Miguel and his team have been doing a fantastic job of cleaning my 3 bdrm 2.5 bath house every month for the past 2+ years. They are always on time and friendly, and do a great job of cleaning our house. I initially picked them as they were the only ones who would clean my house on the weekends, but I have been pleased with their consistent level of service. A few things to note: - The first cleaning is the most thorough (I still remember it from 2 years ago). It's therefore a bit more expensive and will take longer, but worth every penny and second. Just something to plan for. - Miguel texts me usually the day before to remind me the team is coming and gives me an exact time then. Arrival times have varied, but Miguel has been great about adjusting times if I request it. - I've had anywhere from 2 people to 4 people come to clean my house. It obviously takes longer with fewer people. Cleaning times have ranged from a little over an hour (with 4 people) to 2.5 hours. - Although the team always does a great job, some team members are more thorough than others. The thoroughness of the team also adds to the time it takes to clean. - Although I feel like a different team of people came every month, there was always at least one person I recognized from the previous cleaning every month. - I usually need to air out my house after their cleaning because of the cleaning agents they use. I don't mind because I feel their products really help clean the dirt and grime that's accumulated over the month better than anything I have in the house, but I've asked, and they will happily use any cleaning agents you provide, if you would prefer something with no fragrance, environmentally friendly, etc. Highly recommend Miguel and his team! read more

I've been using this service for several months, and I've just decided that it's just not working. While the costs look attractive, you get a rushed service and they aren't careful with fragile items. I've had two valuables that aren't replaceable broken, and the response is that "it's always possible we will break things". If you want a cheap and rushed service, this might work for you. I hired A Plus for a move-in service after reading all of the positive reviews online and they did such an incredible job. I reached out to other companies prior to hiring A Plus and they were so much more expensive and their service didn't cover nearly as much as what A Plus included in their cleaning service. The house had recently undergone construction and they thoroughly cleaned everything, including all of the blinds. We moved in and didn't have to do anything in terms of cleaning. It was such a huge relief! They even cleaned the cobwebs around the exterior doors, windows and front porch. Simply amazing! I had a move out cleaning done and they were far more thorough with the cleaning than I expected. They cleaned and scrubbed inside the tracks of our sliding windows(something I didn't think about)and they got all the way behind the refrigerator, washer, and the drier. They got the insides and outsides of all the windows, even the second floor windows. There's too much to mention, but their attention to detail and overall finished quality was very impressive! A Plus is the best cleaning service I have used to date. They do an amazing job, cleaning areas that no other service has cleaned before. They cleaned the floor underneath our stove, the top of our ceiling fan, and even cleaned the floor underneath our living room area rug. After they were done with 3.5 hours of deep cleaning, the house was almost as clean as when we first moved in. The amount charged was higher than initially quoted, but I was perfectly fine with that because Miguel had given me a quote over the phone without first seeing our house. We will be signing up for monthly cleanings, well worth the price. read more

We recently had to get a new housekeeping service. The first one we used did not do any of the things they claimed in the initial walkthrough! We had them back for one more cleaning, with the same result. So then I really researched the best in the area, and A Plus Cleaning was my first choice. Miguel responded within a day, and we had him scheduled for the deep cleaning the following week. It was excellent, better than I could have hoped! We have since had the first regular cleaning (scheduled for every 2 weeks), with another great result. And the cost is fantastic too! I have been using A Plus cleaning for over 2 years now. We have the team come once every 2 weeks. Scheduling is painless, and it is quite impressive in all of those scheduled cleanings they have never called to cancel or make a change to the appointment! The women who do the cleaning are hard-working and professional, and overall the quality of work is very high. The cleaning of the bedrooms, bathrooms, and all surface is 5+ star. The only thing that is holding me back from giving an overall 5-star rating is that their work in the kitchen could be better if they were to improve how they do the dishes. They will throw them in the dishwasher but not pre-wash them, despite my feedback to please do so. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could, such a waste of time and money. Gave them three chances to do the job they committed to doing and it was never done to completion, despite the fact that Miguel (the owner) promised when we signed our contract that if a job was ever not done to our satisfaction he'd have his team back the next day to fix it (needless to say, that never happened). Worst offenses included leaving wet towels in the washer to grow mold, ruining cooking utensils not intended for the dishwasher, moving heavy furniture and not putting it back, and leaving the front door unlocked more than once. When I complained by email, Miguel texted to say they'd be back the next day but no one ever came. Instead I got his "business partner" who called and gave the following excuses: - Miguel committed to doing things that his team (apparently separate from Miguel's) doesn't do, so they just decided not to do them - For a 3br/3bth house they typically spend less than an hour so can't get to everything I want (how can you clean a 2000 sq ft house in such a short amount of time?!) - The staff members were fighting with one another and refusing to cooperate so I wasn't the only one to complain (ok, how is that my problem?) - My other complaints were valid but he couldn't do anything to fix it after the fact (essentially he had my money and wasn't going to take any steps to make things right) This business is a scam, don't waste your time, your money, or your breath. Find someone else who takes a little pride in their work. That's my plan. read more

Miguel (the owner) came to my house and gave me a quote to clean the place I had just moved in to. He said the first time would be a deep cleaning, and after that they would clean every 2 weeks. We decided that we could have him come once and then decide from there whether we wanted to continue. The maids did not do a deep cleaning -- the baseboards were not cleaned, the refrigerator was not wiped down, and the floor was not scrubbed properly. Furthermore, they took a bunch of clothes I had on the floor and stuffed them into a duffle bag and zipped it shut. When I opened it a week later I found the clothes were wrinkled from being stuffed in there and the clean clothes were mixed with the dirty. I definitely do not expect the maids to fold my clothes, but I would hope that they wouldn't wrinkle them and make more work for me. It would have been perfectly fine to just leave them be and clean around them. When Miguel's colleague texted me almost 2 weeks later about the next appointment, I told him I wanted to discuss the cleaning and they became upset that I could not be there the next day to let them in -- even though we had previously decided that we wanted to wait until after the first cleaning to figure whether we wanted them to come back. The man I spoke to (not Miguel) became quite agitated, and then told me that in order for them to clean my house, they would have to charge me $150 instead of the $90 we originally agreed upon! He said my house was dirtier than expected. Now, I don't consider my house to be dirty -- but even if he does -- he CAME to the house and quoted me the price based on what he saw the condition of my house to be. It is bad business practice to renegotiate on a price that has been settled. When I mentioned about the clothes and the baseboards, he told me this was a "two-way street' about wanting them to clean and refused to address the specific matters. I told him we wouldn't be using him again. I was shocked at the way they treated me. They were very nice and sweet when they wanted my business, but then after thinking they had secured it, they were rude and dismissive. Be careful about them changing their prices at the last minute. read more

I had used this service several times and was happy with their cleaning help, the decent price, and Miguel's quick response by text to schedule cleanings. It made me overlook the fact that they weren't always on time, and that they moved things around so I would have to search to find things like the trash can. Then, most recently we had scheduled a cleaning at 1pm. I had a 1 month old baby and visitors staying with us the next day, so I really needed the house cleaned. Miguel texted me at 1:18pm just stating that he will arrive at 1:45pm, no apologies or anything. I had timed my baby's feeding so we could be out in the yard and not inhaling cleaning fumes or sleeping in the room. By 2pm he still did not show up. I was really mad and took a walk with my baby. He texted "I'm here" at 2:12pm, and just gave an excuse about needing to drop his wife home and pick up kids first. I headed back home, but when I got home, he wasn't there anymore. No other messages from him. I didn't hear from Miguel again until 3 days later when he offered another time to come in, and said "excuse me for the delay on friday." I waited a few weeks, decided I'd give it one more shot, and texted him to see if he could come by. No response and it has been a week. This is the last straw. I decided then that I must update my review and withdraw my praises of his services, and start hunting for a more reliable service. read more

For a fair price they cleaned up our place after we used it as a venue for a class party, just the living room, kitchen, and stairs ($90). They did a good job and I would definitely hire them again. They were also fast, under 2 hrs. It was the owner and two ladies. The one star ding is for: 1 - They were late, and I'm not sure they would have come if I didn't call. I had scheduled a couple days in advance, so it wasn't late notice or anything. 2 - There were some spots on the floor that were still kind of dirty, I had to clean some myself. To be fair, there was a party, so I don't think it's unreasonable. 3 - The cleaning solutions they use are very strong smelling, and I would request a less pungent cleaning solution if you go with them. read more

Had to leave a review after Miguel decided to blame me for their service. During the last service I received a text that the cleaners were going to be late. They completed the cleaning in less than an hour and I know my place takes at least an hour. When I arrived back the couch was in the middle of the room and everything was displaced, but cleaned. I told Miguel that this was not like last time and that if they are running late for a clean, they should just reschedule mine and not rush it. Very disappointed in the appointment-setting follow through. I had to cancel the initial meeting for the person to review my apt. and provide me with a proposal to clean my apt. (It was to be a "Move-Out" clean, done this week, after I move.) I believe they required the initial/free estimate, before doing the work. When I canceled, I was assured that he would come back whenever I was ready. I continued to stay in touch and told him to reserve either Thursday or Friday this week. Last week, I started emailing, several times, at least 4 or 5, requesting another appt., and each time, I said please hold Thursday or Friday this week to clean my apt. I even said that it was on the "not so clean" side, so he could be prepared, and he knew the size, etc. I never heard back until an email last night at 10:45PM, saying, "so sorry; too busy." Just not great that he couldn't take the time to reply to one of my emails last week. I get that he's busy. Great, but now I'm left with just a few days to find another service. We originally used A Plus for our tiny temporary apartment, which was constantly messy because we have a infant. They worked around the baby's things and it was always nice to walk into a clean apartment. I was thrilled to be able to book a next-day deep-cleaning for our 3-bedroom/1-bathroom house via email. The process was quick and painless, and Miguel was super-courteous, efficient, and accommodating. The A Plus crew arrived half an hour early and got right to work. The four ladies were absolutely meticulous and took direction very well. Our place was filthy. We hadn't had it cleaned in six months and, frankly, we're slobs. Miguel's crew ultimately did a better job than our regular cleaners, in about half the time, and for a better price. They did an especially thorough job with the bathroom (which has mold issues) and the kitchen (which sees heavy, messy use).
