I had a crack that happened and spread Saturday afternoon and by Sunday it was fixed very well by Ian. He told me that due to the climate and moisture it wouldn't be a perfect job and that makes sense as it was snowing with cold temps. He was very responsive via phone and on a Sunday helped to schedule me in and have it taken care of. I had most places that would push me out a couple of days and maybe have me get a new windshield. The crack was bullseye crack a little smaller than a dime and spread about 8 inches. The quoted price was very fair and much less than the big shops. All in all I have a new expert for any auto glass issues. Gotta love Yelp! The damage was minuscule, with a few teeny cracks, but enough where repairs were necessary. In comes Safelite AutoGlass. After confirming with our insurance that we were fully covered, they advised we had the option to go directly to Safelite's office or have a mobile unit come directly to us. I took the earliest availability which brought me to their facility. The process was an easy one. I entered at 8:50a.m. receiving pleasant greetings from the staff for my 9:00a.m. appointment. There's a decent sized, visibly clean waiting area but I chose to walk around outside as the weather was beautiful. The wait was short as I was back in my car by 9:30a.m. with a fully repaired windshield with no signs of damage. The service tech who assisted me, Alan, was a pro. He explained that there's a 15% chance of the crack not adhering to the repair, but based on Alan's exceptional work it's clear we fall in the 85th percentile. Safelite AutoGlass and their staff clearly lived up to their jingle.

Went to the office and was told again that the wrong windshield was ordered for my car. They wanted me to come back another day. It was unacceptable. This was the third day that I reset my schedule to have this windshield changed. So basically she found someone who had the windshield and I had to return again to Safelite this afternoon. My whole day was shot and the person who replaced my car windshield and the manager seemed like they had more attitude for a mistake the they made. Lesson learned I'll never go to that safelight.
