Wine and Spirits in Mammoth? Look no further than A-Frame Liquor! Hands-down the most thoughtful liquor store/WineShop in Inyo County. *Beer *Wine *Spirits (Tequila, Vodka, Whiskey, Rum, etc) *Snacks *Cigarettes *Scratcher Cards Basically everything you need to throw a party. Mitch, the resident wine curator, and enthusiast was quick to help us with suggestions on which champagne to bring to the party. We ended up using the "Mitch Scale" to chose a few bottles of red and a beautiful Ayala Sparkling Rose to add to our champagne menu for NYE. Best prices I've found in town when compared to the two other spots I visited. Ultimately, this place has the best friendly and helpful staff, diverse selection, and an unpretentious approach to wine and liquor in town. A-frame is your one-stop-shop for everything necessary to satisfy your group apres-ski and beyond.

Awesome liquor stop. They carried all the good high end stuff and much better prices then in the village. Only a a half mile away.

What a disappointment to come to this store while visiting the area! The meat department is foul,…read moreselling old meat. Some meat to the point of gas release and slime? This is a public safety risk. This is no longer meat that should be sold, and should be in the garbage. Then what is the deal with no cases of water? Are cases of water not drank in this town? We needed some fruit, and vegetables. We were able to scrape up some produce. Was not the easiest because things were not getting replenished. Many holes on the shelves. We saw employees having a good time bs'ing. No manager around, Supervisor....not for me...for the employees who are messing around! Place is a hot mess, and in need of health department inspection.

Two trips in two days and both cashiers were about as friendly as a pet rock. Last night's guy had the shakes. Today's lady only said "would you like your receipt." The self-bagging idea is good. At least you can pack your items as you want. But. Maybe. If there was a courtesy clerk who would do it for you. Elderly couple in front of me did their own cart. Meanwhile, three associates (maybe even a manager) were living their best life near the courtesy desk. During rush hour, staff should be ready to help. Other reviews say every check stand is open. Today. Maybe 50%. Self checkout is usually a good bet, but when the line is turned and backed to past the ice cream aisle, you know it's slow going. At least the store does a great job of living up to "mountain time."
