    Monique is the best! My daughter had her dream wedding recently. Everything turned out so perfectly. Such a once in a life time event needs a perfect planner! Monique is a very patient, organized, responsible and unique person. She did so much for my daughter for this entire process: wedding planning, vendor selection, venue design, rental show case, napkin designs, etc. She responded to every single message quickly and kept my daughter and I stress free. I'm so happy about the final outcome of my daughter's dream wedding. Monique is more than just good, she is incredible! I will definitely have her to plan my younger daughter's wedding soon

    We would like to thank Monique as the invaluable part of our wedding! From our very first Zoom meeting to the actual wedding day, Monique had been extremely helpful and understanding to our needs. At times, we can be uncertain about what we want for our wedding, but Monique has made the preparing process very comfortable for us.     Monique is the best! We met her when she planned my sister-in-law's beautiful wedding a few years ago. She has quickly become the go-to planner for our family and friends. We highly recommend a Signature Wedding to everyone looking for an incredible planner. Monique is passionate about events, you can tell she loves what she does. She is very dedicated and takes the time on every single detail. Her work is an excellent value - she does so much! Before working with Monique, I didn't appreciate why it's so awesome to have a professional planner for your wedding. And now I don't know what we would have done without her!! We worked with her from the start, when we were identifying a venue, up through the day of. Monique transformed a friend's backyard for our ceremony and reception. There are SO many details that go into a wedding, and she made sure we stayed on track with our planning. Even with all the moving parts, her attention to detail was incredible. She always went above and beyond to find options i.e. every single bistro style chair for rent in the LA area. On top of all that, the goalposts were constantly moving with the changing rules around the pandemic. Monique pivoted with us many many times and I joked that she was our wedding therapist too. She's also incredibly professional, and totally unflappable, nothing throws her. She was awesome with all the vendors, our family, and the homeowners. Taking in the setting for the wedding for the first time was WOW WOW WOW! Everything was more beautiful than we could have imagined. The day was completely seamless and most importantly, we were able to enjoy every moment knowing Monique was running the show.     I would highly recommend A Signature Wedding. Monique is absolutely the best wedding coordinator you could ask for. Both my brother and sister had used A Signature Wedding for their special days over 15 years ago. When I started planning my wedding I immediately thought about Monique. I remembered from their weddings how prepared and organized she was. Both my sister and sister-in-law highly recommended her as well. We hired A Signature Wedding for our Day of Coordinator for our wedding at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point, CA. She was way more than our Day of Coordinator. Monique met with me over the phone multiple times to check in and help with Vendors. She contacted our vendors multiple times to check in and support them with any questions that they had. She worked closely with our venue to answer questions and to schedule a walk through with our vendors. On our rehearsal day, she was there to walk our wedding party and families through the wedding reception. She had a planned out timeline of each step of the day. She allowed our wedding party and families to be prepared for the day. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! This was all thanks to the talented and organized work of Monique and her assistant. If anything did go wrong on our day, I had no idea on the day off and still don't today. She made the day absolutely relaxing and fun!     My wedding was May 2018 at Terranea resort. When I first started calling around to wedding planners I Immediately felt comfortable and safe when talking with Monique. Throughout the whole process we just grew closer and closer together and she continued to amaze me with her professionalism and organization. Monique went above and beyond she spent countless hours with me and made the whole process leading up to the wedding go so smoothly. The day of the wedding was magical thanks to Monique and her crew, I felt like a princess with a whole team dedicated to me.     Monique and her team did an incredible job for our September wedding in Palos Verdes! She was incredibly helpful from day one, throughout the entire planning process for our wedding. Her organizational skills and attention to detail was unbelievable, as a former event planner myself I was blown away my Monique! She was familiar with my venue and was extremely helpful in suggesting certain things, table placements, stations for coffee and dessert and made me feel like we had been friends for years! A Signature Wedding team executed our big day flawlessly, even with my large 20 person wedding party (not an easy task!!) I cannot imagine trying to coordinate all the moving parts that went into our special day with out Monique and her team.     Monique is an absolute superstar! We had multiple factors along the way including planning a wedding from Australia with guests from both Australia and the UK as well as the US. There were so many dynamics at play and this was all pre lockdown with COVID around the corner. I cannot put into words how great Monique was.     I just got married last Friday at Terranea spa resort, and we went through many wedding planners until we found Monique, she's a Perfectionist, I was really specific with what I wanted, in terms of decoration and it was quite complicated, I even wanted a unicorn to walk to to the aisle ! But Monique accomplished everything to PERFECTION. I had a fairytale as a wedding and Monique is responsible for that.     It is hard to put into words the amount of love and gratitude we feel for Monique and her team! We first met when she was my sisters coordinator for her wedding and baby shower, every guest at that wedding was blown away by how much fun, seamless, and beautiful every moment/every detail was during their special day.     Hiring A Signature Wedding was the best decision we ever made for our wedding. Monique impressed us from the moment she came to my parent's house with her professionalism and formal presentation. She helped guide us throughout the process in finding the perfect vendors, making the best decisions, and always making us feel comfortable in being honest in what we liked and disliked. She worked with us through design, timelines, and big and little decisions. Monique is always calm and adapts well to every situation. Even the things that may have gone unnoticed by others or were unseen to the guests meant a TON to me. If there were any problems, Monique was always there to help solve them. She has the perfect temperament for a wedding planner and I am SO grateful we chose her. Not to mention all the many ways she went above and beyond (reminding us to work on our marriage license, when to purchase our rings etc.). All of the little details in addition to the big wedding day details were beyond helpful for us to achieve what we did. Having a wedding at Saddlerock Ranch is a bit more complicated because you have to bring everything yourself, including rentals, power, catering, etc. Throughout the entire planning process, Melissa was extremely responsive, organized, and made you feel like your wedding was the only one she was working on or cared about. She is one of the kindest women and has a positive attitude to make you always feel at ease. I have to say I didn't once feel stressed about planning because I knew everything was in good hands. I don't understand how Melissa and her team do it, but honestly, my whole wedding day felt like magic. The timeline was always on time or even ahead of schedule and if an issue arose her team would handle it in a calm manner with a smile on their face (something I could never do!). For example, I left my veil at the hotel room (30 minute drive roundtrip) and Hailey delivered it to me 5 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle. All my guests, including myself, groom, and family were all out of there at the end time @ 12 a.m. and her team stayed until at least 2 a.m. breaking down. Melissa and her team were worth every penny and if I ever have to plan a large event in the future they are at the top of my list!     Horrible experience, stay away!…read more This is a review for Eliza at BEL Events for her wedding planning services. We met Eliza at our venue 8 month before our wedding date. During the first session she presented herself well, and she talked and bragged a lot about her 18 yrs of experience in event planning and stories about how she handles wedding situations. So, we thought she is the right event planner for us and signed a contract. After signing the contract and making the payment, she was very hard to find and we did not see the expected action from her side, and every time we followed up, her response was: "don't worry I will manage everything before the wedding day". We were asking for the basics of planning such as timeline, vendor recommendations (a few to choose from) and communications (which was part of the contract) but not no action except a quote of her own rental service. We were getting closer to the wedding date and her lack of action made us so worried and very frustrated. Eventually we had to get involved and did almost 90% of the work ourselves. She was very hard to find but even when we could talk to her, she would create more unnecessary problems to an extant that my wife had panic attacks after a few meetings we had with her. 2 month before our wedding she caused so much anxiety and frustration that we decided to end our contract with her and find another planner. Thankfully, our new planner was amazing and our Wedding planning went very smooth after that, and the event was as wonderful as we could imagine! With way lower cost than what Eliza had proposed! After I requested to cancel the contract she disappeared and never responded to our emails, which is very unprofessional. Here is a list of a few issues from our experience of working with here: 1- Accessibility: every time we had a question or needed to talk to her, it was taking several days until she gets back to us. With irrelevant excuses, like she would show me her busy google calendar! 2- Push to use her own services as vendors: Per her contract she had to suggest different vendors so we can choose. But since she has rental and flower services, she was arguing so much to stop us from even looking at other options! She charges unnecessarily expensive! By doing a little research, we found our vendors and saved at least 50% with same or better quality! 3- Nonsense arguments and rude attitude: In many occasions she was just insisting on holding the event the way SHE wants, without paying attention to our request or desire. Every time we requested something, her answer was: "I don't want MY event to be that way or I don't want MY guests to be that way"!!! With a condescending attitude emphasizing that "I have 18 yrs of experience and I know what to do"!!! Any simple request would become a long story and unnecessary argument. In one occasion my wife requested that guests throw flower petals while walking out of aisle, and she immediately said: "No!, you can't do that, I don't want my cleaning crew spend time on cleaning the petals"!!!! In another occasion Eliza was insisting on only using her recommended valet service (which was quoting more than double the price of the service we eventually used) and on top of it she was forcing us to rent extra parking lot out of venue and pay extra for shuttle service!!!! While the venue had enough capacity! And when I respectfully said: I am confident that the venue has enough capacity for parking, she got very angry and said: "in that case tell all your guests to use UBER and they can't drive their own car"!!! It was a nightmare working with BEL Events and I don't recommend her service due to lack of professionalism and decency in her business.

From start to finish, the whole process was absolutely seamless. Mike and Robyn are SO organized and top of things, and made the process so simple for us! All of the vendors were provided to us and were all incredible! The florist, DJ, catering company, decorations, videographer, Photo Booth,, all of it! Both Mike and Robyn are extremely personable, very responsive and easy to talk to. The whole planning process went extremely smoothly and we were so excited for the outcome and to see it all come together. We were absolutely blown away the day of our wedding!!!! Their team is absolutely incredible as well. By the time we showed up to the venue, most everything was put together already and everyone was working so hard and so well together to make our day exactly the way we envisioned it. Florals: I had a whimsical vision for my flowers and I wanted it to look like bursts of stars. I am lucky I didn't have any preferences on specific flowers, but Cindy gave a very detailed list of the florals she would use in our quote which I appreciated. When I saw everything the morning of, it was soo beautiful against the blue sky. It looked elegant, gentle, and had that little bit of whimsy. Any floral decor for the tea ceremony was also transported to our reception where it was repurposed for the sweethearts table!! Coordination: There is a saying that if you didn't notice anything that means you had a good experience. Mostly for user experience in websites, but the same can be applied here. I'm an easily stressed out gal so I knew having a day-of-coordinator would be beneficial. There were logistics that were super important, but it would have never crossed my mind had Cindy not brought it to my attention. At the reception, Cindy and her team made sure to have it run as smoothly as it can. They took care of all the setup, communicated with the vendors, and cued us for the next event / activity so we could finish in a timely manner. Thinking back on the day, I didn't have to worry about a thing and just floated around like a jellyfish. Cindy is punctual, detail-oriented, friendly, and personable. Her team is just as kind and wonderful. They even helped me get a lil bug out of my dress without skipping a beat. I was deciding between venues and ultimately went with Venue by Three Petals per the astounding recommendation of a bride who also had hers here in 2021. Having had my wedding in September 2023, I can definitely attest to the great things that have been said about this venue. Planning a wedding of ~250 guests was definitely not the easiest thing to do but I was so lucky to have worked with Jenn throughout the process. She has been instrumental from beginning to end. Her professionalism, attention to detail, patience, and accommodations... The accolades go on! She knew what little pieces to add to make the wedding really stand out. Her work with the floral chandelier was amazing! I had given her the floral design deck provided by my florist and she did such an outstanding job with coordinating it. My guests can not stop raving about the food and the generous portions!! We opted for seven courses that included the hors d'oeuvres and it was one of the best decisions I've made. We had multiple meetings regarding design, the timeline and everything that was involved. The meeting that we had at the venue, Ijou was there to ask questions that we didn't think of and made sure to help answer any questions that the venue had for us later. Like any planned event, the wedding did have its share of problems but IM Events was there to put most of the fires and I only had to deal with minimal issues that no one could foresee. My fiancé and I had very strong ideas of what we wanted in our wedding and I-Jou and Maylin were very receptive to all of it but with all of their experience they were able to bring so much more to the table that we had not considered or were even aware of. Communication during the planning process was terrific. My fiancé and I have really weird crazy schedules and they never seemed bothered or annoyed. From walking the venue to discussing table setting, after each of our meetings I left feeling great because of the progress we made. I-Jou is meticulous in taking notes and created a detailed timeline which became the backbone to the entire event. She helped us to visualize step by step the order of events and how they would transition smoothly. If you want to pull off the wedding of your dreams then you need to work with the best; don't skimp. I-Jou's attention to detail and Maylin's design sensibilities were an asset in the planning of our wedding. When the day finally arrived, I knew unequivocally that hiring IM Events was the single best choice we made in the planning of our wedding. I-Jou and team really shined. There is nothing better than to sit back on the day of your wedding and enjoy the occasion...you know...take it all in and have FUN! We were able to do this because we had full confidence in I-Jou and Maylin. I remember being led out to the banquet while the photographers were getting their "clean shot" before the guests sat down for dinner and just being floored at how beautiful everything was, the flowers, table settings, and lights; it was absolutely magical. The rest of the evening ebbed and flowed beautifully. There was a slight hiccup toward the end of dinner but I-Jou and team handled it so quickly and effortless that nobody really noticed. I was very impressed. This is what you get when you work with professionals like IM Events. Their experience allows them the confidence to work under pressure while seemingly pulling it off effortlessly! After the wedding we received so many compliments from friends and family but the icing on the cake was that our wedding photos were published in California Wedding Day Magazine! But Abby nailed it of course, her design sense is unreal. From color palettes and floral choices to the way she tied together modern décor with cultural elements, everything was cohesive and elevated. She has an incredible eye for detail and always found creative, out-of-the-box ways to make our ideas work. The end result was a wedding that felt truly felt like us! Communication: Throughout the entire process, Abby and her team were consistently on top of communication. She kept us updated between meetings, sent friendly reminders, and made sure we were always aligned on next steps. It's easy for things to slip through the cracks when planning something this big, but Abby kept everything organized and stress-free. We never once felt out of the loop, she was always calm, professional, and genuinely fun to talk to. Vendor Management: Abby's vendor management skills are next level.
