I got to say im a little upset with "Junk King." They charged me $428 for removing bags with leaves and some branches. It took 15 minutes for them to do... It was an easy job with nothing heavy. The guy said that the receipt would be made out for $328 and they were keeping $100 for themselves. But, they took off without giving me a receipt. When I called "Junk King" the woman on the phone said that my bill was $228 and she would send a receipt via email. When I told her they charged me $428 cash she said she would "call me back," which she never did. Instead I got an email with the receipt readjusted to $428. They blatantly lied to me. Basically, I was robbed! If I hadn't been desperate to get these things off my property (and hung over) I would have said no. Lesson learned and shame on "Junk King!" read more

Called in and ask for the prices and they gave me 550$ for 3 tons plus an additional 90 dollars for every extra ton which was a little bit pricey( I later found another one for 800$ and 10 tons). Today they were picking it up and said it's 2 tons and anything more you have to pay for, but the driver said I don't think it's more than 2 tons and we don't want to argue with you, if it is up to 3 tons we don't charge you extra! 30 minutes later they charge us an extra 90$ meaning that the waste was almost 4 tons, 2 tons more than the driver thought it was!!!!! If you want a good reputation, be honest with the customers. Is this the way to do business? It seems that it doesn't matter how much the waste weighs when you give it to them, they will probably overcharge you anyway. read more

I scheduled junk removal after finding out that I can't leave so much junk furniture on the sidewalk for bulky item pick up. I requested the full truck load which couldn't fill all of my items but I was still happy that they tried their best to fill more inside the truck by breaking apart some of the large furniture. I decided to surprise my husband by cleaning up a particularly, disastrous area in our backyard while he was away on vacation. It was a "nook" (hoarders paradise) located behind the house hidden by a gated door which made it the perfect place to throw everything that had no place. I had the city bring out a temporary bin and I started work on Saturday....by Sunday I was nowhere near done....I mean I was "done"....but the trash was still there, staring me down through sweat stained eyes. By Sunday night I knew I was in trouble. I sent an email to Junk Free Planet and the next day got a call back from Pernell. I explained my situation (I gave up) and he asked if he could come out in the next hour. What??? Of course! I was a bit worried that this was going to be a wasted trip. I assumed that the price would be astronomical (I just got a quote of $300.00 for window cleaning) so I wasn't overly optimistic. I was happily incorrect. He showed and quoted me an amazing price.
