Pepperoni and onion pizza on Valentine's Day

Our favorite pizza in Lancaster, Pennsylvania! Always made fresh, crisp, chewy crust, and great sauce!

Del Mar

Real good pizza! Mobster memorabilia everywhere and this joint can make a solid slice. We had the veggie and the Del Mar. In my opinion, the veg topped the seafood.

Cheese steak

This place was a 10/10. I came here for lunch ordered a cheesesteak & fries and it did its thing. The wait wasn't too long despite it being busy. The workers were cool and there wasn't anything to complain about. The place is filled with things from NYC its pretty dope. The cheesesteak tasted amazing and the cheese they used on it was really good. The fries were cripsy and did what it did. I will definitely be coming back.

Pizza La Vida *Warning* This review contains pizza that has--gasp shock horror--non-traditional ingredients on them. Pizza purists avert your delicate eyes and go take a long walk off a short pier (i.e., go fuck yourselves). We needed to feed a bunch of people before a graduation ceremony, and the one thing that everyone can agree on is pizza, of course. After looking at multiple places to order from, we settled on A Slice of Brooklyn (SoB) after one of Carissa's kids mentioned they'd been there before and tried a seafood pizza that was fantastic. That was enough to spark my curiosity, and we placed our order along with several other more "traditional" pies. The Good: *Pizza Del Mar (from the sea) lived up to the hype! They were molto generoso with the crab and shrimp, and the thick, rectangular Sicilian crust was fantastic. Crispy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. I don't eat pizza much anymore, but if we lived nearby, this would def be in my rotation. *They were able to whip out three pies very quickly; we ordered over the phone, drove over, and were back in less than 30 minutes. *Dug the vibe of the place with a big open kitchen and comfy-looking booths. This looked like a fine place to dine-in. *Prices were very reasonable, but I'm from Cali, so what do I know? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Meh: *Wasn't a fan of their thin NY-style crust, as it just didn't have that chew I look for in it. I mean, it was OK, but nowhere near as good as their Sicilian crust. The Ugly: *Wish we ordered a second Del Mar as it was definitely the most popular of the three pies. Don't make this same mistake! TLDR: The Del Mar and Sicilian crust are both worth the price of admission. Highly recommended.

Crispy chicken salad and garlic knots

First off, their food is absolutely delicious. I've had several different kinds of pizza, salads and subs. Definitely try their Grandma's pizza :) The service is always outstanding, every employee I've encountered is friendly & accommodating. They're quick and always will fix what doesn't seem right. The restaurant is clean and spacious.

Grandma's Pizza. Too good to wait to get a picture of it!

Had a couple of slices of pizza. Not bad for the area. They had many different pizzas available for choosing slices.

Great pizza and a lot of the charm of an old school pizza parlor. I mean they have the things.

Best pizza in town by far! A weekly go to for our family. The never disappoint. This is the best pizza I've had outside of New Jersey.

This was such a fantastic meal, with Housemade pasta, sauces, and ingredients. My friend and I were…read morelucky enough to get a seat by the kitchen, so we enjoyed watching the chef's hard at work! One of the chefs even gave each of us a small tasting plate during our meal, which was such a fun and intimate gesture for this space! We absolutely loved both of the pasta dishes we got. Everything tasted amazing, and so incredibly fresh!! We ordered an appetizer of the bread to start with, this was the only disappointing part of the meal to me. The bread was very crusty, which is not my preference, I was expecting soft bread to dip into the sauces. The flavor of the sauces on the side were excellent. I would definitely come back here. If I lived near this location, the ambience is casual, yet it gives fine dining vibes with the quality of food! The service was great as well, and we really appreciated them fitting us in on a busy Saturday night!!

What a gem! It was our anniversary and we were treated like VIPs…read more.. Erin, thank you for serving us with a warmth, kindness, professionalism and a smile. Isaiah, your generosity and hospitality made the night memorable, along with your knowledge and expertise... The "My Chareau-da" (clever) was perfection. And to end the meal with the absolutely perfect sip, Dopo Teatro Vermouth Amaro, made it an extra special ending to our anniversary dinner. Chef and team: How could I forget to mention the food?! The Burrata small plate got us started (so good... we wanted to lick the pesto right off the plate), followed by The Luca Chicken (tasty, though you have to work a bit to get every bit of juicy meat off the bone) and Hanger Steak (medium rare, thank you... perfect), followed by an affogato (so smooth) and the delicious dessert you see in the photo (can't remember what it was called, but they boasted about the Lancaster strawberries). Great from start to finish! Worth noting: We felt GREAT afterward and the next day, a true test of good, real food. No bloating, etc. Last note: It can get loud, but it wasn't over the top. This is the sign of people having a good time!

We were in Lancaster for 4th of July and stayed at Eden resort. Carrabbas was just across the road…read moreso gave it a shot. What a pleasant surprise. Reminded me of Olive Garden in some regards. Great menu with big portions and good prices. I had steak and shrimp combo and it was phenomenal - garlic mash was yummy and roasted vegetables solid. Side salad was size of full salad elsewhere. Great value. Wife went for fettuccine Alfredo and you could feed 5 people with that dish. Overall food was excellent, service prompt and prices very family friendly. 5/5

Being from Rhode Island, there is great Italian on pretty much every corner. Lancaster,…read morewell....not so much. My kid wanted some chicken parm or something of like and when I went to Yelp to find a place to get it, I was in shock at the limited options. I've eaten at Carrabbas before in FL and knew it was ok. I don't generally enjoy chains and look for more "mom and pop" type places. Sad that they don't make all their own pasta now, but it still comes out very much edible. No reservations on a Sunday night around 5 and we were able to walk right in. Service was prompt and they checked back at reasonable intervals. I think one of our servers was training as you could tell she was a little inexperienced but she was smiling and polite and her trainer was clearly a pro. I had a smoked old fashioned and the waiter smoked it tableside; which was a nice touch. It was flavorful, elegant and not watered down. Kid had the chicken parm and made it disappear quickly along with the mashed potatoes. I had the sirloin and it was cooked perfectly. The sides were tasty and portions were spot on. I also like that they put the calorie counts on the menu. I don't have one single complaint about our meal here and am surprised to see such a low yelp score. Must be hit or miss here because I would not hesitate to go back based on my experience.
