This place was okay. I understand that CB has limited restaurants and I was excited for a smoothie. The smoothie definitely was okay, at best for $11. It was thin and the flavor was okay. There were minimal add in options. The other thing that I was not a fan of was that many of the smoothies had juice as an ingredient. I like smoothies made with Whole Foods. Preferably the whole fruit versus juice then you're losing the fiber. They do not have a vegan protein add in option. The menu in the location had less than was shown online. We were all looking forward to a bowl and they no longer make those. I got the black bean burger sandwich. It was just a frozen black bean burger, not made in house. It was a sufficient meal but nothing I'd repeat.

Honeycutt Sandwich. Turkey, cream cheese, greens and cranberry sauce. Delicious!

Right on Elk Ave, A Daily Dose offers a small but choice selection of sandwiches and breakfast options, a salad, as well as smoothies and coffees. Local and organic when they can be, the place has a laidback, hippie vibe and I mean that in the best possible way. I had the Honeycutt sandwich and it was terrific. My partner has the grilled cheese with tomato pesto and pronounced it "crispy and cheesy, as promised. The pesto added good flavor and a nice tang." A small amount of outdoor seating in front of the restaurant allows for excellent people watching. Service was quick and friendly. Only point off was that both our sandwiches were supposed to come on sourdough bread, but they were out and substituted rye instead. Not a catastrophe but not the same as a good sourdough.

Great spot on the main area of Crested Butte! It is so cozy especially during the time we went in winter with it snowing. The service is friendly & quick. The coffee and smoothie is so good! Great gluten free options too.

Staycations are fun for those long weekends. Introduced Adam D to Crested Butte. Of course part of that is to know where coffee shops are. Cos this guy loves coffee and if he doesn't need water to survive I don't think he will even bother. off season. Best way to introduce someone. Barely anybody there but you can show them places where they should be paying attention to during peak season. So the Daily Dose is open and is the cutest coffee shop! Strong coffee and a nice warm place for those caffeine dependent humans. Fast service.

Located in the charming mountain town of Crested Butte, Colorado. We went to get a cold sandwiches that were a true delight. Specializing in delicious smoothies and sandwiches, A Daily Dose offers a refreshing and satisfying meal. CanNOT say enough good things about this cute little place. My mom and I were about to leave town but wanted smoothies so we stopped in. Very cute and cozy inside. Love the vibe here, it's very relaxed and unpretentious. I wish I would have gotten the tall guy's name who helped us at the main counter. He was not only hilarious but we had a nice chat as well about Crested Butte and the seasons. My mom and I both got smoothies that were honestly...incredible. I don't think I've ever used that word when talking about a smoothie but yeh it was just downright delicious. I wish it wasn't a four hour drive from me...I'd be here every week! We also had a pastry that was good as well, so yeh....definitely will come back when in town again. :)

Attentive service kept the meal flowing. We started with Camp 4 Coffee as both a drip and espresso and could not have had a better way to start breakfast. Or so we thought. We saw several of the other tables having the Bloody Mary and we jumped in head first - Paradise's Bloody was the perfect eye opener for a day on the slopes. We ordered the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and the #4 which is two eggs, hot Polish sausage and a pancake (served with optional REAL maple syrup - frankly, faux maple syrup is an abomination that needs to be banned in all 50 states!) The dishes were delicious, portions were generous, and we could not have been more pleased . Next time we will try the Huevos Rancheros which neighboring tables were tucking into with great abandon. We are regulars at McGills but are very pleased to have discovered Paradise which is now part of our breakfast rotation in Crested Butte.

Fearful of what I might find here, as small, resort locales often possess oligopolistic control…read moreover pricing and quality, I ventured through the door at McGill's, a local staple, and ordered the Great American breakfast. The quality of ingredients and preparation were all spot on. Bacon was triple crispy as I requested. Hash browns were made with butter, as I insisted. Eggs were cooked perfectly, neither rubbery nor slimy. Magnificent was the French toast. Served as something resembling a German log roll, it was crispy on the outside, tasty throughout, and yet remained free from being bread-y. I savored every bite of this, a real highlight. You can substitute this for the muffin for a $2 fee or thereabouts. Do that, and you won't be disappointed. Two areas that could be improved: the pancake syrup, and while it tasted fine, was definitely corn syrup based and low quality. I humbly think that the owner could easily charge $1.75 more and offer the real thing. Further, the orange juice wasn't great, acceptable, but far from a real fresh squeezed caliber. The hostess forced me to sit at the bar when tables were open. Fortunately for me, a spectacularly responsive and friendly other server rescued me, provided me a table and provided the utmost in service for a breakfast styled establishment of this ilk. She was also food knowledgeable as her husband and her own one of the truly great restaurants in town, further down the street on Elk Avenue. Pricing was just right. Location is fantastic as well. I plan to return, but may bring my own syrup and orange juice. Thumbs up for McGill's.

I was already debating the Philly or the shrimp poboy depending on what they had and it turned out to be the poboy. Order didn't take long and then my huge sandwich arrived. It came with a small bag of chips, but the sandwich itself is huge and loaded. The sandwich is on a soft hogie rather than the traditional french type of bread, but it's delicious and fresh . The shrimp (plump, perfectly cooked and plenty) is in a kind of dark cajun remoulade mixed with bacon and sauteed onions with multi colored bell peppers. Oh, and it has lettuce so you don't feel bad about eating it all in one sitting! :) Overall, I loved it! Bursting with flavor in every bite! Felt more like a Cajun shrimp Philly minus the cheese. Only if I was to be the one to name it of course! There is no such thing as a shrimp Philly though...yet! Oh, and ask for a fork or to have them cut it in half or you will be using way more napkins than necessary! ;-) Met Kevin, ones of the owners and he was very nice and easy to talk to. Nice place to stop if you are passing through or if you are a local, what are you waiting for!?
