I usually travel with my own boards, but I've also rented from plenty of surf shops over the years. I can genuinely say that my experience with every single employee here was absolutely epic. I rented your boards for 5 days & paddled out with the owner who is a splitting image of the operation staff. - friendly, knowledgeable, trusting, flexible, adds value. I also really appreciate the way you price your rentals. $25 for a quality surfboard when many other places are charging considerably more says a lot. You Molu guys clearly care about your customers, their experience, the ocean, Oahu, and the sport of surfing. And a special thank you for how you handled my little mishap! After 18 years of surfing and thousands of waves, I somehow managed to buckle my first surfboard. I caught my best wave of 2026 thought I had kicked out cleanly, and somehow the board came out of it buckled. I felt horrible like the time I was 16 years old & crashed my moms car. But you all treated me with grace and understanding. The staff couldn't have been nicer about it. But there's more! there are batting cages that you can rent or have some hitting time. We usually come here for the boy to hit with Coach Jamie Ahu. Yeah, that Jamie Ahu from UH time. He has three teenage boys that are awesome baseball players. Anyway, the boy practices his hitting with Coach Jamie and most of the time, I am watching him hit. It gets really noisy in the batting cages. My watch tells me that it's too loud! There are screens up that would say where the ball potentially goes depending on how it is hit. It's pretty cool. Anyway, the batting cages make up a good portion of this space. The other portion is the store. The cashier is towards the back. Don't worry, they have to let you in if you are gonna buy something or even look around. I think the prices are fair. But I am not always buying pants, bats, or gloves. If you are a serious ball player, you must come here at least once to check this place out.

This store focuses on baseball equipment and apparel, including shoes, but also has a full indoor area for batting and pitching practice. They have a few dedicated stalls right outside up the ramp, ring bell to be let in. They have jerseys, cleats, gloves, belts, training gear, bats, balls, and anything else you could need. If they don't have the exact thing in stock, they can order it. The associate Ella working that day was very friendly and immediately helpful to find what I needed. I purchased shoes and a belt; they had just the sizes I needed and she was patient to help me find just the right things. I thought their prices were reasonable, plus it's great to support a local business over ordering online and potentially not getting what you need on time. I'd love to come back and check out the cages sometime soon. If you're a baseball fan or need equipment for school or community leagues, this is a great spot!

For a brief moment I enjoyed joining a 5K and 10K walks/runs and with that I had no idea what type of shoes is for me as many recommend what is the best somehow it jut never really worked for me though the stability and comfort is what many brands to encourage they have my feet just says differently. There are moments when packet pick ups was here at the Running Room and with that I always somehow never leave without purchasing something as they just have so many items besides shoes and socks and the perfect location on Kapahulu with free parking does make it an easy place to shop as well and on this sad to hear of its closure did take me by surprise so I just had to pay them a visit and I guess many have known about it as basically majority of their inventory has already been sold. Luckily for my larger sized feet there was my size left though the color situation was sparse understandably I did find one that looked promising and decided to get my very first pair of Hoka. I haven't treated myself to a brand new shoe in years so it felt like a cloud but being cautious since my legs hurt the next day. Not exactly sure when their last will be but glad to have given them one final visit and hope that the future will grand for this part of Kapahulu. Thank you!

She immediately put my mind at ease and her customer service quickly exceeded my expectations! She explained exactly what they carried, checked their current stock, and put some items on the side for me so I could come down and try them on. Once we arrived, she was incredibly patient and helpful. My son came along with me and had a ton of questions of his own, and Taylor was just as patient and thorough with him. We walked out with my new base layers, and even my son commented on how the store was filled with staff who had customer service just flowing out of their pores!
