Believe the hype! The office staff is nice and they work with kids w/ disabilities. They cared for him in ways people typically don't. For instance, when they noticed he was becoming triggered, they eased up on him. Sadly, they could not do work because he would not cooperate but I would happily bring all my kids back for routine cleanings and care. read more

My kids never had cavities, seemed funny, got a second opinion and not only did they have cavities it was baby root canals. I have more to say but I won't. I wouldn't recommend you will always leave with no cavity's until your kid is in pain. read more

Best dentist I've come across so far! Too bad he only sees children. Staff is great, place is clean.. vibe is great. Went there because "my dentist" does not emphasize great care for kids... so bad that at 6 years old, MY dentist wanted to put braces on him... and BOTH, Stage 1 & Stage 2! (What ever the hell that meant). Switched to Dr. Bell for a 2nd opinion... HEAVEN! It's awesome how they have gadgets on the ceiling to keep kids' minds distracted... and it's MAGIC!!! This truly is the best dentist in the high desert. The staff is so nice and they make it a fun experience for kids. Wow! Let me start off by saying how impressed I am with Dr. Bell. He was very likeable and treated us like family. He took his time with my daughter and really seemed to care about her. He explained the plan of action thoroughly and was very reassuring. I'm so glad I found Dr. Bell. The office also has a fun atmosphere. I wish I could have came to Dr. Bell as a kid! We are new patients of his and I wish I had found this office sooner. He is so kind and friendly. My daughter has "white coat syndrome" but did so well. I'm sure the video games on the ceiling helped a little lol. The dental assistant was very gentle and sweet, even to my one in a half year old who was not there to be seen. You can tell they genuinely care about their jobs but especially their patients. Even when I called to make the appointment, trying to figure out our insurance was a tab bit of a nightmare but Amanda was so very helpful and got it all figured out. I recently brought my child here and due to the fact that my child cannot have nitrous oxide;because he is mildly asthmatic the doctor refused to even try to treat my child. My child was well behaved and willing to be treated. Instead I was referred out to another dentist that does iv sedation. My child has a broken tooth and needed treatment asap. I now have to wait until October for my child to be seen. I did not ask Dr. Bell to restrain my child or anything. He simply refused, he claimed that we should just pay for the sedation at the other office. My family is on a single income and our dental insurance doesn't pay for sedation. We also don't qualify for government assistance. If you claim to be a pediatric dentist but won't see certain kids then why are you in that specialty???? Unless the work is easy it seems he doesn't have time for you. If you only want the easy work that your assistants can do maybe you should retire!! He also tried to claim we were being negligent because we hadn't been able to get all his treatment done yet!! My son went to the dentist that dr. Bell referred to but they were 2 months out on scheduling for treatment. We are in the process of getting his treatment done and this time when I took him to Dr. Bell I was concerned about his broken tooth and his staff booked my son for extraction of the tooth. What upset me is the last visit he said we could monitor my son's teeth and if the tooth started hurting could Dr. Bell try to just treat that tooth and he said he could try if needed and then when we went in yesterday he blatantly refused to treat my child and proceeded to be very rude to us as parents. We wouldn't be trying to treat our child if we were negligent parents. Do yourself a favor and if your child needs more than preventative care go somewhere else!!!! read more

This is the best dentist for my children. My son absolutely loves Dr. Bell. He is so good with kids and is very patient. He will answer all of your questions and although he has so many patients he still takes his time and never makes you feel rushed. My son tells me he wants to come here until he's old lol. Let me say that if you want a dentist for your kids that will be amazing at cleaning teeth and doing routine yearly care, the staff and Dr. Bell are wonderful for that. But if your child needs dental work for some big cavities or issues, please think twice and get another opinion on Dr. Bell's plan of action. My son went to Dr. Bell for four big cavities and Dr. Bell knew we had already been given one opinion that my son needed four crowns and four baby root canals. Dr. Bell assured us that he thought the work could be done with just fillings and maybe one root canal. So of course we chose this route! Seemed so much easier on my 5 year old. After the work was done, we went back FIVE times for issues related to his work (fillings cracked several times, terrible tooth pain, needed two more root canals, filling fell out). Two months after the work was done my son developed an abscess and since then he has had THREE MORE (on the teeth Dr Bell worked on) We recently saw a Dr. in Rancho Cucamonga who said that if Dr. Bell had done the work right, and put crowns, we wouldn't be in this situation. I have shed so many tears watching my baby boy cry and hurt and miss school and have 12 dental visits in the last 10 months. Now, my son needs three of those four molars extracted ( and will be toothless for the next 4 years ), needs three crowns (on top molars that dr bell filled but the fillings have fallen out THREE TIMES), three more root canals and three fillings. 2500$ of work. Our visit to the pediatric dentist in Rancho was this week, after the fourth abscess came. Our insurance has maxed out for the year so we now have to wait until January to get the new work done so that insurance can cover part of that 2500$. This has been the worst experience as a parent. Please just get a second opinion if your child needs major work and Dr. Bell suggests less work will fix the problem. read more

Absolutely chose the right office for my baby! Seeing as she is only 11 months, I was a little nervous for her first dental visit. I have to say Dr. Bell made me feel so comfortable! He thoroughly explained EVERYTHING so I understood. My baby didnt cry as he was so gentle and friendly. Monica was the best. (Dental assistant I think) she even offered to take a picture of my baby's first time since i was holding her...(which made me so happy lol). This is by far the best staff and doctor I have encountered. I cannot express how much I love this office, Dr. Bell, and the amazing staff. Dr. Bell exceeds all expectations while handling my child and it's so amazing to watch my three year old get excited to go to the dentist. Dr. Bell remembered that I have another little baby and inquired about him at our last visit, which went such a long way and made me feel like my family is much more than just a day to day patient. The love and care that Dr. Bell and his staff puts into the office and into their work is definitely shown through their commitment to their patients. Fantastic appointment for my 2 year old son. It was his second appointment ever. We went to another kids' dentist near Target in Hesperia and there was just no comparison! Dr Bell's office and staff are amazing with children and really seemed to care about him from the second we walked in. Everyone was very sweet and gentle and my son didn't shed a single tear while we were there...in fact, I didn't hear a single child cry the entire time we were there! When his appointment (checkup and polish) was finished, he got to pick out stickers and little toys from their treasure chest, which made it an even more positive experience.
