This shop is a cross between an 'Estate Sales' business and a 'Good Will' shop. Some of the items are very high quality (Waterford glassware) other items are more mundane (common glass pitcher). Definitely a come often and see what they have sort of business. One big, open floor organized by type. Bathroom items together, chairs/lamps/coffee tables near each other and so on. There were some brand new, never used, 30" bathroom vanities with marble tops, two larger vanity tops only - also marble, a couple of medicine cabinets, lots of doors both inside and out, attic vents for the exterior, tiles, so many chairs from waiting room to living room. Beds, electric stoves, carpet squares, office chairs, lots of lovely curio cabinets, desks, some artwork, mirrors, and plenty of lamps, some books, and a little bit of kitchen ware. Remember to look up! There are a lot of ceiling lights suspended from pipes running overhead. The prices here are excellent. I'm a big advocate of reduce, reuse, recycle and this is a good location to find household items, some used, some new and your purchase supports the Habitat for Humanity mission. Win-win! read more

I have been kicking myself for not having any idea the ReStore store has been so close to me for a while now. I purchased my house in 2016, this store would have saved me so much money, I had no idea what it was, or had any interest in it. When I would drive by, I thought it was a storage facility. I didn't think twice about putting it into Google, Yelp or going inside to see what it was. My friend pointed it out to me the other day, and said we have to go there. Ohhmyygoodness this is a MUST stop if you are moving into a new apartment or house. They have furniture galore. They have dining tables and chairs, desks, lamps and chandeliers, framed artwork and mirrors, and so much more. New inventory is constantly coming in. Everything is so much less expensive than any furniture store, even less expensive than Ikea, yet the quality is there. I got this very cute painting of a lighthouse in a beautiful white wood frame for $5. I also got a pouf for sitting for only $15. I have been looking for one of these for a while, they are super expensive, the one that matches my couch was $200. This one is black and white, pretty neutral, looks great and is such a bargain. If you need anything new for your home, please stop by here first. There is no way you'll walk out empty handed. read more

We are in the process of moving and I have become a frequent donor. When I stopped to donate again a couple of days ago, two of the guys recognized me and greeted me with a very welcoming smile. They are very friendly and helpful. I give then 5 stars!!!! read more

All is hit or miss based on donations, but overall, if they have what you're looking for, it can be a great find at reasonable cost

Take your typical Goodwill store less the clothing, add a boatload of furniture, add some sinks, kitchen counters, fireplace mantels, plus chandeliers and light fixtures, and what do you have? How about a Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Its large with a tremendous selection of new and gently used stuff of all descriptions. I saw dishes, K Cup racks, dressers, high chairs, wall paintings, boxes of screws, antique tools, magnetic canisters, books. The list goes on forever. It has a flea market feel to it. You will have a blast wandering through the far corners of the store and discovering the diverse treasures within. read more

Really amazing, i think most of the ReStore stores get a bad rap but this one is truly amazing and has such a great selection that you will not be disappointed. Great finds, great items, take your time in looking at things but you can come up with some great great prices on things if you need them, cabinets, windows, doors, all great prices and great items, definitely worth the drive if you live in New England . read more

I don't even know how to accurately express how wonderful my husband and I find this place. We discovered it in the past month and have already had the most amazing finds. It started with a steamer trunk, then we bought an entire BAR with shelf and soffit!, a rocking chair, a cool wine rack and then a Pottery Barn Kids bunk bed shaped like a house! The deals on all of them were amazing, too! For example, Pottery Barn Kids still carries the bunk beds. It is on sale there for $1,200 right now. We got it in mint condition for $350 from the ReStore in Bloomfield! Good things go super fast. Right now they have a ton of brand new furniture from Ashley Furniture there. Mainly couches, but some table, too. I should also mention, they also have a lot of stuff for contractors. Tiles, appliances, and right now they have like 400 brand new toilets you can buy. The staff is also fantastic. Most of them are volunteers and really helpful. They helped us load things in and out of our truck and are nice to our kids. Finally, all money goes to the local Habitat for Humanity branch! So to recap: 1. AMAZING items! 2. Super DEALS! 3. Really wonderful STAFF & VOLUNTEERS! 4. All money goes to CHARITY! Great finds here for your Home on a budget! Even bigger plus is its for charity! Restore is like a thrift store, but for larger items and appliances. This location particularly has had lots of dining sets and entertainment centers every time I've gone. I got a TV stand here that I love for only $40! They also have tons of light fixtures - don't forget to look up because lots of them are hanging around the store. They get brand new items sometimes like cutting boards, cheese boards, children rocking chairs and desks, etc. There are also some great random finds like a Delta shaper, granite countertops, and even full kitchen cabinet sets. Like a thrift store, this is not a one time visit place. To truly find good deals and things you like, you need to be patient and visit frequently. Great items go quick! Two reviews: one for my volunteer activity and the other for the store Volunteering was awesome. Matt coordinated our activities and made the experience one that I will repeat. The staff including Wilfredo was friendly and helpful and knowing that our efforts have a positive downstream effect on our community was personally gratifying. Now about the shopping.... First, the store smells like a retail store. There was **no** mildew, grandma's basement odor. Items are reasonably priced and there is name brand furniture like Thomasville. I loved the building supplies in modern colors and applications. For example, Daltile brand mosaic tile and cans of chalk paint. Know a bride with a rustic theme? There was a crazy inventory of Mason jars with and without the cutest glass lids. It almost makes me want to rehab a house or actually do something on one of my Pinterest boards. read more

If you need furniture, building supplies or hardware try these guys first. The prices are better and they get both used and brand new merchandise. Lamps, chairs, tables, wall art etc. Their supply of dishes and such is smaller and haphazard, but antique furniture turns up at knockdown prices. Plus the service is great - lots of help around when you need it. The major bonus is it helps a good charity. read more

Wow! I'm impressed how discriminative they are towards children. I'm a stay at home mom (no nanny, no grandma) I obviously can't leave baby at home alone. I was at the store looking for a bargain, my child is soon to grow out of crib, we need bed for her. A woman who's working there came up to me, as we just about to leave, said:" we don't allow children in here, I guess you've been here for a while, but we don't allow kids in here". I've been here a few times upon recommendation of my mail person when she knew I was looking for inexpensive furniture for our new home. I'd driven by it a few times but never bothered to stop. Super glad I did! Depending on the day/week determines what you'll find, but they seem to get a lot of decent and good quality items from local families and from companies. Items include furniture (couches, bed frames, end tables, coffee tables), household goods (smaller selection of kitchen plates, silverware, vases), and household gadgets (new drawer pulls, door stops, used lighting fixtures). They also some other supplies for the more intense home DIYer (granite slabs, used sinks, kitchen cabinets, kitchen appliances). There's also a small section of new items such as keurig k cup holders and other storage for the home. Would certainly recommend a trip if you're in the market for a DIY or picked furniture project. Best of all, proceeds go towards the local habitat of humanity initiatives in the area! read more
