Contacted for a Chimney rebuild on a 40 year old house. Estimator was efficient and detailed…read more Made great effort to match 40 year old brick. Crew arrived with brick as scheduled. They immediately set to work and protected area around chimney with tarps to protect shrubs and collect debris. Quickly set up scaffolding and proceeded to demolish top 8 ft of old chimney. They collected and hauled away all debris from this! Next, they set up their corner guides from base of old chimney and proceeded to neatly rebuild the chimney. Again they collected all debris and hauled it away with them. Per my request they had salvaged several brick to use to repair a windowsill on front of house thereby guaranteeing an exact match to existing brick. They did an overall excellent job in about 5 hours flat.

The entire process of working with Home Depot was an absolute nightmare from the beginning. Once we FINALLY got our cabinets installed, we had their countertop people come in and measure. At that time, they said it would be 2-3 weeks max. After the 2 weeks had passed, I called the company to see when they would be scheduling the installation and was told that they did not know when we would get our countertops as the stone was still sitting on a boat. No ETA, no "I'm Sorry's" just miserable customer service. This is at the end of Nov. The process started with Home Depot in Aug. They ruined my Thanksgiving holiday and were about to ruin my Christmas holiday. I called them to tell them I wanted a refund on my countertops and that I would find another company to install them. They told me no one would have it or get it installed in time, but I could do it if I wanted. Well, I was referred to Preferred Marble and Granite and from the date of my call to instillation it was less than 1 week...AND....it was cheaper. They did a superb job with measuring, cutting and installing my countertops. I cannot recommend them enough. For any project you need done, I cannot urge you enough to work with them. They are fantastic, starting with customer service and ordering all the way through the follow-up of the finished result. You cannot go wrong with them.

One guy couldnt figure out the problem, then owner came out several times and finally took part of FP apart, found that they didnt build it correctly, workerss forgot to install a baffle inside the exhaust. They never pulled permits with city, remove a gas shut off valve, when house was built, said we didnt need it anymore. What! It took over 3 months to complet the project, neighbors even ask why took so long!
