I joined the new Aloha Vintage Base Ball Association this year, which had led me to businesses I never knew existed. This is one of them, and boy is it cool. This store focuses on baseball equipment and apparel, including shoes, but also has a full indoor area for batting and pitching practice. They have a few dedicated stalls right outside up the ramp, ring bell to be let in. They have jerseys, cleats, gloves, belts, training gear, bats, balls, and anything else you could need. If they don't have the exact thing in stock, they can order it. The associate Ella working that day was very friendly and immediately helpful to find what I needed. I purchased shoes and a belt; they had just the sizes I needed and she was patient to help me find just the right things. I thought their prices were reasonable, plus it's great to support a local business over ordering online and potentially not getting what you need on time. I'd love to come back and check out the cages sometime soon. If you're a baseball fan or need equipment for school or community leagues, this is a great spot! read more

What is this place? Well, if you are into baseball or softball or maybe even pickleball, this is the place to get your gear. But there's more! there are batting cages that you can rent or have some hitting time. We usually come here for the boy to hit with Coach Jamie Ahu. Yeah, that Jamie Ahu from UH time. He has three teenage boys that are awesome baseball players. Anyway, the boy practices his hitting with Coach Jamie and most of the time, I am watching him hit. It gets really noisy in the batting cages. My watch tells me that it's too loud! There are screens up that would say where the ball potentially goes depending on how it is hit. It's pretty cool. Anyway, the batting cages make up a good portion of this space. The other portion is the store. The cashier is towards the back. Don't worry, they have to let you in if you are gonna buy something or even look around. I think the prices are fair. But I am not always buying pants, bats, or gloves. If you are a serious ball player, you must come here at least once to check this place out. read more

Love coming to Hardball for all my sons (and my) baseball needs. Always love peeking into the vault to see if they brought any of the new Wilson or Mizuno gloves in. They do offer glove steaming service (for a fee) to help break in gloves if you don't want to do it the old fashioned way. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They always carry a good selection of items but sometimes do sell out fast due to limited quantifies from the manufacturer. They have a full cage on the side for hitting and fielding lessons that are offered. Highly recommended, go check them out. One of only baseball equipment stores in town. read more

Hardball and Takoeye. All I can say is tiiiiiight! First off on Hardball. Great selection of equipment and clean and modern up to date batting cages and faculties. Service is always good and treats us like family. We are there almost weekly. Then you got Rick of Takoeye for Sports Photography. Have done composites half dozen times maybe more and it's solid. We totally love this little baseball/softball nook! It has everything you need...one stop shop! It even has an batting cage! We've been here before to change out the batting tape on a few of my son's bats. Very fast, efficient & friendly. Boy...do they love to talk shop...where you from...who do you play for!
