However, four times in the last year I have been called within an hour of my appointment only to be told at the stylist wouldn't be able to make it in, and they would need to reschedule, and they would not be able to accommodate for a cut that day. I understand that people have personal lives, and once or twice if someone can't make it in, I certainly understand. But four times is a trend that I just can no longer ignore. Again, the service is fine, but if you rely, like I do, on being able to count on a haircut at a certain time, then I'm afraid that they may fall short. If you can afford to be a little more flexible with your time this might not be an issue, but just take it under consideration. Now I'm off to Sport Clips. Wish me luck.

When I called to make the appointment, the person on the phone was as SWEET as could be and truly made me excited to come get my hair fixed. Kayla Kayla Kayla... this hair magician is exactly that - a magician. She took my chopped up, uneven, badly layered hair, and created a masterpiece. He gives honest and useful advice, but is also great to just have a casual conversation with. Most importantly, he's a great hairstylist--I just recently decided to go from waist-length hair to shoulder length hair. For someone, who has always had long hair, that was a big step for me, but Zack did a fabulous job and I still get compliments. The salon is always pretty busy but I've never had a tough time getting an appointment. Call at least a week before you want your cut so you can get a prime spot.

I have what has been described as "difficult hair" because it is straight on the sides and has serious wave and body in the back. To be able to address that takes talent. A lot of younger stylists are not trained to do any styles above the shoulders as the beachy waves trend continues for decade after decade. Haircutting is becoming a lost artform. Greg is able to work with shorter hair. I have gotten many compliments, and I recommend him without reservation--although you will need a reservation to sit in his chair! I got my hair braided (knotless boho) last Saturday and left on vacation on Monday. Each time I manipulated the braids, the boho hair was sliding out. I was losing a lot, so I started to save the hair. When I got back home on Thursday, I took a picture of the hair and sent it to them explaining what had happened. Her first response was very disappointing ("Yes, it all depends on the texture of the hair. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it does not, but we are only able to take care of this issues after 48 hours. Once that time has passed, we are not able to do anything."). Well, I was out of the country 48 hours later. She then told me I could come in and they would crochet the pieces back in. I told her, thanks, but no thanks because I would have to buy more hair (that hair is not cheap) because the hair that came out was obviously tangled. Also, I expressed that the crochet method of adding the hair would probably not last either. Her response was, "apologies for the inconvenience". Not sure if the 48 hour rule is posted anywhere, but I think that the resolution could have been better. I paid $230 and my hair started falling apart 2 days later. That's unacceptable. I won't be back.

I was immediately greeted and my stylist 'Fred" was so much fun and had years of experience. Initially I wanted to get 1 color but he advised me to get highlights. The result? The salon is located in a plaza with a private parking lot that offers plenty of spaces, shared with a few other businesses. I'd recommend coming early when the salon opens or visiting on a weekday morning to avoid long waits. Even with an appointment around noon on a Saturday, my wait time was about 45 minutes. Weekends can get quite busy! Ben's technique is exceptional. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire process -- from the hair wash to the blow-dry finish. There are two other stylists (both male) who also do excellent work with both women's and men's hair. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of service you receive (photo is attached for pricing). Would I come back? Absolutely.
