    Chicago combo

One of the staple food trucks that sit on Wacker and perhaps one of the standout choices. There's usually a decent queue for the place but surprisingly doesn't take long for them to pump out piping hot fresh pizza. Chicago combo - The crust and base of the pizza is definitely the star of the show. It's got the right amount of crispy and chew with some nice hints of char. I did find the flavor combination of meats with chopped celery and carrots a bit jarring and would be interesting in trying another flavor next time. Score of 3.5/5 My friend had the pepperoni and found it to be normal and recommended the prosciutto that she had before. Would recommend to check out the place if you are in the area and perhaps try out the other pizza flavors. The service speed is good and the portions generous so you will walk away with a full belly.

There's a lot of hype about Da Pizza Dude and I was very excited to give it a shot finally - but a little disappointed overall. The pizza was good, but not hype worthy. I ordered the veggie which was supposed to be mushrooms and green peppers. Mine also had red and yellow peppers as well. It came in a big white cardboard box + 1 napkin. I asked if she could give me a side of giardiniera and she did so that was nice of them. There are two slices in 1 order. I had 1 slice for lunch and saved the other for dinner. So the quantity you get for the $8 is pretty good. I'm not sure if I'd go back to this specific food cart for pizza though. It wasn't as special as I was hoping.

This truck is amazing, fresh ingredients and a few options to satisfy most of the pizza eating public. A must stop for anyone who loves pizza or those curious about the lunch trucks. This pizza is the real deal Italian authentic.

I was at the Lincoln Park Zoo Food Truck Social last night and I have to say that this was my favorite truck. Okay, the crispy pastrami fries from the Fat Pickle Truck was fantastic, but I was blown away by the product Da Pizza Dude produced in a truck. I ordered the prosciutto pizza. The crust was perfectly done...crispy with air bubbles and light. Just like the pizza I love when in Italy. Plenty of prosciutto, arugula and parmesan were piled on top and the sauce was very tasty. At the end of the evening, I went back to inquire if they'd do a late night snack at my step-daughter's wedding in Naperville...and they would! Seriously thinking about this truck as a special treat on her wedding day. Great job, guys! Let me know if you're truck comes to my area for any events!

Ummmm... this might be my favorite pizza food truck downtown. The pies are the perfect size for lunch, not too small, not too big, and the crust is fantastic! Definitely legit-Italian crust... reminds me of Spacca Napoli crust, which is my favorite. Meatballs, Veggies, Pepperoni & many other choices... I dig on the classic Margherita, it's delicious, and the price is really good considering the size. My only teeny-tiny complaint would be that cans of cold beverages should not be $3. That's crazy. I pick up my pie & then run into good ol' Walgreens for a drink.

Historic pizza place. We ate rooftop with great service. Everyone in our party of 14 had a great time. Portions were generous and full of flavor. Make a reservation if possible. Uno was the favorite among our group.

This pizza place is really good! I'm skeptical of pizza from food trucks, but I really liked it. The crust was nice, crispy on the bottom, and soft, and I like how the basil on the margherita pizza was cooked into the cheese. Sometimes I find when it's cooked on top it'll burn at the edges. I think the price point is really reasonable too. I like to grab this during work for lunch, and the entire pizza fills me up perfectly. I am a very small and short girl though, so someone bigger than me may not be stuffed after.

Best pizza ever! The pies are made different than your typical circular pizza as they are intended to be sized for individual enjoyment rather than shared with large groups. But even still, they are plenty big and filling! They also have some awesome options and my favorite is the Pro which is Prosciutto + Arugula + Shaved Parmesan + Topped with EVOO... and it's amazing! I also love the meatball and the margarita pizzas! The pizzas are made fresh right on the truck and the owner is super nice and friendly. I highly recommend tracking down this pizza truck if you live in Chicago and enjoy delicious, fresh, Italian style pies!

Since their website mentioned they could sell out, I preordered and prepaid online for a 5:30 PM pickup. Unfortunately, when we arrived, our order wasn't ready, which was disappointing because preordering is supposed to save time. There were only about four other people waiting and two employees working the truck. We ended up waiting close to 20 minutes for our food. As for the meal itself, the lobster was fresh, buttery, and flavorful. I wish the rolls had more of a toasted crispness, they were squished flat. We also weren't fans of the coleslaw because it tasted overly vinegary, maybe it was just an off day? We would have preferred some crunchy french fries versus the Cape Cod Chips. The highlight of the meal ended up being the chocolate whoopie pie for dessert -- absolutely delicious! Not sure if we would try it again?

WOW. This place absolutely blew me away!…read more As someone who loves both Korean BBQ and Mexican food, I figured I'd enjoy this spot, but I wasn't expecting to be this impressed. I ordered the bulgogi steak burrito, and let me tell you--this thing was massive. Seriously, it was HUGE. Not only was it massive, but it was packed with flavor. The bulgogi steak was tender, juicy, sweet, savory, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was loaded with deliciousness, and the Korean-Mexican fusion worked way better than I could have imagined. The burrito was so enormous that I ended up eating half for lunch and saving the other half for dinner. That's not me trying to be healthy...that's just how gigantic it was! And somehow it tasted just as amazing later in the evening when I stuffed my face with all that meat. I also have to give a special shoutout to the woman working there. After getting my order, I realized I had forgotten to buy a side because my brain automatically assumed the burrito came with chips like some other places do. She saw my disappointment and totally hooked me up with some chips anyway, which was incredibly kind and completely unexpected. Little gestures like that go a long way and made an already great experience even better! Between the monster-sized portions, incredible flavors, and friendly customer service, this place was a home run. Chicago has some amazing food, but this was easily one of the most memorable meals I had during my trip. If you're debating whether to order the bulgogi steak burrito, stop thinking and just do it. Come hungry, wear stretchy pants, and thank me later. For the record , Los Angeles does not have something like this. We have KOGI TRUCK, which alternates days/nights throughout the city and you have to follow them based on their schedule. But to have a storefront like this in LA where I can easily visit 7 days a week would be a dream come true.

Nothing crazy, just a really good quesadilla. The Spicy Pork Taco (7/10) was great with a nice savory, spicy flavor. The Beef Bulgogi Burrito (6/10) was saucy with a good meat to rice ratio, but both burritos tasted like Korean rice bowls wrapped in a tortilla, which wasn't really my thing. The Chicken Burrito (4/10) had noticeably less meat and was mostly rice. Everything is pretty sauce-heavy with a mayo-based sauce, so the food feels filling.

I ordered delivery a few days ago and was so excited to get the Deluxe Pepperoni cracker style. I immediately noticed something was off when I opened the box and saw the thick white cheese. It reminded me of Beggars Pizza. Typically Professor Pizza cheese has a yellowish hue. I put the pizza in the oven for about 20 minutes thinking that maybe it was undercooked. Unfortunately upon taking my first bite the cheese remained thick and lacked the classic Professor Pizza flavor I was paying for. Also, even after the oven the bread/dough at the bottom of the pizza didn't have a cracker like crunch. My guess is that the brand has had to reduce costs, which is understandable but deeply unfortunate. I won't be ordering again and wasted $60 in delivery fees. I'm giving them two stars bc it was edible, just nasty.
