Really bizarre... the technician came out today to fix my AC. Looks at it and tells me it's too hot today and he doesn't want to do the job. Wasted everyone's time just by coming out to my house to tell me he just doesn't feel like doing the job today. He says it was a 150 degrees. Someone from another AC company came about 45 min after he left. Used a thermometer, said it was 105 in the attic and fixed the unit in about 20 min. I would use them instead of A Subcool. Never experienced a company not wanting to do the job they showed up for. read more

My nephew hired someone to check his broken heat pump. The technician came over and replaced the thermostat. That did not work. He was going to replace the condenser motor next. I am struggling to find the right words. The service was IMPECCABLE. Our AC went out today around 6 this evening and of course I start panicking because it's 100 degrees outside literally. It's taken a while to write this review, but I figured I should wait to see how the A/C held up through the summer. My A/C died during a 112-degree Valley Summer night. The next day, I called A Subcool Air Conditioning as soon as they opened. I didn't expect anyone to be available, but they said they would send someone out in the next few hours. Two hours later, a guy checked out my A/C and fixed it. I was pretty happy...until the unit went out again. I called the company back and they sent out the same guy after 6pm. Again, he fixed my unit, but wanted extra $$ for driving back out to me (we ended up compromising). Although I'm super happy that my A/C was fixed AND that they were very responsive during one of the busiest times of the year, I was a little annoyed that they didn't fix the unit the first time and then wanted me to pay extra for the follow up visit.
