I never understood the reality of how this person was approved to be matched. We were not protected in the slightest. A Place To Call Home is the worst of all the foster/adoption agencies. They serve both Metro…read morePhoenix and Tucson with offices in both places. Turnover of staff is extremely high and employees average age is under 25, average tenure 6 months or less. The are highly unprofessional and do not honor interagency agreements for mandatory training. They also require prospective foster parents to sign a one year contract which is not allowed by Child Protective Services. They will tell you things that are not true, probably not lies, but out of lack of knowledge, education, experience, and training. If you want to be a foster parent or adoptive parent or take disabled adults into your home you should look for a different agency.
