He misspelled one of our names and put the wrong address on our tax return, basic information that should absolutely be correct. When we asked to sit down with him for a few minutes to review everything and make sure it was accurate, he flat-out refused and became immediately nasty. At that point, we asked for our check back so we could have our taxes done elsewhere by someone who would actually give us the time of day. He told us he had already cashed it, so we asked him to write us a check. He did but then, as he was handing it to us, he pulled it back to make a copy. He then handed us the copy and sarcastically asked why we would need a copy of a check. When we said because he handed it to us, he responded, "Yeah, because I wanted to see how little you pay attention." It only got worse. He told us the only reason he agreed to do our taxes was because of who our family is, and that we couldn't possibly be related to them because we are "too stupid." When we reminded him that we were there because he made mistakes and that he should be apologizing instead of belittling us, he said "I don't apologize". Completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable behavior, especially from someone handling something as important as your taxes. There is a reason this firm has so many one-star reviews. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

She did not inform me of NJ domestic partnerships or other tax-savings strategies for my future RMD's. I learned more from the WSJ. At the time, I asked what this firm charged for an uncomplicated tax return which for me involved cd bank interest and stock dividends, pension, social security, property taxes paid on my house. The charge quote then was $800 for a simple return. My CPA then and now charge less than half that amount. My boyfriend lived next door to this company. As we sold his home I can now be honest about my personal unimpressive experience.

And was going to be charged an overall price of 250 dollars that I would've had to pay him cash up frontif I actually got my taxes done here. Update- This guy is worse than I thought. He said doing his best, He could get me the maximum of 700 dollars. I choose to do it myself and turned out I got well over 1,000. Do not waste your time or money.
