The only thing is the hygiene. The gloves are not changed when touching the chair or the machine that has been touched before with gloves used on other patients, that I don't know what part of their body was treated and then my face, disgusting . The effects are good and I see results with the hair growth, yet moving the lamp and touching the floor, moving the chair, touching the door knob with the gloves that are then used in my face is horrible read more

Overpriced and not great. I switched to this placed because I had scheduling conflicts with my old electrolysis place. I started having appointments with Agnes. She's a relatively new electrologist and they had a special with going with her or Loubna, the other new electrologist. My first couple sessions were fine until one week at the end of April I had a scheduled appointment at 1pm. But I wasn't allowed in until 1:15-1:20 because Agnes went overtime with her previous client. Agnes was very frantic and apologetic. But she ended up doing a different method of electrolysis on my sideburns accidentally. She left it on the flash method and I found out later that night that she did because I had little scabs all over my sideburns. I still continued to see her, then I ended coming here because I realized I was paying way too much for someone with little experience. I asked Marcy if I could switch to her but after 5-6 sessions she still considered me as a new client and she does not accept new clients on weekends (which is normally when I have my sessions because I have school on the weekdays). I understand previous clients are very important, but after a month of service, I shouldn't be considered new. Additionally, I wasn't seeing results with Agnes. My hair growth was still quite rapid. I switched to another place in the surrounding area, which is 10x better and cheaper. I was paying Agnes the same price I'm currently paying and my current electrologist has over 25 years of experience. And I barely have hair on my sideburns now because the electrologist at my new place is much more quicker and more efficient. read more

Let me start off by saying I've had electrolysis before and that person retired. I will not go back here again. I was left with bumps all over the lower portion of my face because the technician didn't run that metal roller thing that prevents this (or at least diminishes) over the treated area at the end of the session - bumps lasted a good 48 hours. I had to keep icing the treated area. In addition to the bumps, pinhead scabs developed and that didn't clear up for 2 weeks. I've never had this happen before. Technician was Lubna (nice lady but not sure she knows what she's doing). read more

I always get compliments on how my eyebrows look, and I haven't really had to have them touched for years now, thanks to the time I spent with Marcy years ago. Putting in the time with a great electrologist like Marcy is well worth it to not have to deal with constant maintenance of upper lip hair, stray eyebrows, etc. The pain level with the techniques Marcy uses is really pretty minimal, too, and this is coming from someone who is somewhat of a wimp when it comes to pain on the upper lip area. I drove 45min after a 3 week wait to get in to see Marcy after reading good reviews. I'm turning 29 and I must have looked alot younger to her because she immediately acted as if I was a lost little girl in the wrong office? I have tattooed eyebrows and after insulting me and referring to my tatted brow as a "pink line" (it's brown btw??) Then I'm thinking to myself omg this poor lady is colorblind, she proceeded to ask me "wheres your other eyebrow" I simply answer "it's sparse thats just how it grows in now from 15 years of tweezing unfortunately" onto business I tell her I want the hair above my tattooed eyebrows permantly removed. She comes out and say "I'm not comfortable with that I only do natural looks" For some odd reason I thought since I was the paying customer It was suppose to be my choice in how I wanted my extremely thick eyebrows thinned out. So I said ok "can you just take off whatever your comfortable with taking off" She said no lets find you someone closer. She just flat out refused to do even anything with them.
