Emily has done my hair now at least three times and I have been very pleased each time. She is fabulous! She gives great cuts and does beautiful color. The prices here are also very reasonable. The salon itself is very clean and nicely kept. They use Aveda products which are much better for your hair then most other harsh chemicals or colors. They also offer a wide variety of professional products to buy. Lots of Aveda products and makeup along with other great products. While I was there yesterday they even offered water, coffee, and cookies. Just a very nice little extra gesture. I highly recommend this place and I highly recommend Emily read more

I just got the greatest pedicure ever from Amber at A Stylish Affair. I really appreciated the disposable liner that the water goes in to keep germs at bay. Amber's attention to detail was fantastic and I really appreciated her thoroughness. My toes look awesome, my feet look awesome. Went to Amber for the first time and she gave me an outstanding haircut and the price was amazing. She was informative and very apologetic for running a few minutes behind. I cant tell you how fantastic it was getting a perm today. my hair was naturally curly, but after years of taking medication it now just has a little bit of wave to it. its extremely difficult to deal with straight long hair after a lifetime of curls. thank God for Amber, one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. i explained to her what my hair used to look like and asked her to perm it to match. she looked at it, and it is long, and said she could do it. it came out incredible, she did a great job. while she was rolling the perm, she. Had mentioned a pedicure. i had never had one before, but my feet dont get a whole lot of attention, so i said why not. after she finished my perm, she gave me a pedicure and i have never experienced anything so relieving. the stress just flew out of me and for 30 minutes i was relaxed. Amber did an excellent job and i will definitely return. the shop is nice and clean, and the other stylists are very nice as well. Their client service is excellent. My stylist retired after 20 years of cutting my hair so I had to find someone new. Certainly glad A Stylish Affair was the first one in the yellow pages, and I left a message. Came here with a friend. I had Emily and she had Ashley. Both are very nice and good at what they do. I had a disaster at home with those self dye kits, Emily was able to fix my hair and the price for my friend and I was really cheap I feel like they are undercharging for their quality of work. Everyone in the staff is really nice, a woman came with her newborn and the staff was taking turns holding the baby so mom could have her hair cut. read more

Out of 3 other salons I called in Yucca Valley, this is the only salon that called me back (I live in Kentucky) and confirmed an appointment for 3 of us at one time (my daughter, granddaughter and me) - As I came in from out of state for my granddaughter's graduation. I had recently moved to Yucca Valley. My daughter is a hair stylist and has done my hair for years and does an amazing job. My hair really needed some TLC, having moved a little distance from my daughter she was not able to do it. After reading reviews on the different salons here in town, I chose A-Stylish Affair. Emily colored and styled my hair. She was sweet, and did a wonderful job, it turned out perfect! My daughter is a awesome stylist and was happy and very impressed with Emilys talent.
