Has a single bathroom. Only downside is the shape of the drink containers. I really like them, but they are square shaped and don't fit in the car cup holders. Boba places continue to pop up throughout Ventura County and I've been to this location just a few times, but I have enjoyed my experiences thus far. The inside is super clean whenever I've been in and they do have quite a few tea options and also have Viet coffee. I'm still exploring the menu but I think any boba milk tea enthusiast should take a stop into A Tea Thing. The service is always nice and they make great suggestions in terms of what to try and adjust your sweetness and pairing of toppings which is always helpful especially as every boba tea shop does things slightly different. If you want a suggestion try out their signature fresh milk tea with boba and then explore from there. (They also offer milk alternatives) I recently got the honey kumquat tea. I in theory enjoy both those flavors and it sounded refreshing. I think i would pass on this particular option in the future, it just wasn't my favorite cup of tea but others may like it. I think I've also had their lychee - lemon with lychee jelly and did enjoy that one however. Like I mentioned still working my way through the menu options but definitely give it a shot and maybe ask on some highly recommended drinks if you need some guidance, I'm sure the people will be happy to help! read more

I'm a fan! This is a relatively new boba shop that opened in Westlake Village in the same complex as Target. Parking is abundant and straight-forward. It's on the smaller side, but I love the interior decor - clean and chic. There's free WiFi and outlets too, if you want to hang out and work. The menu has a few unique options, like coconut creme and this oat milk topping that I tried during a previous visit. The drinks are on the sweeter side, so keep that in mind when you adjust for sweetness. The boba is great - texture and flavor are on point. The drinks themselves are also fantastic (love the square cups)! My last visit, I tried the Green Thai Tea with Coconut Crème - a bit of a risk because I don't usually like coconut. To my pleasant surprise, I downed that drink in less than 10 min. Service is good, but some of the staff are quite new. The only downside I can think of is the price, but considering the area, it's to be expected. $5 boba is a thing of the past, unfortunately. We found a good boba spot at the Shoppes at Westlake Village. It's a brand new spot that you should check out if you like Boba drinks, tea, and coffee. Their boba is fresh, soft and has the right amount of chewiness. They have different add-on's as well like brown sugar boba, Crystal boba, egg pudding and jelly. You can adjust the sweetness and amount of add-on's as well. We tried the Mangonada, Tornado Cookie n cream, Brown Sugar Milk, and Coconut Cream Green Thai tea with boba drinks. All these were delicious! The place is clean and bright with tables inside and outside. Available restroom inside as well. We sat outside to enjoy the great sunny weather while sipping on our drinks. We snagged the large mango flavor, and it was refreshing. The yogurt was super smooth, and the mango jelly chunks were the perfect balance of sweet and chewy. Seriously, we shared it and still felt stuffed - totally worth the price tag! The shop itself is super cute and modern, with bright lights and clean lines. There's not a ton of seating, but they have some nice standing space. Plus, A Tea Thing does things a little differently than other tea shops around. They've got these cool "blended tornado" drinks and creamy concoctions that sounded pretty tempting, so I'll definitely have to venture back for another flavor soon. I was really excited to try this place out, but I was disappointed in the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. As someone who has had traditional Vietnamese Iced Coffee through my culture, this was not remotely close...but it was honestly not great as coffee period. The taste was very bitter and weirdly didn't even taste like coffee, even when I added sugar. The croffle was good and definitely the highlight of this purchase. And the interior is quite cute, could be such a cute study spot! I will be coming back to try other flavors, and hopefully get the chance to provide a higher star rating. read more

I got a Thai tea with boba. It was ok. Not great but not bad. However, it was expensive for the size of the drink. They charge more than other boba shops and the drinks are smaller. I also didn't like the square cup because it doesn't fit in a car cup holder. The other issue I had was they only had thin straws out. The thin straw was way too small for the boba and the boba kept getting stuck at the end of my straw. So I had to remove the lid from the cup and drink it without a straw. The service was just ok as well. Not mean but not friendly in anyway. A smile or hello would be nice. read more
