    Punctured tire

    We have been a customer at Woodfield Nissan since 2010, when we purchased a vehicle for my mother. We were so happy with the experience that both my brother and I also purchased cars from this shop in 2012 and 2013, respectively. We have been servicing our vehicle at Woodfield Nissan the entire time and received honorable service from the service department. This is not the case anymore. On August 10 of 2024, I went in for a regular oil change. After the oil change, I had a service engine now light on the car. The service advisor made no mention of it. I noticed the light after I got home. I didn't have the time to take it back as I was going out of the country that week, so chalked it up as something that I needed to address when I got back. A week later, Woodfield Nissan sent me a survey asking to rate my satisfaction, and in the survey I mentioned that the service was not the greatest because I had a check engine now light after the oil change. The service manager contacted me and said that I should bring my car in again and they would inspect it at no cost. I told the service manager that I was out of the country and I would come back after I returned home. On September 9th, I took my car in to diagnose the issue, and after the service was complete, I drove about 2 mins and noticed that my check tire sign was on. I turned around and took the car back right away to the Nissan shop and did a visual inspection to find that a wood stake was hammered into my passenger rear tire. It was on the side of the tire, at an angle, and in my opinion, there is a very low chance that this could've happened organically, unless I hit a side walk (which I did not). I did not wood stakes in the their parking lot, and I barely left their premises. The location of the stake also made it so that I would have to replace the tire. Wood Nissan took the position that this happened on the road so they would not cover the cost of the replacement. The service manager said that he wanted to keep the damaged tire overnight to see what he can do. I agreed to his request because he committed to calling me back the next day. I waited for his call till 2 PM, and finally called myself, only to find out that the service manager was not in that day and I had to call back the following day. I was driving around to appointments with a spare, and couldn't put a new tire on for 2 days, as they had my wheel. It doesn't smell right that this happened right after I provided negative feedback about the advisor, and it was the same advisor that checked me out the second visit. It also is very unprofessional of the service manager to commit to something when he was not going to be in the shop. I could've had a blowout or could've gotten hurt. Overall, they lost a loyal customer, and I hope they have a plan to address gaps in their customer service so that they don't lose more.

    Still no one from the dealership has fully reached out to resolve this issue. It only got as far as a receptionist calling us saying the GM would be notified a day would call us. Of course he never did. They are obviously too busy to take care of customers after they sign.

    I was happy to get the 8 am appt, but it's first come first served anyway, I'll report the total time once they're done...

    Avoid buying a car here. We are currently Nissan a car from them and it's a waste of time every time we have to come for regular scheduled service. It's a joke to get an appt time because they don't care they just go buy first come first served, so it doesn't matter how small the service is, always takes over two hours because they move people ahead of you. The personnel is not friendly or professional, expect to be bounce around on the phone if you have any issue. Last time we came for service, they forgot to put the passenger mat in the car, when I called to let her know, they said someone would drop it off, two weeks later nothing, I asked for the mat to be shipped but they refused again said the manager would drop it off. Three weeks later the mat was in the front door, no apologies or call back from anyone. You are better off buying a car from a different dealership or from a different brand, too late now for us, next car we are going to Toyota. Hope this helps

    1 star is actually too good for this place and the people that work there. Just a bunch of amateurs running a shit place in which engines and transmissions are laying around in mud, cars are on top of each other, doors are piled up full of scratches. Not to mention coming from far and they telling you that parts are available and in good condition and when you there they say to you that they are not available. Upon I insisted to double check they said they have the car with the parts I needed and to go and check the condition before I make a decision. Well decision was pretty easy: they were super damaged and not in the condition I was told they are Please avoid at any cost that place. Will save your time, money and stress.

    I purchased an engine from Global Auto recycling. The Engine had internal issues and requested a…read morereplacement. Replacement engine also had internal issues. Contacted Global Auto and staff gave me the run around. I ask to speak to Joe, and he denied the issues with the engines. I observed that he has the engines in the open not protected from the elements. I elected to purchase the engine else ware and requested my money back. Joe said no money back just credit. Joe is a Lier and a cheat and should not be trusted. He is selling damaged parts to the public and then does not honor his own policies of giving a refund. I will be contacting the attorney general about his business practices. He is a thief.

    So I listen to the Yelp reviews and came here... absolutely best decision I made…read more There are a ton of companies that provide spray in liner's closer to the house but this one had a reputation and the reviews that made it 45 minute drive worth it. They just don't do spray in bedliner's they also do accessories and a ton of other services I was able to find out a few other things I'd like to do to the truck going back in spring time for the under coding and adding step rails and a few other things. If you're looking for a ways to get good work done at a reasonable price by competent people this is your place.

    Line-X Linings - Roselle, Illinois ... 4 stars: When it comes to spray-in bed liners for pickup…read moretrucks, there are really only two major operators ... Rhino Linings and Line-X Linings. In my last pickup I used Rhino Linings and was happy with the result. For my new pickup I thought I would investigate the market further ... and that is how I got to Line-X Linings. When shopping it is always interesting to see how telephone questions generate interest. Bed linings are somewhat of a fill-in business for most applicators ... they are all franchisees and do the work generally as part of another operation - meaning sometimes they don't pay much attention. So I started calling around on Rhino and Line-X. For three different calls, no one answered the telephone ... all I got was an answering service - this always makes me feel that it is a one-man operation. But for Line-X Linings of Roselle (they just moved here from Bartlett) there was an actual human being who answered the telephone. I called twice, and two different people (Steve and Sam) answered - so I had found a business that did pickup bed linings as more than a sideline. I decided to go with the Roselle operation of Line-X. First of all they asked questions when I called ... they quoted a price but not a general one-price-fits-all number. They asked if I wanted the lining over or under the rails ... which changes they price. They also quoted an out-the-door price that seemed reasonable. So I booked a time slot to have the work done. They produced what they promised and on time. I will update later as to how the lining holds up ... but the Line-X people at Roselle were very good to work with. Recommended thus far.
