I've been a customer of A Plus for a while and I'm pretty satisfied with them. They do alterations for just about every occasion. I've had several formal/cocktail dresses altered here and this last one was greatness. I bought a size 10 strapless cocktail dress with ruching on the sides that was so so so cute... only problem was I'm not nearly close to a size 10, more like a size 2. They fixed it to where it's my perfect dress! I dropped off the dress on Monday night and picked it up Friday night, tried it on and everything looked gorgeous. They also do shoe repair and embroidery but I haven't used those services yet. read more

This place is run by a very nice Korean couple who have been doing this for quite a long time. There's usually not a lot of people at the joint, so he has time to measure you out properly. He takes his time and gets your input for whatever you want, shows you what it'll look like, and then make some more suggestions for what you'll need to do additionally so that the suit is proportional. One thing I wish he would do with customers would be to give some more actual advice for what looks good when you're standing in the mirror with him. He gives you all the options, but if you're not experienced, all the options can kind of fly over your head. Execution is on point with whatever you tell him, so it's imperative you tell him right.. I've only done one suit here so far, so I don't know what exactly I'd say this place is a 3.5 spot, but I'll give it to 'em. read more

I have been here a handful of times now and they can transform pieces in no time. Alterations are never cheap, but they seem to work with you a little on the price. I feel like they make everything fit just right. THey are non-judging and help everyone in the exact same manor. Found this mom and pop shop looking to get my suit altered for my wedding! I ended up getting my suit jacket sleeves shortened and pants hemmed along with my sons pants hemmed. Prices were reasonable and they were knowledgeable. I've ended up taking multiple dress pants and jeans there to get altered! You have to pay when you drop off so be sure to mention the cash discount to save yourself some money! read more

I ordered a very expensive Korean Tae Kwon Do uniform in July of this year and since I am short and round needed the sleeves and the pants hemmed. I admit I was worried leaving it to be altered since it HAD to look exactly like the original hem. I was able to drop it off and pick it up the same day. When I picked it up I couldn't have been more pleased! After washing and wearing that uniform 5 days a week since July the stitching is still perfect! I received a new Korean Adidas uniform from my Sabumnim for Christmas and will be bringing it to A+ for alterations next week. I have every confidence it will be as perfect as my Vision Revolution uniform. read more

My daughter came home at 4:45 with a uniform warm-up pant that she needed the next day. The pants were much too long so I rushed over to A Plus to see if they could do the hemming before her pep rally the next day. They graciously did the alteration in 30 minutes (I arrived at 5 pm and they close at 6 pm) and were extremely reasonable with the price!! I have been a customer for several years and have always been happy with alterations and monogramming but they definitely went above and beyond to help me out today and I highly recommend them for your tailoring needs. Someone came out immediately when I walked in for a consultation. They had me try on the item of clothing and it is sitting right there. They gave me a quote that was very reasonable and competitive and I was able to set up a pickup date and when I dropped it off on the same day consultation. I took a hat here to have my sons last name monogrammed on and it was $20 . Very overpriced, took 3 days, and then I went to pick it up and the last letter had blue thread all over the white thread. I pointed it out and he said can you come back? I said no since I had my kids with me and I don't live close. I also told him when I dropped it off I needed it for a baseball game 4 days later. Dropped off a pair of suit pants here and they needed some pretty extensive alterations done in the seat. When I walked in I was greeted immediately and shown to a dressing room. I showed the tailor what was wrong, he made a coupe marks, asked a few fitting questions and I was outta there. Very fast. They had the pants ready in 48 hours and they were perfect. I was very happy with the work and if I lived around here this is where I would get every one of my alterations done. The only downside it was a bit pricey, 28 bucks to have it done....BUT the pants are way more comfortable now and you can't really put a price on that. read more

I've been taking clothes here for a few years and have always been very happy with the service and results. I lost a lot of weight, gained it back, and then lost it again so they've worked on my suits a few times now. They always get the work done quickly if needed and it's always been a spot on perfect fit. I've never had to take anything back. They're always quick to greet you and very helpful and make sure they're getting the fit/look you want. They've even taken a few off the rack suits of mine and made them fit amazingly well. Horribly overpriced. have been going here for years. I refer business to them all the time. I went in to have some IKEA curtains hemmed. They are 4 feet wide and cotton. I paid $80 for all 4 curtains. A Plus charged me $108 to hem them. A simple job and they were going to charge me another $40 to press them. I told her she will lose all of my business and she Just said sorry that is the price. I will never ever go back and neither should anyone else. After all that, every single curtain was a different length. Horrible! read more

I have a very expensive Taekwondo uniform that was way too long for me. This uniform came from Korea and it would be a minor disaster for me if something happened to it. But I trusted A+ to alter it because they have experience with TKD uniforms. I dropped it off late Saturday afternoon and requested it to be ready by Monday early afternoon before my first class. It was ready on time, looks amazing (they even moved a patch for me so it looks exactly right), and the cost was perfectly fair. I will absolutely bring all of my uniforms to them for alterations. They are friendly and efficient even when very busy. read more

I can only review part I of my experience, as I've only dropped some clothing off for tailoring. The ladies who did all the pinning for my alterations were super speedy and everything was PINNED exactly how I hope it looks. Price-wise I found them to be affordable. Much cheaper than going out and buying a new wardrobe, that's for sure! I noticed they can do alterations really quick when you're in a pinch. I told them "no hurry" which I now regret because I'm DYING to see how everything looks! Oh well - in two weeks I'll get to pick up my stuff...at which time I'll update this review. We've had a horrible experience with this tailor- we've taken several pieces to them to bring up the shoulder straps and the waist lines and when we got the pieces back they fit exactly the same as they had before we had taken them in. Not even sure if they altered them in any way. We took back the items to show them that nothing had been done that was noted on the receipt and they told us we were wrong. We still have more pieces to return and know that they won't believe us. read more

I brought in 2 pairs of slacks to be taken in. They were ready when promised. The price is fair. When I tried them on, they both fit like they were made especially for me. The man who pinned them only put 2 pins in each. I don't know how he did such an amazing job making them fit so perfectly. I am leaving this review to let other people know that they can trust this shop with their garments. I had a formal gown hemmed and repaired for my daughter's wedding, and the work was done perfectly and on time. After the long search for the perfect dress, you get a little nervous leaving it with someone whose work you don't know, and it's a bit of a gamble, wondering whether the job will be done right, or you'll end up with a ruined garment. But rest assured, this is a quality operation, with courteous, polite, and helpful staff, in a clean and tidy shop. I will most definitely use them again in the future. read more

I've had the same tailor for the last 12 years but I have to drive 35 minutes to get there. I was told of A+tailor and the great work they do so I gave them a try. Mr Kim was very kind and professional while marking my $1700 suit, felt confident by this and paid $79.02 for cuffs, sleeves and took in the sides of the jacket. I picked up the suit when it was ready a week later, felt confident so I took it and tried it on at my house. The back of the jacket where it was taken in is visibly uneven and bunches up on the left side, the center vent is now wide open and a roll just below the the collar all of a sudden appeared. I took the jacket back the next day, tried it on and was told that nothing could be done with the sides or the center vent of the jacket, that's just the way it is after taking in the sides less than 1/2 inch on each side... I am far from being oddly shaped at 5'7" 152 pounds and have never run into this issue the last 18 years I've worn suits or sportcoats. Maybe they were having a bad day, I just hope my suit jacket can be fixed. read more

They RUINED MY WEDDING GOWN! I asked multiple times during the fitting for them to only hem the front of my wedding dress, add cups/padding in the bust, and fix the zipper of the dress. The lady fitting me nodded and said yes to all of it every time I detailed what I wanted. She didn't write anything down on the receipt, so I told her again what I wanted done. She confirmed. When I came back to get my dress, they had cut off the entire train and didn't add cups/padding or fix the zipper. They said they could fix it and add the train back on. It looked awful! The man that runs the place tried to yell at me and say that it was my fault for the miscommunication and that the ladies don't understand English. He ended up paying me for the cost of my wedding gown and refunding the money I had already paid them for the alterations. HORRIBLE customer service, does NOT understand English, and RUINS wedding gowns! I would give them zero stars, but you must select at least one. read more
