Disappointing Experience and Lack of Accountability I rarely write reviews, but in this case I feel it's necessary in hopes of sparing someone else from the experience I had. I am over 60 and went to this practice after a fall chipped my two front teeth. I was given two options -- repair the chips or place crowns. The dentist recommended crowns as the more permanent solution, and I trusted that advice. During the procedure, my bottom front teeth were excessively shaved down -- something multiple dental professionals have since told me should not have been done, especially to that extent. This caused significant malocclusion (an overbite) that I did not have before. I have since been advised that the only correction is Invisalign at a cost of $4,800. I paid $2,500 for the original work. When I raised my concerns, both the dentist and the practice owner declined to take responsibility or offer any resolution, even when I requested a refund to help offset corrective treatment, at the very minimum I felt they should've done. That would've been a serious compromise. In addition, I also have to get new crowns, because, they were also not right! This trip to this dentist practice has cost me $7,300 (Invisalign + new crowns) in addition to the $2,500 they got from me for failed dental work. Mistakes can happen. Ethical practices take responsibility when they do. Not only am I facing additional expense, it is costing me in other ways, inconvenience, and lasting changes to my bite and facial appearance. I really regret going to this office after my accident, but like many in the reviews have said, I came to this practice years ago and was satisfied, under the new ownership it is not the same. I've never been to any business where they were not willing to do anything to rectify the problem. In other words if they make a mistake, they will not take ownership and you are on your own, unfortunately, I had to learn this the hard way. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, their business office lady is rude and not very welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thankfully, I have a very good dentist in Beverly Hills, that I returned to after this bad experience, who is correcting their work. This was over and above the rather pricey estimate they had just given me for their general dental services. Since I already had several crowns installed by another dentist and had never been charged this additional fee or had to have any specialized medicine, I was suspicious. I made an appointment with another dentist for the same procedure. The procedure was performed and there was NO mention of or need for this $650 medicine. I believe Sooferi's office was padding their estimate to me to get extra funds.
