The nail technician was extremely rude, arrogant, and clearly lacked basic technical competence. ​She started the service with my pinky finger, where I explicitly showed her the exact length I wanted, expecting all the other nails to be matched accordingly. The thumbs were left for last. Instead of maintaining consistency, she filed my thumbs down so much that they ended up twice as short as the other eight fingers. ​[[HIGHLIGHT]]When I pointed out this obvious mistake, she completely lacked accountability and tried to gaslight me, blaming me by claiming I had asked for that length.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I insisted on proper symmetry, she became confrontational, stated that she "doesn't work with picky clients," and refused to finish the job.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] ​[[HIGHLIGHT]]Being pregnant, the last thing I expected was to be treated with such hostility and disrespect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]To top it off, she condescendingly told me she wouldn't accept me as a client again as if I would ever return after such an appalling experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If a "nail technician" cannot maintain a consistent length across all fingers, they shouldn't be in this business. I had a pedicure with the male owner (Ben) and it was honestly the worst I've ever had. He cut my nails but didn't file them, didn't clean under them, barely pushed back my cuticles, and gave the lightest, most rushed foot rub I've ever experienced. It feels like a common issue in Yucca Valley, with service providers not wanting to do the full job. I won't be coming back and I'll be sharing this experience with others. I DO NOT recommend Rosie Nails-- Will NOT return! I truly wish I had listened to my instincts after my first visit to Rosie Nails Salon, but I gave them a second chance hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, this visit was not only disappointing--it was deeply upsetting and emotionally stressful. I came in for a manicure and pedicure, requesting the same color on both, but they turned out mismatched. I also asked for dip nails, but they came out unnaturally thick-- just like the first time I came in and received lumpy, uneven gel nails from the same technician. (Funny enough the technician even commented on how bad they looked, forgetting that he was the one that did them!) [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ben, the tech who did my nails was rude, impatient, and rushed the entire time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On my first visit, I assumed his attitude was due to how busy they were. When I came in the second time, I came in looking forward to unwinding after a long, stressful week--but again, he was short, dismissive, and seemed irritated from the moment I sat down. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I asked if there were any more color options, he told me there weren't any... Yet, the sweet girl doing my pedicure kindly showed me there were more options, proving he simply didn't want to be bothered[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The most disturbing part of my visit came when I asked him politely to not jerk my hand as he was rushing through the manicure. Not only did he do it again--he then slapped it with the nail file and with an attitude he shoved my hand and sarcastically asked, "Why, you don't like your nails, huh?" while pushing my middle finger up toward my face! That moment was shocking, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. Still trying to stay calm, I walked to the counter--only to be told the price was higher than what we agreed on. When I questioned it, he began yelling loudly, making a scene, and treating me like I was trying to get out of paying, which I wasn't! At that point, I just wanted to escape the embarrassment and leave. But before I could go, he said to my face: "Pay and don't ever come back." I left feeling shaken, confused, and incredibly disrespected. I regret spending my money here and deeply regret trusting this business a second time. Please learn from my experience-- DON'T waste your money, time, or expect to relax and unwind at Rosie Nails. And if you do go, I recommend requesting anyone else but, the rudest nail tech I've ever met-- BEN! I went in as a walk in. I would've waited I wouldn't have been bothered by asking to wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was going in for a gel pedicure. The man was the one that did my pedicure until the younger girl did the gel part. He did half the job. He didn't clean up the cuticles nor did he clean underneath and the sides of my toe nails. When the lady was done doing the gel I ended up asking her if they don't clean the cuticles or underneath the toes since the man didn't do it. She told me yes they do. I asked her if she wouldn't mind finishing up the job that he neglected. When it came down to paying she was charging me $20 more than the service I had selected. The man told her the wrong one. I told her wait I had the basic service with gel. I knew for the gel it was going to cost me more but not additional $20 more on top of the gel and pedicure! I really liked the lady she did a very good job. I'm hesitant to go back. I'm trying to find a honest and good place to get my pedicures done. This is my second place to try since I moved here both places have failed me. So disappointed!! read more

Great pedicure. But...the young lady doing my manicure was horrible. I had ( notice past tense) really nice natural nails. I just wanted my cuticles cleaned up and nails filed. Within 2 days. All my natural nails started splitting apart? She used a Dremel deep into nail cuticle line and that's the only thing I can figure out that went wrong. She spent less than 5 minutes on both hands. I have a feeling it's going to be a very long time before my nails recover. read more
