Then we had a medium Brooklyn Full House (no mushrooms or extra cheese). We both agreed it was some of the best sausage we've had on pizza. One salad and medium pizza was plenty for the two of us. Servers were polite and had everything ready pretty quickly. We arrived around 530 pm on a Wednesday night. Plenty of seating inside. Plenty of parking as well. Food was very good we are impressed. I got the large chicken vodka pizza and some fries for about $30, it was a good quantity so I'd say it was worth it. The parking lot is very small for this location and the store is consistently crowded so be prepared to wait over an hour for one pie but other than that great experience. read more

The Stromboli, actually a large, crescent shaped calzone (Stromboli is rolled into layers) was pretty empty inside, and where there was evidence of steak and cheese it wasn't great. Its only salvation was the accompanying vat of tomato sauce. My companion's chicken cheesesteak was left flat by the old school bland Amoroso's roll. The sample slice was dry and flavorless. Pizza La Vida *Warning* This review contains pizza that has--gasp shock horror--non-traditional ingredients on them. Pizza purists avert your delicate eyes and go take a long walk off a short pier (i.e., go fuck yourselves). We needed to feed a bunch of people before a graduation ceremony, and the one thing that everyone can agree on is pizza, of course. After looking at multiple places to order from, we settled on A Slice of Brooklyn (SoB) after one of Carissa's kids mentioned they'd been there before and tried a seafood pizza that was fantastic. That was enough to spark my curiosity, and we placed our order along with several other more "traditional" pies. The Good: *Pizza Del Mar (from the sea) lived up to the hype! They were molto generoso with the crab and shrimp, and the thick, rectangular Sicilian crust was fantastic. Crispy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. I don't eat pizza much anymore, but if we lived nearby, this would def be in my rotation. *They were able to whip out three pies very quickly; we ordered over the phone, drove over, and were back in less than 30 minutes. *Dug the vibe of the place with a big open kitchen and comfy-looking booths. This looked like a fine place to dine-in. *Prices were very reasonable, but I'm from Cali, so what do I know? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Meh: *Wasn't a fan of their thin NY-style crust, as it just didn't have that chew I look for in it. Super soft roll filled with a mixture of chopped meat ( ground beef and/or beef -- not sure), grilled onions, and cheese with a bit of tomato sauce. Everything was mixed together, so it was hard to say what was what. I thought I ordered one slice of pizza -- but I got -- and apparently paid for -- two slices. I don't know how long the pizza was sitting out, but it was dried up, curled up, and pretty much flavorless. No moisture, very little sauce, and a dry crust. Disappointing. Nope. This place was not what I was expecting! I was thinking that this place would be just like every other pizza and sub shop, but it turns out it wasn't. The pizza was VERY fresh and the wings had a perfect amount of sauce on them. The entire meal only costed $30 for a pizza and a dozen boneless wings! "Pie from the sky"- The only way to describe this pizza is "heavenly " -I.e. from the heavens. I honestly read a several reviews on Yelp that suggested the Pizza Del Mar and the Sicilian crust and that's what I had. It's about 5/8" thick with a crispy buttery bottom and edges. They did not skimp on the crab or shrimps for the toppings and all in all it was a beautifully made pie! The 3 men at the oven shouted out "have you ever seen a more beautiful pie?" with a heavy accent. This place is close to where I work and I recently noticed their sign changed. I assume they may now be under new ownership however the menu has remained the same as far as I can tell. They offer a 2 slice with drink lunch special here but since COVID-19 practices have been put into effect the deal has changed from being able to choose gourmet slices to regular cheese slices. Unfortunately, the price has remained the same and they will charge for extra toppings. At $7 this does not seem like a great deal. I ordered a chicken cheese steak that came with provolone, sauce, onions, peppers, mushrooms and pepperoni. The roll was good and the cheese was stringy. I felt the sauce could have been improved upon. The chicken was overcooked, mealy and dry. I do not know if adding more sauce would have remedied it but it was worth noting. Best pizza in town by far! A weekly go to for our family. The never disappoint. This is the best pizza I've had outside of New Jersey.

I was in town for an event and the ever reliable yelp search for solid pizza lead me to this place. Based on the accents of the employees I am confident that the owners are Brooklyn bred. My table shared the Buffalo Chicken salad, the Grandmas Pizza Pie, and a salad. All were wonderful. I had 3 teenage boys that were reading to chow down and were anticipating generic pizza. To their surprise (not mine) they all loved the pizza! The grandma was terrific. They were initially turned off by the tomato sauce combined with pesto but It worked!!! The salad was wonderful as well. And the bill...wonderful as well. Great restaurant! I'd like to return to try some of the pasta as the price alone had me drooling. read more
