I reached out to Mr McCabe based on the many favorable reviews and I was not at all disappointed. It was very easy to contact Mr McCabe and he was flexible about scheduling the inspection. He arrived on time and was fully equipped with ladder, temperature meter, electrical outlet checker, stick for tapping wood for termite damage, mask, head lamp and knee pads (for thorough attic inspection). He inspected the exterior structure fascia, soffits, grading and landscaping. He climbed onto to the roof and studied the entire roof detecting some broken and loose tiles and even cleaning the dryer vent. In side he carefully turned on all the appliances, checked outlets and checked for termite damage. He used his ladder to thoroughly examine as much of the attic as possible including insulation and evidence rodent droppings. In the garage he detected damaged dry wall and accused the electrical panel. While doing all this he spoke to me and showed his findings and answered my novice questions. His report was flawless and easy to read. I was able to get credit and repairs done by seller. I installed a brand new roof on my house and hired DMI to inspect my house for insurance…read more The results came back negative on the roof from the inspector In fact, my insurance company raised my rate $500 after they received the report My next-door neighbor had the same roofinstalled. His roof had a different inspector and everything came through clean nice I called the roofers. A well established company been around for many years.. in the Naples area and they said same roof that was on the house before I called DMI three or four times and they refused to make any changes in their report. My recommendation is run. Don't walk away from this outfit very very, very disappointing and I'm gonna do my best to inform as many people as I can not to hire them
