Had a sliding bedroom window that wouldn't open - my teen had broken it going out the window to sit on the roof to smoke :-( Arturo came out to look at it. Within 30 seconds, he said he could see where the internal latching part of the window lock was broken. I'm in an older home and the manufacturer of the window/lock was not available on the windows. Arturo took a picture of the lock and went to the local hardware store and found a replacement lock. He only wanted to charge me $5 as he said he only paid $3 something for the latch. Exceptional customer service! I called to inquire about replacing the glass in a broken window, I called and explained the issue to the gentleman. He referred me to a glass shop near my house and said it was the most economical fix (I had already removed the window frame myself). He said I need to wait 1 week as they were very busy. We scheduled Thursday at 6.30pm to install the screens and they did not show up again. I called and left Daniel a voicemail. He did not return my call even after the next day. Maybe due to good Yelp review, they don't really want any business less than $300. I thought if this turns out well, I can refer them to my neighbours next door who intend to change all their single-pane windows. Anyway, I am too optimistic. I had recently called AD Window to get an estimate on a broken window of a home which I sold to my clients. I didn't know who to used so I turned to Yelp. I called several places but AD Window was quick to respond. They came out as scheduled to look at the broken glass in the bathroom. Great company by a couple of local guys who are really proud of being able to take care of their customers, very competitive price , just amazing services ! 80% of the windows in my new house have leaking or foggy glasses, one of the window were held by duct tape. After quoting a few places and check yelp reviews, I contacted A&D Window services. Alvaro came over to carefully check all my windows, gave candid review on which one can last a bit longer, and which one need to be addressed now. He provided quote within a day and the price was very good. He and his partners Daniel and the crews did a great job of replacing all damaged windows. The jobs were done crispy clean. One of the window need to be fully replaced. During the process, Alvaro noticed that window frame has become iffy due to the extended exposure to the element. He scheduled a follow up appointment, send a guy came back to install new window frames for me, without extra charge. All because he wanted to get the job done right . Called on a Saturday afternoon for a broken window glass. Glass from one out of the 4 frames broke accidentally while moving stuff. Got a quick quote and availability updates over Text message. We called Alvaro to help us fix our old window that would no longer close all the way. He was able to respond right away and he exceeded our expectations with how quickly he was able to come to our house. He was punctual, and extremely friendly. AD Windows did a good job with my broken dual-pane window. I had a "divided lights" window with window panes, and other top-rated window repair shops would not touch it. AD gave me an estimate, ordered the glass, and came on the scheduled day at the scheduled time and fixed the window. Good job cleaning up the job site and good work on the window -- like new. The only gotcha was that they forgot about my repair while they were waiting for the low-E glass to come in. When I reminded them, they got right to it. read more

Ten years after installation of our frameless shower door, the door started to sag and was hitting the fixed pain of glass. Not wanting to try to fix myself and risk further damage or death by glass, I used yelp to find A D Windows based on other people's experience. I called and explained my issue and scheduled an appointment. Daniel came by and quoted a very fair price to repair the door and after 30mins it was back functioning like new, he even tightened up the handle and fitted a rubber spacer included in the cost. We started our window retrofit search back in April, after dragging a few months through summer we finally chose AD Windows. Alvaro and Daniel were just phenomenal people, super professional and nice. We did 38 windows for retrofit and 1 kitchen bay window as new construction. These guys are very fair in pricing and they even went above and beyond to do extra work without charging us more as they thought it was the right thing to do. The crazy part is that for the kitchen bay window we purchased a piece of granite slab that we believe was the best match to existing piece, and when it was time to install they told us the piece we bought was not really matching what we have and suggested another one, and they spent a day going to Hayward to run through various granite pieces (and texted us pictures since neither my wife and I were able to go with them), we landed on a much better piece of granite, and for all these extra work "they caused" for themselves they didn't complain or charge us, to me that is what i would call "true care about their customers" as they knew once this is installed we would be looking at it for years to come, so they felt it is the right thing to go extra steps to make it work for us. Across the 38 windows and this new kitchen bay window, we are very happy with the quality of the installations. On top of all that, after we paid everything, I reached out to them asking if they can help me pick up the original granite slab to return it, they came and did it. I don't know what else I can say about how much we appreciate Alvaro and Daniel. We highly recommend them to anyone giving these guys a chance at least as you look at potential window installation options. read more

I did not hear from him and so I called several days later. I was told they had to contact a window company and they would get back to me. A week later I called again because I had not heard from them. I left a message, but no response. Several days later I called again and left a message to please call me, no response from them. Called again and left a message, no response again. So two weeks later no response from them. If you want a broken window repaired DON'T call this company! read more

Window at office needs replacement. Found AD window services on yelp. Notice broken window at 6 AM. AD window opens at 7 AM. Call at 7 AM thinking nobody would answer but I am wrong. Cheney answers the phone to my surprise. He understands the importance of getting the window boarded up ASAP for safety. 30-45 minutes later Daniel shows up. Daniel has been great, he is nice and presentable. Daniel left and about 1 hr later he is back boarding up the window, which is done excellently. This is weird but this is where Daniel shows his customer service again. The next day someone came took down the boarding then put it back up. I asked the staff what happened. They did not know because they were busy working. Staff looks at boarding and it is nowhere close to how Daniel put it up the first time . I called Daniel at 5:45 PM and explained the poor quality of work on the boarding. He says no one from his office went to our office that day and the description of the men who did the work don't work for AD window. At that point it makes sense, the guys who took down the boards were at the wrong office. Daniel says he will stop by our office to look at the window and secure it more. Around 9 PM Daniel texted us that he secured the boarding that the other company did. THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE. The glass is on order and should be here soon. A D window has been great working with so far and will definitely use them again. read more
