Statement from dental office that shows I paid well over $3,171. ( I paid $4,119 total )
    Jesika H.

**Will be posting DENTAL BILL AND BENEFITS PAPERWORK FROM DELTA DENTAL INSURANCE TODAY. ** UPDATE: **To whoever just responded, I actually just got off the phone with your office manager Latoya with my insurance rep on the phone as well and in the 2 minutes your manager was as so rudely to cut her off, she did manage to let your office know that my total was only 3,080 ( bridge only) and I am in fact due a refund. So Your office is well aware and your office manager heard the insurance rep from delta dental clearly state the facts. Latoya put us on hold abruptly as she stated she's with a client yet I've been calling for 2 weeks trying to get this situation solved AND after my insurance rep told her all she needed was a few minutes to clear up any misconceptions. NOW YOU ARE AWARE!!!! I have called your office multiple times in the last 2 weeks to discuss this issue and your office manager and know you, are aware that I was overcharged! Calling anymore is just a waste of my time as you all clearly don't understand your error. So to whoever just responded, please call dental dental give them my name and number and they will absolutely let you know as they told me that your office DID get a benefit summary of what I should have paid just like I did, and that you OVERCHARGED ME. IT ALL GOES BACK TO HONESTY AND INTEGRITY. Do your due diligence and contact them if you think I'm being dishonest. Or because a customer who wrongly spent over 4 grand is telling you there's an issue. I guess I'll start filing paperwork and grievances now. THIS OFFICE MIGHT OVERCHARGE YOU!!! So after my teeth were done in March 2017, I got my benefits summary in the mail ( few weeks ago) from my dental insurance and was told I overpaid for services ( 6 teeth bridge) by about a thousand dollars. Have called multiple times and to no avail. They feel as tho they charged me correctly but my dental insurance states otherwise. According to my insurance, they are only allowed to charge me the predetermined price as already allotted and agreed upon with my PPO dental insurance! My bill should have been 3,080 ( not including the cleaning ) and I paid over 4 thousand dollars!!!!!!! I think it's beyond SHADY that they basically just up charged me whatever they felt like I guess not thinking I wouldn't get the correct amount from my insurance. I have called delta dental numerous times since I received my statement and they have confirmed more than once that I was overcharged. Not sure why people won't just be honest and do the right thing. But I'll do all the proper protocols to get my money back!! ITS TRULY UNFORTUNATE BECAUSE I HAD NO REAL ISSUES WHEN I GOT MY TEETH WORKED ON IN MARCH. BUT THE ISSUE IS NOT THE WORK, ITS THE INTEGRITY AND HONESTY BEHIND THE SCENES AFTER THE WORK IS FINISHED. No mater what happens, won't EVER come back here. CAN NO LONGER TRUST ANY OF THE PEOPLE WHO WORK IN THE OFFICE PERIOD. Be careful!!!! COME HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! I'll have to take other actions to received my 1,039 dollars back.

Uhmmmmm.... i should have known this place is not the dentistry for me. From day one I signed up they had a staff literally arguing with me for asking questions. She was later let go... now, I have an appointment after speaking with a staff a week ago to confirm appointments and request time from work. I got there only to be told they canceled contact with insurance company since September 1, 2020. No email, no telephone call nothing. They will force things for you to do that you don't need to be done just to collect that money. I wouldn't recommend them and I am glad the policy was canceled because I believe they were over charging me anyway. Updated: Since they respond I had to update to show prove that they are lying . You know very well they didn't send text or remind especially the Dentist said my appointment was removed due to you jo longer do business with Liberty. You know very well I mentioned to your office manager I called a week ago to confirm appointment so I can get the day off from work. So now you going lie about reminder being sent. This is why im glad I'm leaving very unprofessional and you do not own up to your actions. You could at least tell me your team is not competent enough to send the clients an email about removal of Liberty yet you let me confirm appointment then later have it removed. Again, I wouldn't recommend them. Have a good day.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST…read more I had one of the worst medical experiences I've ever encountered at Comfort Dental with Dr. Marwan Jamil. I scheduled this appointment nearly two weeks in advance, completed all required paperwork online, and clearly explained when booking that I had a crown that popped off and needed either a repair or replacement. Everything seemed straightforward. When I arrived for my 11:00 AM appointment, I wasn't seen until about 11:20 AM because the office manager arrived late and the dentist was visibly going back and forth with staff. Not a great start. Once I was finally taken back, the dentist came in, asked what the issue was, and I explained again about my crown. I even brought the crown with me in case it could be re-cemented. He looked at it and said it would be an easy fix. Then, without warning, everything changed. He told me he could not perform an X-ray or ANY treatment without "medical clearance" from my doctor. This immediately raised a red flag, so I asked why--since I've never needed that before for dental work. He then told me it was because I "had a tumor." I corrected him immediately and said I do not have a tumor, and that was not listed anywhere on my paperwork. He then claimed that Hashimoto's thyroiditis is a tumor--which is completely false. It is an autoimmune disease, not a tumor. He then referenced my paperwork and said I noted having surgery. I explained that yes, I had ovarian surgery in January to remove a cyst, which I disclosed honestly because the form asked if I've ever had surgery. That is standard medical history. Despite this, he insisted he could not do anything--not even an X-ray--without my doctor completing a clearance form. At this point, I asked a very reasonable question: Why was I not informed of this requirement before my appointment? I had waited nearly two weeks, only to be told on the spot that nothing could be done. His response? He "just looked at my file." He then told me that after getting clearance, I'd have to schedule again--and the next available appointment was May 7th (another 3+ week wait), just to possibly proceed with basic care. When I expressed that this made no sense, he became dismissive and said: "Good luck finding another dentist. This is what I went to school for." Completely unprofessional. After leaving, I immediately contacted my OBGYN, primary care doctor, and endocrinologist, and all three confirmed the same thing: There is absolutely no reason I would need medical clearance for a dental X-ray or crown repair in this situation. This was a complete waste of time, a delay in necessary care, and based on incorrect medical information. I will be reporting this office for: * Misinformation (calling Hashimoto's a tumor) * Failure to communicate requirements ahead of time * Refusal of basic dental care without valid reasoning * Extremely unprofessional behavior Save yourself the time, frustration, and risk--go literally anywhere else.

While reclining in the dental chair, my blood pressure was checked for the first time. I was informed by Sammy, the dental technician?, that this is a new procedure as the practice continues to update its protocols. My blood pressure was taken twice using a CVS store-brand cuff placed over a thick sweater. During the first reading, my arm was positioned hanging down at my side with my arm bent on the dental bed. I was not asked to rest it at heart level, nor was I seated with my feet flat on the floor, as is standard practice in most medical settings. The second reading was taken in the same manner, again over my sweater and arm hanging down. I slightly adjusted my arm position myself during the second attempt. Both readings were elevated, and I was told that my dental cleaning could not proceed. And...that's ok. What I found concerning is that upon returning home, I checked my blood pressure using two different machines BEFORE taking my medication. I took my sweater off, sat upright, feet on floor, and arm by chest/heart level. While my readings were elevated, they were SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the measurements taken at the dental office. If blood pressure readings are being used to determine whether routine dental care can proceed, it is important that staff are properly trained in correct blood pressure measurement techniques. To clarify, I do have high blood pressure, and my physician and I manage it carefully. In addition, I had not yet taken my medication prior to the dental appointment. However, my at-home readings were nothing comparable to those taken at the dentist. Had my blood pressure truly been as high as indicated at the dentist, I would have sought immediate emergency care, especially given that I am pregnant and aware of the seriousness such readings would pose. I am grateful that I rechecked my blood pressure at home for peace of mind. I even called my doctor, went in to the doctor's office, showed my doctor the sweater, explained how it was done...and my doctor said it was done incorrectly! *For transparency, a prior positive post about this practice was made after being offered a discount for doing so. At this point, I believe it may be time to seek care elsewhere.
