Luckily for us, 3 Petals took those wise words and said "hold my champagne." We gave 3 Petals team a large task of 270 guests, a moody romantic theme, picky eaters, quality drinks, amazing food, and a floral chandelier that made us gasp. Not only did the team understood the assignment, they handled all of it without missing a beat. We can't talk about 3 Petals without talking about the staff. And we have to start with Ashley, because she deserves every thank you we could give. As our POC for the entire year leading up to the wedding, she was an absolute sweetheart from start to finish. Every email answered promptly, every question, no matter how small, was met with patience and clarity. It felt like planning a wedding with a friend who genuinely wanted our day to be perfect. Ashley truly set the tone for what the entire 3 Petals experience would feel like, and that standard carried through every single interaction with their team. The venue staff as a whole are warm, genuine, and flexible. You can tell they actually love what they do. The venue itself is a true blank canvas. We wanted a moody, romantic theme and 3 Petals team suggested maroon draping. Game changer. It completely transformed the space and gave the room a warm and intimate atmosphere. The team provided extra lighting to balance the moodiness of the room and made sure our linen choices tied everything together perfectly. Their in-house rentals are fairly priced, their florist team is incredibly talented, and the floral chandelier they created was honestly more stunning in person than anything we had imagined. Since they have established relationships with so many local vendors, coordinating everyone was smooth and stress-free. Now the food. We need to talk about the food because this is where 3P truly shines. Many of our guests were from families of great cooks. We are talking picky Asian moms and aunties who will absolutely let you know if something did not meet the mark. Every single one of them complimented the food. This was the highlight of the wedding for us. We went with Signature Menu 2 and swapped the first course for cocktail hour bites, and that decision alone was worth it. We had tried the cocktail food at our tasting and knew immediately it was going to be a hit, but the actual wedding night confirmed it. Every single item was amazing. The curry shrimp was juicy and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of curry flavor, served on a crispy bite that had the most satisfying crunch. The halibut ceviche was a fresh, beautifully executed Asian fusion take. And the filet beef cubes were tender, soft, and seasoned so perfectly that every single bite felt intentional. And those were just the appetizers. Dinner raised the bar even higher. Our front runners from the moment we tried them were the twice cooked short ribs and the steamed sea bass, and they delivered on the wedding night exactly as promised. The short ribs fell completely off the bone and melted in your mouth. The sea bass was incredibly fragrant and cooked to perfection. The soup was delicate yet packed with generous amounts of shrimp and crab, and they did not skimp on a single thing. And the lobsters with garlic noodles? Bomb! All our guests raved about these dishes. The compliments did not stop at the wedding either. Weeks later, guests were still bringing up the food unprompted. That speaks volumes about what By 3 Petals puts on the table. Our guests really came for the wedding and stayed for the drinks. The full top shelf bar meant every cocktail actually tasted like a cocktail. No watered down drinks, no flimsy plastic cups, just well-made cocktails served right. I never write reviews but I had to leave an outstanding one for this venue. I attended a wedding here in June and had such a great experience! The venue itself was absolutely beautiful. The entire staff was so kind, attentive, and efficient throughout the night. Everything felt very organized even with such a large crowd. I especially have to shout out the bartenders, specifically, Anais and Rhiannon!! They were AMAZING. The bar was slammed all night, but you honestly would have never known from their service. Drinks came out so quickly even if it was a large order (guilty), everything was made correctly, and they were genuinely some of the best drinks I've had! On top of that, they both had the best energy and were so friendly and fun with every guest who came up to the bar. They somehow managed to keep everything moving while still making each interaction feel personal, which was so impressive considering how busy they were. Anais and Rhiannon seriously added so much to the atmosphere of the wedding and were one of the things that stood out to me most from the night. You can tell they are both great at what they do and genuinely care about giving guests a good experience. We had our wedding at Venue by Three Petals. We toured many, many...too many...venues and were so glad that we did not need to look any further after touring Venue. We had Eden guide us on the tour, and she was patient, kind, helpful, and answered all our questions. Ashley was our go-to person once we booked this place for our wedding, and she helped us bring our vision to life. We went with the Western menu, and the tasting day was fun and personalized. Zach, the bar manager/bartender, is the MVP and made sure our specialty drinks came out exactly the way we wanted and was there on our wedding day as well. A huge plus about this venue is that they do not have an endless list of rules like the other venues we toured. And yes, they pour real, actual shots in a shot glass for our guests and us for the wedding. Venue checked off all our boxes for what we were looking for, and they have a great sound system as well. Our guests had so much fun, and we did not want the night to end. The area is spacious, and we did not even use the entire available space for our guest count. I was deciding between venues and ultimately went with Venue by Three Petals per the astounding recommendation of a bride who also had hers here in 2021. Planning a wedding of ~250 guests was definitely not the easiest thing to do but I was so lucky to have worked with Jenn throughout the process. She has been instrumental from beginning to end. Her professionalism, attention to detail, patience, and accommodations... The accolades go on! She knew what little pieces to add to make the wedding really stand out. Her work with the floral chandelier was amazing! I had given her the floral design deck provided by my florist and she did such an outstanding job with coordinating it. My guests can not stop raving about the food and the generous portions!! We opted for seven courses that included the hors d'oeuvres and it was one of the best decisions I've made. It's been a month since our wedding and we still don't have the words to explain our love for Ashley and the rest of the team at the venue. My husband and I planned our wedding from across the country and had only been to the venue once for another wedding in 2019. When we decided to book, Ashley was our POC throughout and we are so glad she was. She is the sweetest and the most patient person ever!! I always had a million questions and she'd gracefully answer all of them. She never missed a phone call or email and remembered every detail of our wedding. The Bar area is large and beautiful, really elevating the ambiance of the place. The Venue allowed us to bring other venders ( such as cococane and in and out). Graduated 2024 bride here! First off, I want to thank Jenn (the venue event manager) and her team for making our day so seamless and answering all our questions promptly! We fell in love with this venue because no matter what, the floral chandelier will make your event shine! We were a little worried that our wedding would look too plain without the extravagant add-ons but was proven wrong. We received so many compliments on how stunning our venue was and all our guests LOVED our dinner menu (signature menu 2). The cocktails were amazing! Most weddings, cocktails are made with cheap mixers and served in plastic cups.. but not here! Felt as if I was drinking a cocktail from a restaurant! We held our ceremony and reception in the center of the room so they had to make a flip during cocktail hour. The team made it happen so quickly, we were shocked! Wanted to add-- There isn't a groom's get ready room and the bridal suite was a bit small. So we opted out to getting ready at an airbnb instead. The AC were turned on too late unfortunately during this specific event and it left guests fanning themselves throughout the whole event. Very overdue review! Located in a random, unassuming strip mall, this is a hidden gem! I had my wedding here back in 2021. I worked with Jennifer and she was really great at responding to my numerous emails through out the 2.5 years of planning (thanks 'vid). This place is truly a blank canvas so you're able to tweak it to your vision. For us, it was the floral chandelier that took our breath away! It was a must have for us because it was the focal point of our reception and the romantic vibes we had in mind! We also love the modern look of this venue with the black floors, greenery wall, and the sleek look of the exterior. They do have rentals in house as well. We opted to have the acrylic sweetheart table and cake stand as well as the stage. We brought in our own candles & other miscellaneous decor. For food, we chose the standard Chinese/Vietnamese 8 course menu and it was delicious! Our guests raved about how delicious the food was and how plentiful it was. We also opted for open bar and the bar area is quite beautiful! Since it was a covid style wedding, we only had about 18 tables and it was still quite spacious and could probably have 20 tables with a good amount of room still. Our venue coordinator was Ashley. She was amazing to work with! Wedding planning is stressful, but honestly we didn't have any stress when it comes to working/planning with Ashley and Venue. She made it so easy and straightforward. Ashley is so kind, patient, responsive, and always let us know that if we needed anything or had any questions to not hesitate to contact her. My wife has a severe shellfish allergy and with our menu consisted of some shellfish dishes, Ashley was accommodating and on top of it to make sure that shellfish was removed from our servings at our request in addition to making sure that they did their very best to avoid cross-contamination, so she wouldn't have an allergic reaction on our special day. Banquet lighting is good, but acoustics (for words instead of music) not so much. It took an hour to transform from ceremony to reception setup. Staff was very helpful about disposing a pile of instant camera film cartridges as well as finding lost sunglasses. The bathroom amenities included a communal basket with feminine hygiene products and mini-hairspray for guests. Some things to keep in mind: - I had less than 30 tables and the place is still spacious. More than 32 tables may be less spacious and can be tight to maneuver around. - Plenty of parking in the back - There is a leaf wall, which is a perfect spot for a photobooth/welcome photos. - Good amount of restroom stalls - They provide a lot of add-ons so you don't need to rent elsewhere. I chose their linen, dance floor, monogram, candles and uplighting. Overall, my guests thought Venue was beautiful! They also thought the shaking beef and chicken satay were delicious appetizers. I can not say enough good things about this wedding venue and 99.9% of it was because of Jenn. I booked Venue by Three Petals very early into my wedding planning (January 2022) for my October 2023 wedding. I am so grateful I got to work with Jenn for over a year, because she really made the whole process and experience so much better for me. Jenn was patient, super understanding, and her communication was THE BEST. I don't think she ever took more than 1 hour to respond back to me, and I know how busy her and her team gets. She went above and beyond with everything and exceeded my expectations. The week of the wedding, I was getting a little anxious with some last-minute details on my end, and she calmed all my nerves and even had suggestions that made the wedding even better. Note: I have a severe food allergy too, and she made sure none of my food/ guests' food had that ingredient just to prevent cross-contamination. The day of the wedding, her team was so helpful in making sure everything was set up smoothly. She even stopped by to say "Hi" to me personally In terms of the Venue, this whole place is really a blank canvas. Our theme was black & white, with an old Hollywood (golden) twist. We opted out of a floral chandelier and kept the regular chandelier, which was gold and a perfect compliment to our theme. My in-laws (and their friends) who were only used to attending traditional Asian weddings, said that our wedding was the best they've ever been to- food, location, vendors, everything was perfect, and that was a HUGE deal for me to hear that. I was a little anxious at our wedding being "too modern" for their tastes, but everyone said it was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. From the moment I attended a friend's wedding here, I wanted everything that V3P had to offer. My venue coordinator was Ashley and she made it very easy to coordinate planning my own wedding from NorCal. Ashley was always quick to respond and answered my many, many questions and flexible with any changes I wanted to make. The outside of the venue is very nondescript, located in a plaza with plenty of parking but the inside can be truly transformed into whatever you want. I opted to do the floral chandelier that their sister floral company does and Ashley handled all the coordination of that for me. The welcome area boasts a giant greenery wall, perfect for a photo wall and a giant mirror which I used for my seating chart. There was also an outdoor area perfect for our sparkler exit at the end of the night. The bar area is nice and spacious, the bathrooms are clean and plenty, and the reception area can accommodate hundreds of people, leaving room for a photobooth area and dessert table as well. Our guests absolutely raved about the 7 course meal (multiple menu options depending on your preference) and the floral chandelier! They also loved the service and that water was always readily available or quickly requested (which isn't always the case at typical Asian restaurant banquet weddings). Our friend got married at this Venue back in Sept/2018. We totally fell in love with this place because it is beautiful, unique and modern. It's definitely not a typical asian restaurant wedding you usually attend to. This place is a beautiful blank canvas which you can transform into anything you want for your dream wedding. Our original wedding was Sept 5, 2020, but due to COVID we ended up postponing it to July 10, 2021. It was a very stressful/difficult time for all of us. Thanks to Jennifer (Venue Coordinator) she made the whole process very smooth and easy. She walked us through it all. Hands down......She is AMAZING. We love her very much! After our wedding day, all of our friends and family won't stop talking about our wedding. They keep mentioning how BEAUTIFUL the Venue was. Where do I even begin - Our wedding was originally 4/3/20. We booked and secured Venue in Feb. 2019 and of course here comes COVID to shut it all down only 3 weeks from the date. From day one, Ashley was very responsive, warm, and kind. While dealing with every postponement (first we thought 7/24/20, then 6/18/21, and 9/26/21) she never made us feel like we were alone in this. Every phone call and email, she always answered. She was always clear with what Venue was doing to keep everyone safe and she always reassured us that the team at Venue would be there for us whenever our special day came. Well, it finally happened 9/26/21. It was the most amazing day, more than I could have ever imagined it. The adrenaline I felt from the weeks leading up were another level. I was half excited and half wanted to throw up but the day of, I was as calm as could be. We'd been waiting so long I just said "F*** IT" today is our day and if anything goes "wrong" it doesn't matter. To my shock, nothing went wrong. The day flowed so smoothly - Ashley and the whole team were on top of everything. No if, ands, or buts. She gave me and my girls some shots before the ceremony, made sure I had a drink at all times, made sure Tyler and I ate. Venue even did a few extra special things for us that we weren't expecting. This place is really a beautiful blank canvas that can be transformed into anything you can dream of! I came here for a wedding and really loved the setup of this venue. It was really easy to get to and there was ample parking. I loved that it was in a inconspicuous corner of a plaza that did not look fancy at all. Inside however, it was elevated and beautiful. They have an outdoor area that is great for outdoor food catering. Outside, there were cocktail tables. The outdoor space was a great size and was well maintained. Inside, the bar area was spacious and toward the back. You enter a lobby area first where guests can sign in and take photos. The inside of the space is a basic shape and is basic in appearance but is a wonderful blank canvas for some beautiful decor and tablescaping. I attended an Indian wedding here where they were able to fit a henna tent inside and set up a lounge-style stage. They allowed outside catering. 7-7-2023 bride here. I booked with Venue back in December 2021. And I am so glad that I did. First off- Ashley is so freaking amazing. She was so patient with all my emails, questions, etc. for 2 and a half years. 2 years!! She replied with such patience and kindness. I planned my wedding all by myself and hired a day of coordinator. So having to do and finalize all the details myself- well it was challenging. But Ashley made it amazingly easy. We decided to go for a Friday wedding because of costs. And we are so glad that we did. The staff was amazing. And the food. I mean, I was so over the boring wedding steak/chicken/salmon. Instead the Venue's 7 course meal with lobster, garlic noodles, fried rice, etc. was a hot topic amongst all our guests. ALL our guests enjoyed the food and consistently praised the food throughout. The bar service was spectacular. My friends fully took advantage of shots that night and the open bar was well worth the money. I love how 3 petals does the floral chandelier. Because that too was also the hot topic of the night. Everyone was complimenting it. And on top of that- my father in law gifted us those flowers (as in he paid for them) before his passing this year. The 3petals teams went above and beyond and really made his presence felt by all our guests through the flowers. We had the most memorable wedding at Venue by Three Petals working with Ashley Le. The planning process, the day of, and all the memories that we still relive with our pictures was amazing. The food was great, the drinks were delicious, and the whole space was beautiful and just as I pictured it. I can't stop looking at the pictures and video. We are so happy that we celebrated our special day here, and we still get compliments from our guests about how much fun they had here. I can't recommend Venue enough. I had the pleasure of working with Ashley to coordinate my wedding & she is such a gem. We actually started planning two and a half years ago- can I get a "pandemic wedding"!?! She has been helpful, accommodating, and supportive throughout the whole process. She gives opinions when asked and was never pushy. Ashley was very responsive via email and messaging. As for the turnout on our actual wedding day.. HOLY COW! My guests and I (& my hubby) have not stopped dreaming about that night. Venue was completely transformed into my dream wedding, drinks were flowing, and food was DELICIOUS. We came here for a wedding tonight. The venue itself was spacious and elegant. The restroom was very pretty, but there weren't any changing tables for babies. The food was disappointing. There was duck, lobster, fried rice, and shrimp on our menu tonight. The food was either dry or hard or both, and it was so hot and stuffy inside the venue. Granted the weather's pretty hot this week, but everyone was sticky and shiny the entire night, even the guests who just sat the entire time and weren't dancing were dying from the heat. They said the a/c was on, but we couldn't even feel it. When we left, it felt cooler outside than in the venue itself. read more

Amazing venue! My husband and I were engaged right before the pandemic started therefore venue hunting was pretty difficult for us. We contacted Ashley for information for Venue by Three Petals. She is very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. She kept in touch with us during the entire process and scheduled us in for a venue tour and tasting. With a chef in our family, we had some notes after the tasting and was a little worried how the food would turn out. However, the food came out amazing and delicious. Chinese/Vietnamese wedding banquet food was one of our must-haves. Our guests praised us after the wedding on how great the food was and worth the drive since we are mainly based in the SGV area. Major kudos to Ashley - I felt like I had a million questions on what was allowed and asked for suggestions. She is very responsive and made us feel comfortable the whole way through and even checking up with us during the reception to ensure we were taken care of. Our favorite add-on was the floral chandelier - it was absolutely beautiful. Overall, this is a stunning place to host an event. We wouldn't have it any other way. We originally wanted to get married on June but due to COVID-19, we had to postpone it and change our venue. Ashley was our venue coordinator and she was so amazing. We got in contact with her mid-April and booked them in June; it was seamless and easy process. She was very helpful and went above and beyond with the service. We picked August 23, 2020 as our wedding date. We wanted the wedding indoor but due to the pandemic, we had to do it outdoor. It was nothing like we imagined but everything went well. Because of the pandemic, the venue had couple people screening my guests before entering the venue. They took temperatures and had them sign waiver forms. They also had hand sanitizer stations. We also went with their catering and they were delicious. My guests could not stop telling us how great and delicious they were. We had done a custom appetizer and menu because we cannot eat seafood and pork (religious reasons). Ashley and the catering team were very kind and accomodating to our requests. They also provided to-go boxes for our guests to pack the left-overs. A bonus star since we are Asians! :D Overall, great venue and wonderful staff. One of my guest had left his water bottle in the venue and Ashley had it shipped to my house for free. Thank you Ashley and venue team for a great service! My wedding was about a month ago and we loved our reception at Venue by 3P. We contacted Jenn a year in advance to book our date. Throughout the year, she was super responsive in answering all of my questions and emails (and trust me, there was a lot). We came in for our food tasting a few months before our wedding and we also came in one month before our wedding date to make any changes to our invoice. Everything was updated and paid for. Come our wedding day, our planner and the Venue team were able to coordinate logistics on their own. And by the time both us and our guests arrived for cocktail hour, everything was already in place. The entire show flowed perfectly fine and our dinner service was also really quick! It is true what they say, the bride and groom barely have time to eat. We recently worked a wedding at 3petals where the couple didn't have a wedding coordinator. What could have been a day of total chaos was saved by 3petal's venue coordinator, Ashley. Some venue coordinators disappear when the wedding starts but Ashley was there for the bride and groom every step of the way. From cueing everyone for the ceremony to making sure we were on schedule during the reception, the wedding (which was planned in about a month) was executed flawlessly. Our couple had the night of their lives and couldn't stop raving about what an amazing experience it was for them. There are many reasons to book with 3petals (modern aesthetics, amazing florists, ample parking etc) but having a wonderful staff that cares about you and your wedding is really what makes them stand out. YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2018 - 22/100. What a beautiful place to hold a wedding reception. Or ANY reception, actually! Do NOT let its outside appearance fool you. It may not look like a lot judging by its exterior, but it was well decorated inside. The newlyweds opted for the 7-course meal for their guests. (Not included are appetizers served prior to seating!) That was new for me, I've never had family style meals at the many weddings I've been to, and boy, everything was delicious! It's family style and the amount of food they do give is even too much for a table for 10. The servers were quick to clean up all used utensils. The bartenders can be a bit more efficient, but otherwise okay. There was always clean up everywhere when needed (the place looked clean the entire time! I didn't notice any clutter or mess on the floors at any time!) Yeah, it's in a strip mall, so parking isn't an issue. Maybe it's because it was a nighttime event, but I had zero problems finding a spot. Cousin and his new bride did good! Would highly recommend! read more

This is one of my favorite wedding venues in OC. I photographed a wedding here last year, and these are my thoughts as a vendor: - the staff is professional, friendly, and helpful, especially Jennifer - there is great team coordination between planning, florals, and catering - the place is sleek and can be transformed into almost anything you can envision - the attention to detail decor wise is exceptional - the facilities are clean and well maintained - the bar area is perfect for 'gram photos - there is ample parking right outside (front and back) - the front facade is beautiful; we ended up using it for wedding party photos as our rain backup plan (the bride wanted to go to a gorgeous nearby park, but it rained all night and morning) - bonus: they allow sparkler exits, which yields fun, memorable photos to close your day! read more

Its WTF Wednesday (a mediocre review on Wed)!!! Venue by Three Petals used to be AVEC, a nightclub. However, now it is a place to hold wedding receptions, and large events where circular tables, a stage, food, and a bar are required. Venue is located on the Southeast corner of Beach & Ellis in Huntington Beach. I came here for an Azn b'ness gig. The room had 30 round tables of 10, a dj, a photobooth, the bar, and a 7 course Chinese style banquet. First of all, the ambiance was OK. There was plenty of room to move about. As you enter, the bar is a U turn to your right, and the stage is straight ahead. The photobooth was to the far left, and the restrooms were near the entrance. Regarding the acoustics, they were pretty bad. There were a couple of singers, and the room is not set up to move the sound around the L-shaped room. Speaking of the restrooms, they are more fancy vs functional. There was only one bottle of soap, and the toilets and one urinal were all enclosed w/ a door. An odd layout to say the very least: 3 Stars overall. On the other hand, the service was excellent. The servers were super nice, attentive and efficient. The head person was on top of it, and accommodated a guest at our table who is vegetarian. Our water bottle at our table was constantly being refilled, and empty dishes were removed quickly. Additionally, our waitress was a cutie. The only downside was we were not given fresh plates: 4 Stars. Lastly, the food for the most part was like Ty Dollar $ign's recent song: Blasé (blasé blasé). The first two courses (soup & veggies), were both lukewarm when they came out. In addition, the soup was bland. The third and fourth courses (honey walnut shrimp & fried chicken), were actually pretty good. The shrimp were not too mayonnaisey, and the chicken was crispy. However, the fifth dish (garlic noodles w/ shrimp) didn't have enough garlic. I didn't stick around for the rice or dessert. Speaking of the menu, there shouldn't have been two shrimp dishes, as well as a noodle & rice dish. A more suitable course for the fifth dish should have been beef: 3 Stars. Venue is an OK place to hold a large event, but there is NFW I would host a wedding reception here. The parking lot is dark, and it is shared w/ a hooka bar next door, and a Two Star dive bar across the lot. Your relatives would be talking $hit about you during the event, and a long time afterwards if you decided to hold your reception here. This place was one step away from a TST like AVEC its predecessor. read more

Attended here for a birthday party. It fit 275 guests easily and there was an ample amount of space for parking too. As you enter they have a beautiful wall with shrubbery that was nice for pictures and a floor to ceiling mirror. The workers were efficient and the dj and emcee were personable. The restrooms were close and even offered doors for the urinal! A venue is only as good as how they maintain the restrooms - very nice! The location is also next to a sports bar and a night club so it's convenient for folks that want to party on. read more

This place was so well lit and decorated. We had a Spanish Sweet 15 - Quincenera - and it was simply gorgeous. The staff was great and accommodated a FULL house. The bar was great too, a large selection! & lemonade seemed very natural and perfect tasting after a long night of dancing. The only con I have about that day was that my family was told that the AC would be on full blast...almost freezing...but unsure if it was set down or if it was starting to have issues. It was beyond hot and after one dance, you began sweating. Overall, it was a nice hall to have. Tons of parking both front and rear. read more

We worked with Ashley throughout the whole process, periodically from the day we booked our venue a year in advance up until the night of the reception. Ashley is very sweet and accommodating and she wants you to have the wedding of your dreams. Communicating was easy and prompt via email and they were able to provide everything we needed if we asked specifically. We chose the Venue because it was one of the few places that allowed us to DIY a lot of decorations with very few restrictions, and things we did need, they had readily available for us to pick and choose without complicated bundle packages. The Venue is truly a blank canvas, what it looks like is up to you and how you decorate it. Food: Our food during our tasting was splendid. The groom wanted American food but I knew with our family we needed Asian food, so we compromised by going with the slightly more fusion menu; the Signature Menu. We were able to customize the menu very easily. We had three appetizers and a 7 course meal. Majority of our guests liked it. Decor: They were very accommodating with the things we asked for: draping, uplights, various tables, and the stage.
