The service with Juan and his team was fast, clean and with a great result. We had a leak in our ceiling and they did a great job in one day!. Thank you so much!

It's easy to give a company a good review right after they finish a job. I think you learn a lot…read moremore about a company when you call them 12 years later with a problem. Triad Basement Waterproofing originally did work at our Gaithersburg home about 12 years ago. Recently, we discovered that the drain from that original system had clogged and our sump pump had also stopped working. I reached out to Triad and was honestly impressed with how quickly they responded. Within about 12 hours I had heard back from them, and Justin was at our house the following day. He replaced the bad sump pump and made sure everything was working properly. He then returned on Monday to replace the clogged drain. Justin was fantastic. What really stood out was his attention to detail. He was extremely thorough, took pride in what he was doing, and cleaned everything up so well that the area was spotless when he left. But the biggest reason I'm writing this review is that Triad stood behind basement waterproofing work they had done more than a decade ago. There was no runaround and no trying to avoid responsibility. They simply took care of the problem. After 12 years, that kind of service says a lot about a company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Triad to anyone looking for basement waterproofing or sump pump work in the Gaithersburg area.

Mike DeGirolamo - the owner - during his assessment provided step-by-step explanation of what needed to be done to address this issue. He was very thorough and clear in his explanations. He did not try to 'upsell' or include items that were not necessary. Prior to work starting a timeline was provided. Timeline detailed team arriving over the course of 3 days and what to expect during this time. The Triad team - Michael, Justin and Roberto - arrived as scheduled on their assigned days. Before starting work for that day they again went over every detail of what they would be doing. Master plumber Justin Dorrier was amazing in his handling of the plumbing side of this process. His attention to detail and explanations clearly showed his professionalism and knowledge as a master plumber. I did much research and obtained multiple estimates from about 5-6 different waterproofing companies before selecting Triad. Triad was by far the company I was most impressed with. I highly recoommend Triad Basement and Waterproofing if you have any waterproofing needs. They are all (Mike, Tracey, Michael, Justin and Roberto) true professionals at what they do and were a pleasure to work with --- I wish I could give them 10 stars! Thank-you Triad Team!

While he still gave me an estimate for his services, he also recommended another contractor! This is a rare honesty and care for the client. The other contractor came out and was able to help me. I am very thankful to Steve for being so honest and accommodating. I wish there more people like him. I will certainly recommend him to anyone and will keep his contact information for future landscaping projects as he has shown himself as very honest and trustworthy. Thank you, Steve!

After we bought it we discovered evidence of flooding in the basement & then when heavy rain came we experienced it. They dug down to the footing on the 2 sides where I discovered leaks, repaired the cracks, parched & tarred it and graded the fill away from the house. They took care when working under existing structures such as stairs. It's been over a year & haven't had a problem since. The crew took things seriously, respected my property (a lot of guys leave trash laying around) & were eager to show me each step as they took it. They even placed some slate pavers I had laying about from my driveway to the kitchen door free of charge after they had asked about them & I casually mentioned that was my intention. Would definitely hire again.

The initial sales person was a classic over-seller and promised the world while simultaneously doing a very surface-level review of the situation, ultimately concluding that we were in need of an indoor water mitigation system and sump pump. The sales process was tortured, over-the-top, and ended with the classic "same-day-only discount" proposal (red flag number 1). The scheduling process and lead-up to the project was radio-silent with no preparation on what to do or what to expect from the project manager or the sales person until I reached out proactively. I had to call the morning the project was set to begin to even know if they were coming or not (red flag number 2). The project itself eventually began and within less than an hour it became obvious the source of the leak was in fact a burst pipe and not ground water coming in through the basement. I called the office and put a stop order on the work at which point they immediately became very cagey about what options were available to me and from this point on once again went radio silent (red flag number 3). Upon reaching out to the office multiple times (via both email and phone) to address the issue and seek at least a partial refund of our deposit for the issue, they took 3+ days to even respond, and when they did, claimed that despite obvious pictures pointing to the pipe being the issue, it could have been ground water at the same time and they were unable to provide any refund of any kind (red flag number 4). I get that I signed a contract. I get that they planned and scheduled the work. I also now have learned an expensive lesson about trusting my gut and being more proactive about my concerns. But they're supposed to be the experts! And the fact that they took absolutely no responsibility for having done a poor assessment of the situation up-front and then pretended like they were actually still right about it was disappointing and embarrassing. I can't in good faith recommend working with this company to anyone.
