need that 6. Wheel Alignment $159 nope, don't need that 7. PCV Valve Replacement $142 huh? 8. Brake Fluid Exchange $267 yes, local shop said I could use that but they charge $140 9. New rim (it's a large scratch, who cares) $994 So, I came in for a brake check that they forgot to do, windshield wipers, and a tire check, and they wanted to charge me $4143, but I got out for $77 for the wipers and what they termed a "basic car check" that does not include checking brake pads. Who can afford this larceny? And, how can a "basic car check" not include the size of the brake pad remaining? My car has 35K miles on it now (it had 33467 at the time of the Toyota basic car heck). Guess where I'm not going back to today, now that my car keeps saying I need the oil changed? And, how do I need the oil changed when it's only been 2000 miles. I'm guessing that's because it's been 6 months. So okay, that's fine, I had it done locally for $95.00 and $38 to rotate my almost brand new tires. At least Pinnacle will do the brake check for FREE. Note that terribly damaged (not) rim in the photo on back tire. If you buy a Toyota, do not have it serviced at Toyota of Naperville, unless you like throwing cash out the window.

The issue with my vehicle was clearly know and they just cleared the check engine light before putting it on the sales lot.

Somehow the dealership can sell the vehicle I sold them in @ a week's time but can't pay me what is owed because they are waiting on paperwork. They somehow are worried that I can come back and claim the truck is still mine or there might be a title issue. Even though I'm sure a title check was completed and payoff was confirmed. But none of those issues hindered them from immediately selling the vehicle. The best part is no one returns phone calls. I went into the dealership two days ago and of course the manger was not in. I was told "Someone will call you back today." Three days later no call back. They will happily take your money. Don't expect any follow up from them afterwords.
