ALEX, came performed diagnostic check on our LG Washer . within 15 minutes he concluded which part needs to be replaced. he carried the part with him. repair was completed in 45 minutes. before Alex, my home appliance warranty provider sent a representative from Progressive Appliance & HVAC Repair. I'm giving Alex 5 stars for several reasons. Number one is his knowledge and education regarding my washing machine. He patiently explained to me and my family the different cycles, pros and cons of different types of washers, best practices, and maintenance. Number two was his response time! I called him at 9:30am, he was at my house at 11:30am, fixed my washer that wouldn't drain, cleaned after himself and was done by 12:30pm. I had a load in by 1pm. Thirdly he was professional, friendly and patient with me. Fourth was his price. My dryer stop heating. I called around to different appliance repair places this one was able to check my model number and call me back with a " ball park" cost of what I would be paying. Alex then told me he was in the area and could stop by within a half hour or so. He came by checked the vent and filter and checked the pilot. It's Sunday and my dryer door won't close. The place I used before is closed on Sundays so thanks to Yelp and all the great reviews I called Alex. After texting him the model number of my dryer and my address he showed up in no time. The connecter part on the dryer where the door prong goes in is what broke (it fell inside the unit) and he showed me that my dryer comes with the option of opening the door on either side so the part needed was already there on the other side. Instead of charging me for a replacement part he just took it from the dryer and used it, only charging the service fee.
