I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience has been frustrating enough to warrant one -- and I want to warn others before they go through the same ordeal. This company was contracted through GE for a warranty appliance repair, and from start to finish the process was extremely unprofessional and poorly managed. First, after the initial service visit to diagnose the appliance, no information was entered into their system for over a week. This alone caused unnecessary delays in moving the repair process forward. We were then told that the replacement part had been ordered and were given an estimated delivery date -- however, when the part was delayed/back-ordered, no one proactively communicated that update to us. The most concerning issue is their complete lack of communication. Calls routinely go unanswered. On multiple occasions, the phone was either never picked up, immediately hung up, or routed to voicemail with no return call. Messages left were never acknowledged. Scheduling is equally unreliable. When service appointments are set with a stated arrival window, there is no follow-up, no courtesy call, and no real accountability. Technicians either arrive 1-2 hours late or do not show up at all. It's disappointing that a major manufacturer like GE would outsource warranty service to a company operating at this level of disorganization and unresponsiveness. Warranty repairs are already inconvenient for customers -- the service experience should make things easier, not more difficult. I strongly caution others against using this business if you have any alternative options. Save yourself the time, frustration, and lack of follow-through that we experienced. ASR: Actively Shirking Responsibility ​We were unfortunately referred to ASR through our home warranty for a refrigerator repair. A technician showed up on a Friday, just hours before a long holiday weekend, and promised to submit a work order to our insurance company. ​He never bothered to submit the work order. After we made multiple infuriating phone calls to follow up, we discovered they were screening our calls. They would pick up on the first ring when we called from a different phone, but ignore our number. It became clear that ASR had no intention of doing their job, leaving us to do their work for them and submit the order ourselves. ​Because of this stunning lack of professionalism and follow-through, we were left without a functioning refrigerator for two full, miserable weeks. My Thermador built-in refrigerator was not defrosting properly and water was accumulating in the refrigerator section. Another repair company could not find the cause. Signature repair diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired the refrigerator. The technicians are very knowledgeable and courteous and I would recommend them. read more

WARNING this company is 100 percent a scam I couldn't believe when I read a similar review. They came out through sears home warranty and said the motor on our washer machiene was broken. Understood. But apparently they told sears home warranty nothing was wrong so my claim is denied. **Attention:** Beware of this company. In July, I initiated a home warranty claim to repair my range and replace the motor on my exhaust fan. Signature Repairs accepted over $900 from Old Republic Home Warranty as authorization for these repairs in August. However, since that time, they have failed to complete the work, have not returned to my home since the initial inspection and quote in July, and have made no further contact. Despite multiple attempts to reach them via phone, no one has answered, and my voicemails remain unanswered. As a result, I have been without a functioning range and exhaust fan for over two and a half months. This prolonged delay and lack of communication is both unprofessional and unacceptable. This company showed up to diagnose my new oven for an already determined gas leak from a defective regulator. The person did not speak English. When I tried to determine why they had not called 30 minutes in advance of arrival as stated, he kept saying yes and called the company. The number coming into line was not their number nor came in 30 minutes ahead if time. There was also no voicemail message left as they stated they would leave. After this discussion, instead of completing the service call he just walked off the premises. Despite my telling him to come back he got in his car and left. He appeared to have a Russian accent. I would not recommend this company. GE provided them as my appliance is under warranty. I called at least 30 times to reschedule after he left, but they refused to answer the phone between 4-5 pm. They close weekdays at 5 pm. It's obvious that GE sought out the cheapest company they could find to make a diagnosis and repair. read more

TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL DO NOT RECOMMEND! Called Costco for an issue with my GE washing machine, they confirmed it was still under warranty and patched me through with the manufacturer to schedule an appointment. GE gave me a list of appointment availabilities to choose from, scheduled my appointment, confirmed the washer was STILL UNDER WARRANTY, and sent an email to confirm my appointment was scheduled for the following Friday btwn 8am-12pm. Today, Friday rolls around and no phone call until 12:02pm. The phone rings ONE TIME and ends... expecting it to be the technician calling to say they're arriving soon and just running late, I immediately call the number back and get a women who answers the call with an attitude "HELLO" so I explain I just received a call from this number and she tells me, with ATTITUDE and as if I'm bothering her, that she called to set up an appointment for my washer... At this point I'm totally confused and upset because I took time off work to stay home for this appointment. I tell her that my appointment WAS CONFIRMED for today and I even have an email from GE confirming the appointment and listing them as the Servicer; To which she argues claiming they called me a wk ago and left me a voice message trying to schedule this appointment but I never called them back, blaming me for THEIR mistake and insinuating I'm lying.... yes ma'am I totally gaslit myself into believing a non-existing appointment was made so I can take half a day off of work. BFFR. She then sets me up for another appointment next wk but before hanging up slips in that I need to call GE to get a case number and share that number with them before the technician arrives OR ELSE I'll be charged a $99 service fee cause I'm showing up as out of warranty in their system... THE AUDACITY. Coincidence I receive a phone call exactly 2mins after my appointment timeframe ended? Coincidence my phone ONLY rang 1x before the call ended so the lady could get my voicemail? DO NOT use this service repair company unless you have no choice because you are under warranty and at the discretion of the manufacturer. I'm currently on the phone with GE to request a new appointment from a different contractor that is professional, has basic decency, and basic customer service skills. I will let GE know and hopefully this company has enough bad reviews that GE drops them as a contractor. read more

I'd give a zero rating if I could. Over $200 in "repairs " later , and after waiting 6 weeks to get and install a part needed to "repair" the washer, my machine STILL doesn't work. The technician originally told me the washer was never installed properly and needed a new hose. Now 6 weeks later on his return visit and after installing the new hose, the machine still doesn't work. Technicia now says the problem isn't with the machine , it's with the water valves and that only a plumber can help me. Wouldn't that have been nice to know on his FIRST visit! Now I am left with a big repair bill with no repair accomplished and a washer full of wet clothes until the plumber can arrive and hopefully fix the problem. Not happy! read more

A signature repair representative came out to fix the HDMI board on my 65" Samsung tv. Let's just say he totally damaged my television he opened it with a screwdriver leaving indentations on the frame and also broke off some clips., this was in Def of 2019. I've been going back and forth with walmart to get the damage resolved and they washed their hands saying they contracted A signature Repair and they should get back to me. Well let's just say all these months later I've had no resolve. Never again will I buy from Walmart if this is who they contract and then take no responsibility for it. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I needed service ASAP as my dishwasher wasn't draining and the water was very dirty and smelly, so my home insurance company assigned them to me. First, I was offered a Saturday appointment about a week out, so I scheduled it only to be called back a day before that they "don't work on Saturdays" and "don't know how the appointment was scheduled." Their next appointment was TWO weeks later and they couldn't find a way to get me in sooner. When the tech came out, he barely looked inside my dishwasher, said I needed a certain piece fixed, and left. Was at my place less than 5 minutes. That night, my dishwasher ended up flooding and ruining my new floors in our new home. So now I had to pay $1,000 for emergency plumbing to help stop the leak, who said it should have been caught by the company who came out that day. I also now have to take out another insurance claim to replace and dry my floors and my kitchen. I called back to get them to come back out so that my insurance will say that I can have a new dishwasher. I was told I would be called back for an appointment. Waited... waited... a week later I called again. Again, told the same thing. It's been two weeks with no appointment now. I am calling my insurance to request a new company. I had an appliance go on the fritz and it was fortunately covered by Home Depot insurance I purchased. I called them and they said that I was covered and so they called Signature Repair to come do the service. When the repairman arrived he looked at the appliance and said he had to go back and call the insurance to make sure he could do the repair. I told him they were the ones that arranged for it so it must be approved. He said that's protocol and left. Then the company called and told me the same thing and I said it's pretty weird because the insurance called them to do it. The next day I got a note from the insurance saying the job was completed. So I had to tell them it absolutely wasn't and please contact a new company to do the work. DO NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY IN YOUR HOME!! DO NOT TRUST HOME WARRANTY COMPANIES!!If I were able to give these two companies zero stars, I would. I called my home warranty, First American, for a refrigerator/freezer repair. My 26 yr old Kitchen-Aide stopped working on July 1, 2018. Due to the upcoming holiday, I was told a contractor would not be able to come out for at least 10 days. I did not feel this was acceptable, called back for another referral and Signature was able to come out on July 5th. What a mistake. Joe came out, said he could repair the unit but I would have to leave my appliance unplugged for 48 hrs to "defrost my control board". This sounded spurious, as the appliance wasn't working, but OK. After calling "someone", he told me the part was no longer available to fix the appliance, he would have to contact First American and left. Nothing else was mentioned. NOTHING..... The following Monday, I received a call from First American, indicating my claim had been denied for repair due to an infestation, originally stated as ants. Several calls later to First Am, I spoke with a "customer service" person. She said the control board failed due to a fly infestation. She forwarded me pics of an enclosed, interior compartment, that had to be completely taken apart, inside the refrigerator showing 9 flies. Joe NEVER mentioned this aspect. Remember this is a 26 yr old appliance that had never had a penny spent on it since I purchased it in 1992. I have zero idea how flies got inside my unit, but I seriously doubt they were the cause the appliance failure. According to First Am, I had absolutely zero recourse. None! I was employed as a code enforcement officer/inspector for 17 yrs and I know what an infestation of vermin (ants, roaches, rats etc) looks like. 9 flies is not an infestation! To currently have 9 flies inside my 26 yr old refrigerator, causing the unit to fail, would surely indicate a swarm of flies would have to be buzzing around inside my house. With the outdoor temp well in excess of 100° during the last week, I can assure you my doors/windows have not been opened and all are screened, dual paned. So, now after paying premiums to cover such unexpected home repairs, I now have to go purchase a new costly appliance. I am a retired, disabled, single, senior citizen on a pension and this is financially upending. CAUTION: I have been paying home warranty premiums since the 1992 and switched to First Am due to several calamitous "not covered repairs - spa, AC (twice), other kitchen appliances" with another home warranty company. Last year I learned from contractors, who rely on home warranty companies for business, they are virtually required to submit "not covered repair conditions" if they wish to receive future referrals. Got stuck working with this company because of my home warranty ( First American Home Warranty and they will also be getting a 1 star review ). Had an issue with the dishwasher where the soap container wouldn't open and the front panel was falling off, so the tech ordered the part for the soap dispenser and replaced it... same issues continued so they came out again this time they said it needed to have a maintenance service after sticking a screw driver in the latch and breaking something off, the home warranty denied any future claims on the dishwasher saying that it needs a maintenance service. I still have the front panel of the dishwasher falling off and the soap dispenser still isn't opening. At the same time. I had an issue with my oven. The circuitboard on the oven was acting weird. Oven was turning off, chiming randomly, resetting the temperature, timers, etc but it was intermittent. First tech said they couldn't do anything because it wasn't happening when he tested it. The problem continued so I complained to our home warranty company a tech was called again ( Same time as the dishwasher ) I told him what was going on and he said its definitely the circuitboard and he would order the part. So I said there is also something weird where it seems like the oven door isn't closing if you wanna check that out out as well. Low and behold on this guys write up to the home warranty company he doesn't mention anything with the circuit board issues I was having, he only mentions that the oven door doesn't close correctly and it is a preexisting issue. That was a fun conversation with the home warranty company when I asked why he was mentioning the oven door and not the circuitboard issues. This company is shady and will write whatever they can to get the home warranty to deny claims and try to get you to hirer them to replace or repair your products for a fee. read more

Negative stars it is! I will try and make this short and sweet because this is a SAGA I have been dealing with for two months. I have a Haier washer/dryer combo and dealing with this company is like trying to teach a newborn how to say momma! It ain't happening. My machine stopped working while under warranty (which is another issue in itself) the company sent the same man out twice who only replaced the drain the first time and did nothing the second time. This genius said we needed two men for the job and that we had to pay for it - $150.00!! Here is where the saga begins. Why would we have to pay if we are under warranty? I called GE and even THEY had problems with this company. GE said a second person is covered and whatever part is needed GE will order it. GE expedited the parts and the parts sat in my home for a month waiting for a second person to come. Signature still sends the same man who says AGAIN he needs a second person. So we reschedule and today - 2 WEEKS LATER - then send an elderly small man ALONE who fixes the machine. It is now spinning and draining. I wouldn't trust this company to close my front door let alone fix something honestly. They clearly stalled my machine fix trying to get money out of us. GE stepped in and dealt with them and had just as much difficulty as we did. This is escalated to GE's customer relations dept and I would LOVE for them to come off of their vendor list. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE!!!! I am beyond pissed with this company so prepare yourself for a HUGE rant. I wish i can give 0 stars! First off I got this company as my service provider to fix my dishwasher from my homeowners insurance and they didn't call me I HAD to call them! Normally when you place a service repair call, the contractor company calls you to set up an appointment. They came and diagnosed my dishwasher problem on 7/9/15 and two weeks passed by and not one update call from them. So I called my insurance company to ask what the status was and was told ASR had no ETA on the part and they will call me once it's in. Being the nice person I am I said sure and waited another two weeks, which by now it's the first week of August. Again not one ring from these guys! So I called my insurance to ask the progress and they did their thing and called ASR and ASR told them it should be here on the 10th. Ok fine I'll wait again, 10th rolled by and nothing; I thought maybe I'll give them a couple of days to call me. NOTHING I called my insurance and they called ASR and they told my insurance that it just got shipped out on the 13th. WTF!???!! What do you mean it JUST got shipped out?! So does that mean when ASR said they "didn't have an ETA on parts" they actually meant "we didn't actually ordered the parts yet"??? Wth were you guys doing for a whole effin month?? I wanted to scream but I kept my composure, the only reason why I haven't switched out the contractor is because I would have to go through this whole process again of having another company come out and diagnose and wait and blah blah. Who the heck wants to go through this nightmare again? And on top of that there's a service fee which I'm sure the insurance company will cover since it's their fault for giving me such a crap company. Anyways so I was told that it should now be here on the 14th or 17th and I will get a call once the parts came in. GUESS WHAT?? It's the 17th and NO CALL. I called the insurance and they called ASR and finally the part is here. So ummm WTH why didn't they call me?? Instead I had to call my insurance to figure out this info??? The insurance said they should be calling me shortly. EF THAT! I've been way too patient and I'm calling them personally. The receptionist who picked up was not friendly which shouldn't be a shocker because it's fitting for such a company. She told me the lady who's in charge of my service already left but will call me tomorrow. WHAT? How can that be? I was just told by my insurance 10 minutes I'll get a call shortly but she just left??? I asked "So what happens if I don't get a call? What will happen then?" The receptionist goes "ma'am she will call you tomorrow." I proceed to ask the same question "I know I'm just saying what if? Because I was told this a lot during a month and a half of this waiting game." And the receptionist's tone got rude AF and said "MA'AM SHE WILL CALL YOU TOMORROW" I'm pretty pissed at this point so I said "Fine, bye." and hung up. If I don't receive this call tomorrow I'm going to definitely report them to the company for their crappiness, lies, and overall attitude and switch contractors and pray my next company won't be like this nightmare. Beware!!! Look elsewhere! I submitted a ticket with First American Home Warranty end of January. Signature Repair was provided the ticket quickly and after not hearing from them in over a week and paying my deductible, I called and the next available appt was an extra week or two. The technician came and left very quickly and mentioned he was going to need to order a part. After a full week of not hearing anything I called both Signature Repair and mentioned they were waiting to hear back from First American Home Warranty. After a few more details with daily calls I then called First American and they mentioned they have not received any tickets/submission from Signature Repair. After a few more calls and another week it was determined they were going to order the part and have it installed a week later. We then received another call the day of and mentioned they ordered the wrong part or they received a broken part and were going to have to reorder and take another week and a half. Today is 3/25/2021 and over (2) full months the technician finally came and installed the part and is working now. However, the technician had an awful smell as I don't believe he was wearing any deodorant and our entire house smell of nasty body order and sweat (Disgusting!) We have our windows fully opened with all candles lit. I truly recommend looking elsewhere and if First American Home Warranty schedules it under Signature Repair, call them and ask them to use another provider! read more

After calling LG for a warranty TV repair, they scheduled me Signature Repair. First thing I did was research online and I was shocked at all the negative reviews. I immediately called LG and said please assign me another company because the reviews on Yelp are terrible. The lady at LG said not to worry because if Signature Repair doesn't accept the job then they will assign someone else. Fast forward to today, a TV tech named Edward came out and fixed my connectivity issue with my magic remote. He replaced the wifi/bluetooth board and did a hard reset on my TV and everything worked. I told him that on Yelp the reviews are terrible but he said that is possibly due to appliances because what customer wants to be without a working fridge for weeks to months.
