What I didn't know was that my son was quietly working behind the scenes with Nichole and Emily to surprise me for my birthday. He looked at the Equinox but realized the 2026 Chevy Trax had a cabin layout similar to my Colorado, with a simple turn‑key start that would make the transition easier for me. He didn't know I could check my emails on my smartphone -- so when the "Congratulations on your new 2026 Chevy Trax" message arrived, I saw it before he expected. I drove straight to Hartway Motors because I had to see it for myself. And I loved it instantly. The Trax was everything I didn't know I wanted. Zippy, stylish, with sporty red accents that made me feel 20 years younger. The cabin was simple, familiar, and not overwhelming at all. It felt like me. Hartway Motors has always been a place I trusted. My family worked here years ago -- even back when Darlene and Charlie ran it. Honest, upfront, and genuinely caring. That hasn't changed. We kept calling and calling to see if it was ready, to get it back, but it was never ready. Finally, they said since it was summer, and they were doing so many lawn mowers that people needed right away, would we mind waiting? To be agreeable, my husband said sure. In the Fall, we were delivered, when neither of us was home to receive it, "our" snow plow- except it wasn't ours. It was the same brand and type of plow, but it was rusty and dented, with old rusted wheels, and ours was sparkly brand new- looking. My husband called to try to get our rightful plow back, and they said it was ours. It is not! BEWARE! Keep your model number number handy, if you need a repair, so you can identify your equipment! I am fair, and to be fair, this rusty snow plow does start up and run. But it's still not ours. I wonder who has ours...
