Ordered a large (16") mushroom and onion pizza, and I enjoyed it. My first time getting a pie from here and next time I'll ask for it to be cooked a bit more. It's not a thin crust, but seems the fermentation of the dough is long enough for a nice subtle taste. I did my fermentation for at least 36 hrs sometimes 72 hrs when making pizza dough. The sauce had nice balance of sweet to acidic. The low-moisture mozzarella could use a bit more pull (quality) but had enough flavor. Overall a good pizza, it will satisfy the craving. read more

Absolutely excellent Italian American restaurant. We have been coming to Strasburg Pizza since it's inception. Food is served fresh and hot. Lasagna is bubbly hot with the perfect mix of beef, cheese and noodles. Baked ziti is also a home run. Pizza is the best in the area. The owner (Charlie) is a really great guy. Don't come here here's a big warning there's photos and closed of The cheesesteak hoagies I had told the person that was in the video I just videoed that I'd like another one made with meat, and they refused and this is what they gave me for the grand total of how much is their cheese steak hoagies here $7 cheese steak hoagie! Had lunch here after church. This little spot was in the informational binder at our friends hotel room. We should of gone to another place. We ordered a salad and a couple of pizzas. The salad was a very bland Iceberg lettuce and the pizzas were very doughy! Like they needed to be cooked longer. There wasn't any browning on the top of either one. On a good note. You know about all the excellent Amish and PA Dutch food you can find in the Lancaster area, no doubt. But sometimes you have had enough broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and shoo-fly pie for a while and want a change of pace. Pizza is a good alternative. I can speak only to the excellent thin crust pizza we had. The pepperoni was spicy, and the crust was nice and thin. A medium pizza with 6 large slices was about $10 and a good value. They also offer a thick crust Sicilian pizza and a large selection of hot and cold subs. Service was fast and friendly - it took about 10 minutes for the pick-up order to be ready. The only unusual aspect of ordering over the phone: they don't ask for a name or phone number but give you an order number. You give that number when you arrive: "I am here for order 67," for example. Not a big deal. Overall a good value and place I would return to. read more

Twice I have ordered pizza with onions. Both times the pizza had a pool of liquid sitting on the top. The pizza was so soggy you couldnt even pick it up. When I complained the second time they told me its because the onions release a lot of liquid. I have had pizza with onions from many places and it never looked like this. Would not order again. During a global pandemic, after ordering my pizza I walk in to pick it up to find out of several staff only two were wearing masks. One had a mask hanging off of his ear and was handling it with his gloves that were also used to make the pizzas. I asked for a refund because I was not risking my health by eating from them. The counter staff had NO gloves and NO mask on. After explaining why I wanted a refund the woman at the counters response was "well they're all wearing gloves!!" And I tried to educate her that the virus is spread through droplets from your respiratory tract. Such as in talking over the food while making which is exactly what they were doing. Terrible service and even worse sanitary practices and measures taken during this time. No wonder they the sign on the door said they were hiring and needed counter help. A nice little pizzeria place, lots of options to order. Went with my family and friend, food was good, not bad. The picture attached is what I ordered, tortellini alfredo and it came with a side salad and bread. The sauce was pretty thick and the tortellini were shaped smaller than usual but I didn't mind that. I got caesar dressing with my salad, a lot of raw onions with sweet peppers and tomatoes. The caesar dressing didn't taste that much like caesar, more like Italian/vinegar. The bread was good, came with cute little rectangle blocks of butter. I've only had the food here once before and it was pizza, it was very good but for whatever reason I haven't tried it again until tonight. Got it delivered due to the Coronavirus and I'm not leaving the house. I got a chicken Parm dinner and my wife got fettuccine Alfredo. No one smiles, it's like a staff of angry people who didn't want to be there. We ordered a large [works type of] pizza. I wish I would have known it was going to be smothered in ham, yuck! And not cuts of ham but lunch meat ham. It smelled horribly and was sopping wet in the middle. We took one bite and left it. No need to take it home. But I'll admit, I should have asked what comes on their pizza, my bad, lesson learned. The service is slow, and they did not look understaffed whatsoever. One person in our party (my mother) waited forever for her order. I finally went to the counter figuring they forgot about it. Oh they made it alright, they just forgot to tell the girl up front that it was done and now cold. We paid $60.00 for three of us and ended up leaving and leaving the food behind and seeking dinner elsewhere. What a huge letdown. Tucked away next to the beer mart, this quaint little place is very popular with locals, as almost all of the dozen or so small tables were filled with customers when we went here, and stayed that way for our entire visit, not to mention the takeout business this restaurant does. The pizza was very tasty, reminiscent of pizza we would get in upstate New York, and with so many other great things on their menu, I know we will keep coming back here. A big plus for me was finding out that they sell bottles of Pibb Xtra here. I've missed seeing those, after living in California for a year and a half. I'm quite happy here. read more

As someone originally from the northeastern part of the US I totally recommend this gem in Strasburg. The staff is quick and friendly and the pizza is tasty. I had also gotten an antipasto salad which brought me right back to my hometown as a kid. My friend had gotten a calzone while her niece got some stuffed shells which she compared to her mothers as and I quote "pretty dang good" lol. Stopped in on a Friday evening after seeing a local show and surprised that service seemed kind of slow for Friday customer demands. The open tables were not clean and so we had to hunt for a clean one. But with all that being said, I really enjoyed my pizza.
