My husband and son arrive and are told they won't splint without viewing the images its 6 p.m. no images can be sent but Ped wants splint tonight! They're xray machine is broken so my husband has to drive to the kalmia location where they gave him grief about the insurance because apparently they don't know how to look up medical groups. read more

We have been to this facility three times in the past two months. Unfortunately my daughter has had the run of it. Anyways, originally, we saw Omar and he immediately knew what was wrong and prescribed the medication she needed and within a day she was back to her normal self. This last week we had to return due to throwing up and a fever. Peter was the one who helped us, and we weren't really sure what it was, but hoped it would just work it's way out. Well, it didn't. I returned a few days after as he instructed to do if the symptoms did not go away and he was then able to make a diagnosis and prescribe an antibiotic and steroid to help her. They were so kind in the office from the office staff to the nurses. They were understanding and patient with my daughter, who is 4, and even though we came in right before closing time, we were not rushed at all. Horrible place. My son came down with strep throat very quickly, so we went there at about 7:30 p.m. He had a fever and the pain was so bad that he could barely swallow or talk. He has just turned 18 and doesn't have his driver's license yet. They demanded photo ID without which they refused to see him. I'm his mom, with photo ID, and they were just horrible and refused to see him. We were hoping we didn't have to drive further while he was so sick to another urgent care or god forbid the hospital ER, but, no. They were ridiculous. They also were very empty with no one but us there, and I can see why with such a stupid policy, treating families like criminals. She said that I was very inconsiderate because I did not come in sooner. She assumed I came in late on purpose! I have honestly used this location for my daughters primary doctor for the past couple years. I trust the doctors here and they are always easy to talk to. The office is clean and the staff is very friendly. We saw Dr. Kimes today and we were so thankful and pleased with how he took care of my daughter. He was informative and friendly. He made her feel comfortable and laugh a lot. He made sure to let me know what was going on and what to look for. Twice we have seen Christine Sullivan FNP and both times VERY bad experiences. She is rude and unprofessional. My daughter saw her today and came home very upset by the way Miss Sullivan treated her. DO NOT RECOMMEND this Urgent Care facility. The front office was not very knowledgeable and helpful. We were stuck in the waiting room for over 1 hour before we were told we would have to come back in a couple of hours to be seen! Why we came back I'll never know! Worst. Mistake. Ever. The treating Physician Assistant was rude and did not ask any of the specific questions regarding my husband's injury. My husband inquired about an MRI and the PA's response was rude and unprofessional, "You think anyone wants to put out $1500 for an MRI for you?!" In the end, he prescribed my husband 2 heavy narcotics and an anti-inflammatory and sent us on our way. No referral to see a specialist! No MRI! No follow-up treatment plan! Nothing! Please don't play with your health and go somewhere else where they can cure you in a proper manner. First of all I have been there twice and have been seen by a physician assistant does this place even have a real doctor (MD). Secondly the entire duration in the room as less than a minute with her only talking and not even asking me anything just checked my nose and ears and she is like it's infection send the nurse with the prescription. Not to mention it's been 14 days and i finish all my antibiotics and medication with no improvements. Now that I am researching my symptoms I might pneumonia and or bronchitis which if she would have asked me for my symptoms she would have diagnosed. Anyways this place do not care about you. The doctor or I should say the assistant doctor who runs the place did not take her time to ask even a second question and prescribed me which I probably did not need because if I needed it it would have made me feel a little better but instead it got worst. I would not even take my child here for something as simple as an ear infection. I have been visiting this urgent care periodically for 5 plus years because of it's convenient location and I have finally decided this was my last visit as once again they have wasted my time and money with wrong medications. "Catherine" talks down to her patients as if we are all the scum of the earth! She has no idea what she is talking about or doing! Pretty disappointing. We called around 730pm and the lady over the phone got an attitude because we were coming in right before closing. Upon arrival we were seen pretty quickly but the medical assistant wasn't very "warm" and reeked of cigarettes. He also had very long nails so it kind of grossed me out since he had to examine my toddler. The doc came and examined my baby and didn't really see any issues. On the way home we got a call suggesting we go to the ER (just to make sure her heart was ok). Got to the ER and the doc noticed my daughter had an ear infection! This place has the worst customer service. When you arrive to check in, you're lucky if you are even acknowledged. When you are, the front desk person just barks your name and asks for your insurance and co pay. I totally get that healthcare workers are overworked, but if you don't like what you do or where you do it, please leave and let someone that appreciates having a job take your desk. The wait times are in the 4 to 5 hour mark with another hour wait after you get called to the back. The PA's are usually nice... Little strange, but nice. I went there when my toe was bleeding from a decent cut caused by a sharp object during a volleyball game, i wrapped it with a band-aide. I had to wait about 10 minutes (because I was a walk-in) but I was impressed with the PA skills in putting 4 clean stitches on my pinkie toe and the nurse who happened to be a radiologist as well was professional and quick. I read some -not so good- reviews in here but my personal experience was awesome, many thanks to PA- KAT and the nurse who assisted her saving my toe. Although I'm from Oceanside, I may consider driving back up there in two weeks to get the stitches removed. read more

Probably the worst establishment I've been too. Took over three hours to get three stitches and there was nobody in the waiting room. The front desk lady with blonde hair was super rude. They called to let me know they forgot to give me papers so I had to turn around and when I got back ten minutes later they didn't have the papers and made me sit and wait with my wife and six month old in the car. I went here a year and a half ago for a radial fracture. While they were nice enough to mold a splint for it, the nurse either didn't have an ounce of good sense, or may have just been plain malicious. She kept insisting that I straighten my arm for the X-ray. My BROKEN arm. And the doctor wasn't 100% certain that it was an actual fracture, so he said they would send the X-rays into orthopedic and they would get back to me. Which never happened. No calls, no mail. But they sure as hell billed me for it. They swore up and down that the 20 dollar copay was all we would have to pay. To my surprise, we got a bill for 400 dollars four months later. After settling that a long while ago, I got another bill from a collections agency just the other day for 180. Which apparently accrued 20 dollars interest before I ever heard about it. He took his time discussing my symptoms and I didn't feel rushed at all. I walked away informed and educated about health items I hadn't imagined learning. Oh where do I even start! I came here last fall for strep throat. I've had it many times and I can pretty much diagnose myself(fever, swollen tonsils, etc). The doctor saw me, and said that even though my tonsils were swollen and I had body aches that morning I just had a cold and he would not be giving me antibiotics. I had trouble talking and had white spots on my tonsils, something I never have when I only have a cold. I practically begged for antibiotics because I don't have the luxury to take a whole week off to see if it's a virus or bacterial infection. He didn't budge. He took a culture swab and decided that if it came back positive only then would he write me a prescription. I go home and have one of the worst fevers I've had in my life. I try to keep my fever down and call two days later to see if they have my results. They don't. I again practically beg them to write me a prescription and they say the doctor wrote specifically not to give me any meds until they get the results. I have another night with a terrible fever and I've called out from work 2 days at this point so I call again and no answer. I called multiple times a day and left 2 messages and I never get a reply, and no one answered my calls. I have a feeling the were purposely avoiding my number and not answering on purpose but obviously I can't say for sure. I had to go to another urgent care where they confirmed that I had strep and I got my antibiotics and I was finally able to return to work. I came to A+ urgent care for so many years and it sucks to write this review but they honestly did me so dirty. I will never again come to this place. Oh and a few weeks later I called to see what ever happened to my results (they said they would call), again no one answered. They never called me back, left any messages or anything. Normally i take the amount of covid impact in mind with places like this being busy. But this was not the case, i was trying to figure out a billing issue i had that involved not sending the lab results over to my insurance. But my insurance needed to speak to Adrianna and she was not willing to comply at first and then when she did talk to my insurance provider she was not providing any help saying "i don't know what our P.O. box is so i don't know what you want me to do or how to help you". My issuance needed to contact her first before sending my personal info over due to privacy reasons and she said i have too long of a line of patients to deal with this. i was waiting and have been dealing with this circumstance about 2 hours then and with the level of attitude that was conveyed was unacceptable. Do not recommend going here, there are better places than this one and dealing with your billing/insurance/ being seeing is ridiculous and will only cause you more problems. read more

This is the best Urgent Care experience we have ever had. I took my daughter in because she needed to be seen and could not get an app. with her primary doctor. They have online check in, which cut our wait time to ten min. WOW- unbelievable. They text you when it's time to drive in. The nurse was great and courteous. Doctor Bidet took her time with my daughter. She listened, was sympathetic and personable. My daughter and I were both relieved to find such a great doctor at the Urgent Care. My wife took our nine year old son there today who had a 104 degree fever. I called ahead to check business hours, receptionist told me they were open until 5:00. My wife got my son in the car and arrived at 4:48 pm. She walked in and said he needed to be sent and had a 104 degree temperature. They were DENIED. My wife explained that he was a child with a high fever, how could they not take him??? They said the doctor said he/she would not take anyone else tonight. The ladies at the front desk were extremely rude and disrespectful as well. Needless to say my wife and I are furious and disgusted by this and will never visit this facility, or any other A+ Walk In Urgent Care again. Neither will anyone we know and would encourage others to find somewhere else to go. Our pediatrician could not believe this either. My wife just took our so to Temecula 24-Hour Urgent Care, and she said they were extremely friendly and got them in quickly, so all is well! read more
