Not a good experience at all. The gal appeared to be Filipino and was snappy and condescending; the way my wife put it on her way to visit Rancho ER...ALL DAY! She refused seeing my wife because CovCal sent them a letter stating our monthly premium payment had not been paid (3 days past due) even though there is a 90 day grace period to make a payment before the plan is cancelled. Yet her coverage is still in ACTIVE status so they should not refuse treatment and accept our co-pay or at least offer an out-of-pocket option!!! CovCal has put our family in the poor house and for treatment centers to fall in line with their bully tactics really disappoints me and ticks me off. This has nothing to do with whether the agency will get paid or not. Yet CovCal tells them they won't should we decide to never make further payments and forfeit our plan. This is basically extortion via 3rd party. We are late on our payment every month. Yet we pay our payment every month. Yet we get refused service when we are late so what are we even paying for if we never GET the treatment? We are forced to visit the ER and I'm very ashamed for A Plus for allowing this. If they treat my wife while she is in ACTIVE status CovCal has no right to withhold payment and they know this. read more

I absolutely recommend! The whole process was quick and efficient, there were only a few people in the waiting room. The staff were really nice & polite. My entire evaluation took less than 10 minutes, I was at the Urgent care for no longer than 20 minutes (I have strep throat). If you wanna be in and out as quick as possible, definitely go here! read more

This place is the worst, I take my 4 year ols daughter very sick with high temperature, while we were waiting my daughter started vomiting so i ask the lady at the front desk if she have a little container that my daughter can use, the lady roll her eyes and make a yuck face because my daughter was vomiting so she get up of her desk and instead of give me a container or a tissue to clean my daughter she send another guy to give me wipes to clean the floor, so I ask him are you giving me this to clean my daughter? I know that those wipes are not mean for skin contact and he said not, to clean the floor, ......Really?? They were more concerned about their floor than give me something for my daughter and the lady on the desk was behind the desk making those yuck faces, they are very unprofessional if they don't like their job they should go and find another job that they actually can really handle. read more

All three of my daughters were extremely sick, and Dr. Donald Kimes was beyond incredible. He went above and beyond to take care of my children. The entire staff at A Plus Urgent care are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend A Plus Urgent Care. read more

My frail, elderly mother was having a severe migraine headache. I was worried that she might be about to have another stroke. We usually take her to the emergency room (about 5 times this past year) where it always ends up being an all day ordeal. Dr. Kimes saw her right away. He was so kind with her, listened to her, reviewed her medications and history, and was really great with her during the exam. After he treated her and got her back on the right medications, she was feeling better within the hour. She is still talking about how kind Dr. Kimes was to her and how nice his staff was. We will definitely be coming back! read more

I sat waiting for 25 minutes for the receptionist to get off her personal phone call to check 1 person in to then get on the phone AGAIN to make another personal phone call. There is plenty of Urgent Cares in the Valley to choose from so I definitely will NOT be back. At this rate going to the ER would have been quicker. read more

Quite possibly the worst medical care I've ever gotten. The doctor's spent 5 minutes in the same room as me, and spent maybe one of those examining my complaint. Doctor failed to diagnose my broken jaw and torn ligaments in my shoulder. The only advice I left with was to take Motrin for the pain. My wife hurt her knee badly this morning at the gym. Progressively thru the day her pain got excruciating. I told her I would leave early from work and meet her at this urgent care. I called the office on the way and tried to find out what they could do as far as examination and pain killers if needed . I was asked by the girl who answered the phone, how my wife's injury had happened. I explained that she had twisted it at her boot camp w trainer. I hung up and got to the urgent care 40 min later. When I arrived I was told by "Marie", the desk girl , "that my story didn't match up to my wifes" . I said "what do you mean?" She said that my wife had called in before she got there and said told Marie over the phone ,that she hurt it at work . I told Marie ,with my wife right there , that my wife never called in ,and that I was the only one who called. Marie insisted that she had a conversation with my wife before she came in She said because we told her that the injury happened at work ,we had to make a workman's comp claim. Marie had obviously talked to some other woman with a knee injury. She basically called us liars in the waiting room. She then proceed to tell us that they wouldn't see/treat us . These people are morons. I told them her personal trainer could vouch for the injury from the gym, but they insisted they would not help us. Don't ever go here unless you want to experience the worst in the medical field. read more

Staff is not professional and does not show any type of care or concern. Was seen on Friday and issued an antibiotic which I started taking that day. It was making me feel so nauseous and dizzy I could barely lift my head off the pillow. I thought the symptom's might be better after a couple of days. By Monday I was not feeling any better with these new symptom's or any better from the original symptom's of why I went in Friday in the first place. I called and asked if I could have a new medication phoned in and was told I would have to call the pharmacy and have the pharmacy fax over a request, and allow up to two hours for it to be completed. This was done at 3:30pm on Monday. By 6:30pm on Monday the pharmacy had not heard back so I called back to urgent care and was left on hold for 20 minutes, at that point I decided to just drive over there. At 7:15pm I was told that the request was still on the physician's desk, but that they closed at 8pm and I would be looked at and responded to before they left for the day. Today is now Tuesday and I have called all day, been left on eternal hold and given the run around. Now I'm told they don't even have a request form in my chart and to have the pharmacy refax it. This is very frustrating as I just started a new job and cannot miss another day of work. I have to keep stepping out to make calls and no one over there seems to care. This should be a very simple request. I just got off the phone with them again at now 3:09 pm and was told they will look at it as soon as they are done with the next patient. I asked if they could call me once the new prescription is called into the pharmacy and was told all she could do was put a note on the file but it was not guaranteed as this is not something they usually do. How is this serving the patient? And why are they making sick people run around and jump through hoops? I would not recommend this office. read more

Horrible place. Walked in and their was one person ahead of me and it took over an hour to be seen. They even checked in a few other people as I was waiting and said the online check in was before me which they never told me about when I called and asked about the wait time. Denied medication when I told them I was sick for a day and a half. Said that I have to ride it out. Ended up getting worse and going to the hospital for real care. They have no clue what they are doing here and the staff sits around and talks about personal life and what's for lunch and dinner. Super sad place. read more

They refused to see my 11 years old daughter just because they're not able to verified my insurance after 30 minutes of waiting. This place have zero care, no concern for the health and wellness of the patient. My daughter is very sick with high temperature and bad sore throat. I was kindly talking to one of the staff name Lea, and letting her know that I'm willing to pay cash. She's very rude and her response was "they have the right to refuse anyone because they are private own". It hurts and very sad to think that there's people like her. She even suggested that I should take my daughter to emergency hospital. read more

Unfortunately this place gets a zero in my book. The staff dose not have the curtosity to let you know there is only on PA on duty at the highet of the cold season. So they just keep c he king in more and more patients. Its not till your waiting 3-4 hours till you realize something is wrong. Its when you ask the staff and they tell you "Oh sorry we have only one PA". There were over 20 patients waiting to be seen, ask your self what type of treatment would a PA give you when there busy seeing so many patients. Does a burnout factor matter when dealing with giving medical advice. How about, "Were closed for right now only handling the patients we have" doesn't it make sense?? Why not refer patients to other Urgent Cares once you have meet the reasonable amount one PA can handle. HOW ABOUT SAFETY FIRST!!!! read more

Nice office, but Extremely RUDE STAFF. There is a receptionist and a physician assistant here that are asian (I don't know their names), and they are both EXTREMELY rude and not friendly! It's unfortunate because now I will go elsewhere even though this is a very convenient location. If I could give them no stars I would. I sat for an hour before they asked me to fill a second piece of paper for my changed insurance they needed. I've been sitting here for longer than a hour and a half and 2 people who came after me have been seen before me. The front desk staff is clueless and no help. Won't be coming here ever again. I needed a TB test done for school district. I called to find out if the even did them. The gentleman that I talked to in the phone told me that they did and it would be $35 dollars. I went in the next day with all my paperwork that had to be filled out, and had the test done. They told me the cost would be $45. I explained to them that the person I talked to on to on the phone told me it would be $35, so they might want to let there employees know the cost so they don't tell people the wrong price. It wasn't worth arguing over so I paid and got over it. They told me to come back 48-72 hours after so it could be read. I was told to bring the paperwork back and it would be filled out. When I went back to have the test read I handed the girl my paper to have filled out. She told me it would be an additional $15 to have the form filled out. At that point I was pissed. I told her that I was never told that at my initial appointment. She asked if I presented the paper to them when I came in, told her YES, I did and that would have been nice to know at the first appointment. All she said was sorry. This place obviously needs to work on their training to their employees! read more

I was going on 5 days of being sick. I was seen by a nurse practitioner the second day and my primary care doctor the 4th day both times I was given no more than sore throat louseges and Tylenol with a cough suppressant. Each day I was getting worse the 5th day I had enough so I got approval to come here on a Saturday. I arrived filled out the necessary paper work and didn't wait long to be seen. I was given a breathing treatment and she prescribed me with antibiotics and a steroid for a respitory infection. Next day after taking meds I've felt much better and glad I came here. The staff was nice and the doctor was great... Not sure about the negative comments on here but I was well taken care of in less than an hour. Thank you! read more

Been going here for years. The staff has become so rude. They might want to get off their lazy butts once in awhile and take a class on customer service. The doctors have miss diagnosed my children several times. If they spent half as much time actually working as they do talking about their personal lives they could see so many more patients a day. I actually know the owner of the practice Dr.Kimes and it is a shame he has such an unprofessional staff. The other locations are far better than this one. Absolutely rude. And get more than one doctor on staff per shift.. read more

Took wife in on a Sunday. Staff was extremely nice and supportive. She was seen by PA Amber who was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Facility was very clean and modern. Highly recommended this facility. read more

They aren't people I wouldnt recommend I went in 1st and the doctor told me I had pneumonia to X-rays and blood and showed me fluids in my lungs, they never called me about my blood work so I went back in because I ran out of one of the one of the medicine and they reviewed my chart said I was fine and they weren't allowed to prescribe me the medication that they had already gave me. This place sucks! I took my son here for a possible broken hand. We were taken to the room and he girls didn't bother to check the documents but, questioned whether or not I was his mother which obviously I am because I wrote it on his papers. They do the X-ray and the doctor tells me it's a double fracture & refers me to ortho. My son gets his hand wrapped in a temporary cast and removed from PE. A week later I go to pick up the X-rays because I need them for the ortho appointment I ask for the radiologists notes and they read that the tissue is unremarkable and that not one bone is broken. I bring it to the girls attention and show her the note saying refer to ortho and ask her why didn't anyone call me? She said because it's negative there is nothing to call for unless it's a positive result. I said well I could have been called to say the doctor was wrong and nothing is broken. Her response is that they have a lot of patients and although they would love to call every patient they just don't have the time. I informed her I am not every patient, and seeing as how I was misinformed it should be important to contact me and let me know the doctor made a mistake. Her response is sorry we just don't have the time to call. Wow! Talk about a lack of concern and u professionalism. Never going back again.. read more
