Cupcakes on wheels? Bring on the sweets! Unfortunately, I have to point out that my Vanilla cupcake was a little lackluster in flavor and a bit dry. The Smores flavor (that apparently won awards) was sold out so that was a bummer too. I'd only recommend grabbing a cupcake here if you have a serious craving that needs to be satisfied. Otherwise, you're not missing out much.

Anna delivered surprise cupcakes to my friend! She responded so promptly to my questions and even decorated them baby themed The cupcakes are so cute and my friend loved them! I can't wait to eat them myself Thanks

Super cute truck drew my attention. The desserts are what sucked me in! Way too cute cupcakes! I opted for the pink vanilla macaroons! So happy I did. They were so soft and the filling want too overpowering. Just the right amount of sweetness! Very reasonable in price too! Find her truck and visit her!!

A product I would probably still come back for even if the service was without such a wonderful smile! Delicious delicious cupcakes: S'mores, Red Velvet, and GF Pink Vanilla were ordered. I personally had the *gluten free* Pink Vanilla today and I couldn't be happier (I gave the other two as gifts). Cake was yummy, spongey, perfectly pink, and the bake was spot on. Frosting was flavorful but not heavy, and not too sweet even with the white chocolate curls and pink pearl accents. Well done, and so excited this was my first food truck tracker find!

To say I was delighted is an understatement! A quick trip to Chicago and on my way to see Andy Warhol exhibit I saw this darling food truck !! I knew I HAD TO STOP ! Precious little time. Was it worth it ? YES!!! Treat yourself, if you're sweet or not! The cream cheese frosting made eyes roll back in my head! The young woman that helped me with my purchase was kind enough to take my photo while I pretended to be a Warhol muse! The Cupcake made it all a perfect experience and artistic expression of taste, sight, and sound, as I moaned from the flavors as I slowly at every last bite. Thank you for a sensational cupcake, Sweet Girl!

I got the creme brûlée cupcake. Although the topping was fantastic, the cake wasn't anything spectacular. I still gave this food truck 4 stars for service and efficiency. The guy was super friendly too! I got a cupcake from the other food truck that didn't have water, napkins, plastic forks . These are very attractive cupcakes. I'll probably come back just to try the other toppings

I got a message from a colleague urging me to go to the pink van outside our building to claim a free* cupcake. Now this sounded a little sketch given the scarcity of details; nonetheless, I wandered down to find A Sweets Girl's iconic pink truck, manned by a super sweet lady dishing out the frosted goods. *Free, as in covered by the employer. Ordinarily, these little cakes are going for $3-4, but well worth it, given the quality of baking and the nature of the cupcake market in this city! Lured by the pretty pink color, I requested the pink vanilla. Upon realizing that this is their gluten-free option, I felt instant remorse (I am tolerant of gluten, and prefer to leave these goods for those who are not--also, the texture of gluten-free baked goods and confections tends to be off-putting). Too late. The kind baker delighted in telling me that I got the last one, and to be sure to enjoy it. Overwhelmed by her sincerity, I did not ask to exchange for the standard gluten-full white (not pink) vanilla. And good on me--it was SOOO GOOOD! While I'm no cupcake connoisseur, I have sampled some of the nation's finest little cakes (Sprinkle's, Swirlz, Molly's, Small Cakes, The Twisted Baker (RIP my beloved local bakery!)), and this Sweet Girl DID NOT bring a spoon to the knife fight! The cake itself is moist, and not too dense. The frosting is substantial, but not overwhelming. The cupcake overall feels light (not too heavy and not too sweet). The visual aesthetics of these little treats are also on par. If you can track down this truck, give the cupcakes a try!

I came across A Sweets Girl on facebook way back since 2010. She started this journey from nothing. No food truck and just by mouth to mouth customers. We love the cupcakes, the macaroons, custom cakes etc. We ordered custom cakes once in a while, mostly for my kids birthday. I haven't had the chance to try the ice cream (such a shame for me!) But I'm pretty sure it's going to be dope!

According to a Chinatown Cultural Institute guide, the girl who owns A Sweets Girl won a Food Network competition? Well, of course that meant I just HAD to get myself a cupcake! Cupcakes range from $3.50-4.00 (ice cream is $2.50). I got the Choco Choco. The truck, cupcake, and packaging are all very attractive and well put together. The cake itself was light, but a bit on the dry side and too crumbly. I liked the buttercream topping and the chocolate curls. The buttercream wasn't too sweet. It does get melty, but that's typical of buttercream. Overall, the cupcake I had was tasty and elevated from your standard, but I'd have enjoyed it more if it were moist.

A.Sweets Girl is an adorable white and pink food truck which I have visited many times. Each time I saw the truck, it was located north of the Art Institute on Monroe near the trolley stop for the free Navy Pier Shuttle. Love the gluten-free pink vanilla cupcake with the french macaron attached to the frosting. Very unique!

Since their website mentioned they could sell out, I preordered and prepaid online for a 5:30 PM pickup. Unfortunately, when we arrived, our order wasn't ready, which was disappointing because preordering is supposed to save time. There were only about four other people waiting and two employees working the truck. We ended up waiting close to 20 minutes for our food. As for the meal itself, the lobster was fresh, buttery, and flavorful. I wish the rolls had more of a toasted crispness, they were squished flat. We also weren't fans of the coleslaw because it tasted overly vinegary, maybe it was just an off day? We would have preferred some crunchy french fries versus the Cape Cod Chips. The highlight of the meal ended up being the chocolate whoopie pie for dessert -- absolutely delicious! Not sure if we would try it again?

We highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again!

WOW. This place absolutely blew me away!…read more As someone who loves both Korean BBQ and Mexican food, I figured I'd enjoy this spot, but I wasn't expecting to be this impressed. I ordered the bulgogi steak burrito, and let me tell you--this thing was massive. Seriously, it was HUGE. Not only was it massive, but it was packed with flavor. The bulgogi steak was tender, juicy, sweet, savory, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was loaded with deliciousness, and the Korean-Mexican fusion worked way better than I could have imagined. The burrito was so enormous that I ended up eating half for lunch and saving the other half for dinner. That's not me trying to be healthy...that's just how gigantic it was! And somehow it tasted just as amazing later in the evening when I stuffed my face with all that meat. I also have to give a special shoutout to the woman working there. After getting my order, I realized I had forgotten to buy a side because my brain automatically assumed the burrito came with chips like some other places do. She saw my disappointment and totally hooked me up with some chips anyway, which was incredibly kind and completely unexpected. Little gestures like that go a long way and made an already great experience even better! Between the monster-sized portions, incredible flavors, and friendly customer service, this place was a home run. Chicago has some amazing food, but this was easily one of the most memorable meals I had during my trip. If you're debating whether to order the bulgogi steak burrito, stop thinking and just do it. Come hungry, wear stretchy pants, and thank me later. For the record , Los Angeles does not have something like this. We have KOGI TRUCK, which alternates days/nights throughout the city and you have to follow them based on their schedule. But to have a storefront like this in LA where I can easily visit 7 days a week would be a dream come true.

Omgoodness. So much yum!…read more We went a few weeks ago for a meet and greet. They were SO busy but the food was AhMazing. So we went back with our son and his fiancée to eat again. So yummy. We've had the burrito, the gogi bowl, the Korean fried chicken, rice cake on a stick, rice cake and sausage on a stick and the kimbap. The ONLY thing I wouldn't order again is the kimbap. Cuz I feel like I make it better at home OR I can get it just as good as them in a Korean grocery store for WAY cheaper. The service is ALWAYS super nice. You do have to find parking. We've used the Spot Hero app and have been fine. BUT you do have to pay for parking.
